Bugbear 4 was killed by Nuriyah and Timerus. There is one bugbear now, and he is trying to escape to warn the others. However, Jaidu is guarding the door and may try shooting at him.

"Lucky for you we will be happy to arrange for you to meet him again in just a moment or two." Takeda says in response to the bugbear. Okay, well it wasn't much of a surprise round. The bugbears knew you were coming. However, some of you got in a surprise attack and these are the results:
1. Tadeka
Atk: 1d20 + 11 - 1 ⇒ (18) + 11 - 1 = 281d8 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10
Was definitely a hit. You given one bugbear a bruise.

Did you take a mutagen? Anyhow the bardiche had actually hit one of them. The flank allowed you to hit the same bugbear as Nuriyah, so you definitely cut through them. That bugbear is dead, thanks to your combined efforts.
There are three bugbears now.
Chui
When it’s his turn, Chui hurls another mote of fire through the door, preferentially at a bugbear in the back not engaged in melee.

Takeda hops over the table, where there is room, and thumps his bugbear yet again. "You, master bugbear, are not trying hard enough." Takeda says landing a punch to the thing's ribs.
Takeda is fighting defensively which gives him the +4 AC vs all attacks shown as a 28 and an extra +4 in melee due to Crane Wing. If they manage to roll a 28 or better he loses the extra +4 for the round but gets to make an AOO against the fellow who managed to roll that high.

Chui dismounts, looking at the dead bugbears in the light of the flame in his hand. This passage leads somewhere, at least. It would be well to wake up the survivor and find out precisely where.
He looks around at the cave structure, especially the door Jaidu has found. Curious indeed, how they built into an existing cavern. Perhaps this was originally the home of a burrowing race, before it turned to evil and disbalance.
Would a knowledge(nature or geography) or survival check help tell how old the deliberate construction is? In case not:
Do any of you have knowledge of underground construction, or engineering? I am curious how long ago, how skilfully, and by who, this cavern was modified.
