We all know that the most important rule of the messageboards is don’t be a jerk.
If I flag someone’s post for breaking the messageboard rules, shouldn’t one of the reasons for posting be “being a jerk”? ;-)
If someone is being a jerk, is “breaks other guideline” the correct way to flag? What if it is individual post that paints the person as a jerk, but their body of work taken in part or whole? Maybe there should be a “has repeatedly shown themselves to be a jerk” option in the drop down menu.
Of course, this suggestion may well make me a jerk…

I consider it a self defining characteristic. I've been a jerk more than my share around here.
Yeah, but I like you, therefore you're not a jerk.
The above statement has nothing to do with the fact that I'm a player in one of Kruelaid's games, that I just made a crucial stealth check to hide from a large band of undead cannibals, and that I suspect he can be a vengeful GM...

Wasn't that this year's April Fool's feature?

..."and his little dog too!!"
I steer clear of the 4e boards typically since I don't want to be a troll...sometimes I'll accidentally post there due tot he title of a post and not knowing it's in the 4e community, then I slowly back away...turn and run like a firebat fleeing the 8th plane of hell...

Really? Was it? I didn't flag anyone on April Fool's day. Maybe I should have flagged everyone. That would have been funny and then I could say, "April Fools". Was it really there?
