Ysoldt watches the three ball of light for anything interesting int he vicinity, and notes the tracks they party is following. "Hey, I thought we were the only ones moving in this direction recently. Are these fresh? I would assume they would be snowed over by ... WATCH OUT!", she shouts as he eyes go wide and points towards a caving wall of ice.
Instinctively, she pulles one of the straps to grab onto something and brace. Fortunately, the dogs interpret this as an order and move a bit to the left to JUST BARELY not hit the ice in the way.
After they are through, she takes a breather. "Well, that was close...", she looks around and adds an "I totally meant to do that..."

Narrowly averting a Cave In, the party halts their progress here, and takes stock of their situation...
You already rolled your important Track (Survival) roll upthread.
Can you describe for the party how you now suspect this Cave In was actually intentionally constructed, and how earlier you had a hunch that these tracks were "off" somehow, and that instead the party should double back? Then how upon doing so, you are able to discover a second set of tracks leads the opposite direction, and how you deem it wise to follow this second set of forking tracks?

For a moment Jacknife put up his hand, "Hold!" he says slowly ahnd seriously. He takes a step forward on the ice and moves his hand over the cave wall. "This doesn't seem right, it's not natural, see this ice is as smooth as the cool marble halls in Katheer." He goes over and sees the ice that had caved in, kneeling down, his finger follows the line of the faces on several blocks. "Ice blocks, cut and manipulated. This was no accident, it was a trap! we've intentionally been set up, those tracks we were following were too regular, too carefully measured out, I should have spoken up sooner, but I wasn't so sure."
Sticking an arrow tip into the surface he stands. He looks behind the group and back into the distance along the way they came. "We need to go back, I remember seeing a parting of tracks, the obvious ones that we followed and some the I thought were older, but must have been intentionally obscured. We should return and follow those tracks, it may lead us to those who set the trap." I'll lead the way....

Jacknife sees no other forking of tracks, and with yet an hour or so of sunrise left this far north, the party arrives at a cave entrance into which the tracks lead, whose inner corridors seem to be glistening from the reflection of sunlight penetrating through.

Though you can't see him, you can hear him. But you are unable to communicate his exact position to your allies, as doing so uses an action, which you are out of, but you may communicate his vague position as a free action (ex. "Behind that Ice Column!").
