It probably refers to my spoiler, since Nidal is a monotheistic theocracy.

@Simon- You can also read Pawero's spoiler

Based on that introduction...
Spells: Fear, Magic Missile, Magic Weapon
Familiar: Climber, Darkvision, Share Senses

Got you all changed over on the chronicle

![]() |

@Simon- You can use a diplomacy or Initimidation against Kareida this fight if you are trying to talk her down.
I'd wager Grommfell was using intimidate in response to the above. I could use a little more clarification: is that something only Simon can do, is it a special mechanic outside of usual diplomacy/intimidation rules?

![]() |

The party of two barbarians... I'm hedging my bets that we aren't a super duper diplomatic group. I know Bubba doesn't have any of them... 'social skillz'.

![]() |

@Pawero- Any of you can do it

![]() |

Its funny, most of the classes/characters that should be scary and good at intimidate aren't due to low CHA. Who looks at a sorcerer as intimidating? Barbs and Fighters yes.. but poor CHA!

1 person marked this as a favorite. |

I feel like there should be an option to use Strength or Charisma, realistically. Lots of systems I've played use one or the other for everyone, but it just doesn't make sense. A burly warrior can usually cow someone just by being big, but he isn't going to subtly insinuate he's going to creep someone out just by his mere presence, necessarily. While I do agree Charisma is an approach to intimidating people, I don't feel like it's the only approach. One thing I liked about 1e was it had options for other ability scores with Intimidate, like the Bruising Intellect trait or the Intimidating Prowess feat.

Lethal weapons used to do non-lethal damage are at -2, not -4, in PF2.

![]() |

I feel your pain, Bubba. My barbarian can’t roll above an 8 most days.

![]() |

Being as he's my first barbarian I'll need some time to sort him out. I need to decide what to do with all those actions, three big swings just isn't going to do it. -10 is a steep penalty!
At least he didn't bomb his saves as well.

![]() |

Demoralize is a good 1st/3rd action. Reduces the AC by 1 on a success.

![]() |

Since frightened doesn't decrease until the end of her turn and it decreases her DCs, I think those last 2 harm DCs should be 19.
...assuming I read the right lines between my scrolling up and down.

They were, I adjusted on the edit.
