It has become pretty clear that working full time and running a side business and raising a child, something has to give. Unfortunately, Paizo is it.
My sincerest apologies for that long delay I was hoping to catch up for weeks but it's clear that's not going to happen and even when it does, any week I can fall behind once more.

Hey RIZZENMAGNUS, wanted to ask you what is the plan going forward. It feels like we are losing (or have already lost) steam on this one.
Regarding the particular situation, unfortunately neither me (the player) and Zak even less are understanding what is going on.
I am not an apologist of hand holding, but.... To be honest I am demotivating a bit here. It feels like the game is moving in erratic jolts. So wanted to know what (if anything) can be done to improve things.
If on the other hand, we are just dragging ourselves along, personally I would rather just end it.

no, it has been rather herky jerky. and most of that is my fault.
ever since that break a couple months ago, ive been kind of "meh" to this adventure. I thought that if i would give it time, it would rekindle something and get me moving full speed ahead, and pull you guys to the library, but nothing ever did, unlike my other game that i DM.
I spent the last couple days trying to figure out what about this that is making me feel this "meh" towards this game. you guys respond, so it's not youre fault. i still have my notes and the game planned out, so it's not like im sitting there spinning my wheels trying to figure something out for you guys to do.
but, i did finally figure it out.
It's the setting. Specifically the Dragonlance setting. I like the books. earlier this year i had it planned out that id reread the main story arcs, and it would be awesome! but, it wasnt. I read chronicles, and it took a lot longer for me to read it than i thought it would. And I started with legends, and then just stopped. I lost interest in reading the series. I kept with this game, but coming back to it after the break, it just felt like i was phoning it in. I kept thinking that if i kept working at this, then my enjoyment of the setting would kick in and off id go, being super DM.
but, it never took.
So, i am really sorry for not getting that thrill back for dragonlance, and am more sorry that it took so long for me to figure this out. And i do want to thank you for hanging in there with me for as long as you did. You guys are fun to play with. So imagine me giving you a crisp high five!

And I've been there - revisiting 'old' settings that brought me a LOT of joy back in the day, just to find them... Different this time around. It happens.
