Running a tad bit low on magic Lavanna calls forth a small bit of power from Gozreh "Jadren, take it down, quick!"
Using the pillar for cover Kaako hides from the skeleton before leaping out to strike.
Unfortunately for Kaako her scarf catches on a sconce on the pillar causing her to yelp in surprise and stumble revealing her position and ruining her attack.
Jadren feels like something... or someone is watching over him as Lavanna calls upon Gozreh to enhance the fighter's abilities.
Kaako tries to sneak up and stab the skeleton while its distracted by Jadren. But she trips, squaks loudly, and draws the attention of the skeleton. It turns to attack and...
The skeleton's gaff hooks onto Kaako, digger into her side ()
Then it turns to Jadren. Lifting one of its claws, it slashes down and takes a chunk out of his side. ()
It then moves back up the stairs, trying to approach Lavanna.

Elsir keeps on chanting, the magic surrounding him for good now. His hair moves to the magical movement of force.
He moves his hand's nad three orbs fly towards the skeleton
"Get behind me, Lavanna!" Jadren shouts, taking a step to the side to make it easier and to make it easier for Kaako to get behind the skeleton.
Then, he makes two quick cuts with his sword.
Lavanna releases pulse of energy. It slowly flows across the air like a gentle wave in the sea. As it touches the living it heals their wounds while hurting the undead alike.
She doesn't hear Jadren until it is too late
Kaako adroitly dodges the skeleton's attack.
Seeing an opening, Kaako moves behind the creature and strikes.
Kaako easily dodges out of the way of the gaff hook - it nearly graces her side. (). The tengu strikes back... and again... but her rapier can't seem to hit the giant skeleton.
Elsir tries a different tactic, something a bit more reliable. Three missiles fly from his hand at the undead and smash hard!
Distracted by both the magic missiles and Kaako continued pokes in the back, Jadren sees his chance. He hits and knocks off a rib, but feels some resistance to his attack! ()
Lastly, Lavanna channels the power of Gozreh. Both Jadren and Lavanna's wounds stitch themselves up. And the skeleton starts rattling in place.
The power of Gozreh must be strong here. More rib bones fall off the skeleton and clatter to the floor, but it still stands.
The giant skeleton looks towards () Lavanna and swing his giant gaff hook into her side.
Lavanna feels the full force of the hook and nearly knocks her out in one hit. The skeleton continues its onslaught, but attempting to claw at Kaako and Jadren instead.
Similarly, Kaako is nearly knocked back by the force of the blow and feels blood drip from now open wounds. ()
But Jadren stands strong. The claw can't seem to penetrate his armor.

Lavanna quickly rushes over to safety as the magical wave surges back into her. "I'm okay!"
Steeling herself Kaako tries to finish the fight for good.
Elsir kwota on chanting, the air around him is filed with magic add it circles around him. He seems more missiles going the enemy way.
The elf begins to breath heavily knowing that he can't keep that paste for to long...
Kaako sees her chance. The skeleton is leaning in to deal with Jadren, very distracted. She spots a crack in its spine and pokes her rapier right into it. With a twist, she hears a pop. After a few seconds, the skeleton's spine starts collapsing with bones falling to the floor left and right. Everyone has to dodge out of the way in attempts to not get hit by falling bones! But the skeleton has been destroyed.
As the skeleton now lays in a heap, the group hears a whoosh as a secret door they didn't notice before swings open in the south side of the room, revealing a set of stairs that descend into the darkness. Cawlo, the clockwork parrot swoops down into the room and circles once before soaring down into the newly revealed corridor.
"Such a strong animated defender requires a powerful Wizzard. Those cost a lot of money, imagine a small chest of golden coins. " says Elsir with a smirk
"Everyone is ok?" asks the elf. When others are patched he would spend some time refocus.
"Fabulous hit," Jadren says as Kaako takes the giant skeleton down.
"I'm good," he answers Elsir, though he's obviously a little hurt.
"I'm not too worried about how big the treasure is, now. I'm more worried that the next level is bigger than this one!" he says with a grin.
"The Captain never made us work THIS hard when he was still alive."
Lavanna looks around as several are injured. Should we stop to rest a moment?"
She lets out a little more healing across the group before her wave of magic dissipates.
With one last heal, Lavanna heals any injuries they sustained during the fight. Following the clockwork parrot Cawlo down the meandering passage, after almost an hour, the group arrives in a dimly lit chamber. Thin shafts of light peek out from behind a curtain that hangs on the opposite wall. In the center of the chamber is a massive wooden chest, its lid open. Unfortunately, all that is inside is a handful of old, corroded copper coins and a few silver pieces.
Cawlo lands ontop of the chest and the voice of Captain Renlock emerges from the bird one last time. "My friends. You truly were the finest crew I ever had the pleasure of sailing with and I am sorry to say that the promised treasure was a ruse. I hope you will forgive me, but I turned it over to the Andoran captain in exchange for his promise to be lenient on all of you. That treasure bought your freedom and I can't think of a finer purchase."
The bird grows silent for a moment before leaping off the chest to perch atop the moldering drapery on the far side of the chamber. The voice continues, "But fear not my friends, because an old pirate like me always has one more secret, and this one is for you.". With that, the parrot tugs at the curtain which falls away to reveal a short passage that leads to a secret cove hidden on the far side of the island.
There, sitting above the waves in a dry dock, is a glorious sailing sloop in near-perfect condition! The parrot continues, "I had a few enchantments cast to make sure it was ready for you when the time was right. The ship is yours. Take it and see the world that I never did."
Kaako claps her hands in delight and rushes aboard the sloop.
"At last! I have a ship again!"
She rubs her hand along the mast before stopping and sheepishly looking back at her friends.
"Err...I mean... have a ship that is. Of course that assumes you want to crew it...? Whaddaya say everyone? Who's up for a shakedown cruise?"
She looks at everyone hopefully.
"Well you were right about the treasure, Elsir," Jadren says as they find the treasure chest.
"Well..." he obviously looks uncertain at Kaako's suggestion. But then he looks around at the other three. After a couple seconds, a slow smile comes to his face.
"Yes."
Elsir comes closer towards the chest and reaches out to touch the copper coins. He does hope it to be another ruse by his former captain.
"I will not reverse the curse with this..." says looking at the ring at his finger
He feels disappointment and rushing anger. Then he turns towards Kaako and listens to her.
"Nothing better than a new adventure to forget the disappointment and bruises. I am in..." he looks at Lavanna with hope. It is hard to say if he wishes for her to come and not to.
"As captain used to say, the sun is high and seas are generous, let's go!"
