Please take care, Rackal. If there's anything we can do to help, please let us know.
@Signy: I very much see a possible future kingdom where Signy and Brental sit down over different fields of grain discussing what to plant in order to get the best ales, and testing their wares out after each harvest. Brental will likely focus on the former, while Signy will lend her expertise to the latter.
Female Human Player/DM
Feel free to move your characters wherever you want I just did my best to approximate, also the is room behind the stable where that trap is set I just messed up the dimensions of the fort a little so you can go under that wall there if you want.
And thanks Poly I appreciate that a lot. Whiskey will help for now though~
Male Neutral Human (Taldan/Kellid) Cavalier (Hooded Knight) 5 | HP 46/46 | AC 22 (23 after feinting), Touch 12 (13 after feinting), Flat-Footed 20 | CMB +7, CMD 19 | Fort +5, Ref +3, Will +3 (-1 vs. fire effects) | Initiative +6 (+8 on roads) | Perception +1 (+3 on roads) | Speed 20 ft. Oddly, I can't manage to get Meneas' layer to be higher than Veil's. Also, I somehow screwed with roll20 enough to make it go all wonky on me, so I'm clearing my cache on it to see if that fixes things.
Female Human Inquisitor (Sanctified Slayer) 4 / Swashbuckler (Rostland Bravo) 1| HP: 45/45 | AC: 19 (T: 13, F: 16) | CMB: +6, CMD: 19 | F: +6, R: +6, W: +6 | Init: +7 | Perc: +10, SM: +8 | Speed 30'| Panache 1/1
You know Poly, that was almost more on the nose than you probably think. There's a very cool prestige calls for Caydenites, Brewkeeper, that I tried really hard to figure out a way for Signy to go into eventually. Sadly it doesn't mesh well at all with Inquisitor.
Still, depending in how things shake out down the line, I could see Signy opening a brewery / ale-church later on.
One of my favorite local breweries is in an old converted church. There are still pipes from the old organ on the wall. I can hardly wait until it's safe to return there.
Also, based on the cover image on Roll20, the Stag Lord is definitely in a metal band. He's probably not a Skald, because I'm pretty sure the Advanced Class Guide came out long after Kingmaker, but now I want him to be a Skald.
Male Neutral Human (Taldan/Kellid) Cavalier (Hooded Knight) 5 | HP 46/46 | AC 22 (23 after feinting), Touch 12 (13 after feinting), Flat-Footed 20 | CMB +7, CMD 19 | Fort +5, Ref +3, Will +3 (-1 vs. fire effects) | Initiative +6 (+8 on roads) | Perception +1 (+3 on roads) | Speed 20 ft. Indeed, Advanced Class Guide came out long after Kingmaker. I'm pretty sure that the only non-core classes at the time were Alchemist & Witch, and maybe Magus. Maybe Cavalier as well.
How is the mobility situation around the tables? Can we move unimpeded through the square between them (two the south of Vod), is that squeezing, would we need to do either Climb or Acrobatics to vault it, or do we just need to go around it?
And then do you want to condense animal companion initiative to be on the same as the PC, or keep it separate? I can command Vod as a free action with Handle Animal, but I'd probably have him delay until my turn just to keep things simple.
Female Human Player/DM
So you can get through the gaps of the tables unimpeded. And as for animal companions I think they should go with the players actually, for a horse and a rider especially now that I think about it, so yeah animal companions act on the same turn as their masters.

Well, that means that Veil can stomp someone if Meneas charges with a non-reach weapon. I'm not sure that's worth the loss of an extra d8 of damage, though...
Female Human Inquisitor (Sanctified Slayer) 4 / Swashbuckler (Rostland Bravo) 1| HP: 45/45 | AC: 19 (T: 13, F: 16) | CMB: +6, CMD: 19 | F: +6, R: +6, W: +6 | Init: +7 | Perc: +10, SM: +8 | Speed 30'| Panache 1/1
Since Brantel has the initiative over Signy, Vod will too. The 5' step to her new position on the map should give her a clean shot again.
BTW: Signy's Initiative bonus is +3 rather than +2, not that it makes a difference in this case. :p
Male Neutral Human (Taldan/Kellid) Cavalier (Hooded Knight) 5 | HP 46/46 | AC 22 (23 after feinting), Touch 12 (13 after feinting), Flat-Footed 20 | CMB +7, CMD 19 | Fort +5, Ref +3, Will +3 (-1 vs. fire effects) | Initiative +6 (+8 on roads) | Perception +1 (+3 on roads) | Speed 20 ft. I'm kind of shocked I rolled so well on the Initiative front. Meneas and Lorna are tied for the lowest bonus in the party, but hey, I'll take what I can get.
Female Human Inquisitor (Sanctified Slayer) 4 / Swashbuckler (Rostland Bravo) 1| HP: 45/45 | AC: 19 (T: 13, F: 16) | CMB: +6, CMD: 19 | F: +6, R: +6, W: +6 | Init: +7 | Perc: +10, SM: +8 | Speed 30'| Panache 1/1
One thing that occurred to me yesterday: Wisp and I had decided she would be covered all things Disable Device related, so now we don't have anyone to do that stuff.
Anybody want to pick that up, or should I look at ways for Signy to do it?
Male Neutral Human (Taldan/Kellid) Cavalier (Hooded Knight) 5 | HP 46/46 | AC 22 (23 after feinting), Touch 12 (13 after feinting), Flat-Footed 20 | CMB +7, CMD 19 | Fort +5, Ref +3, Will +3 (-1 vs. fire effects) | Initiative +6 (+8 on roads) | Perception +1 (+3 on roads) | Speed 20 ft. I would, but Meneas, uh, doesn't exactly have skill points flowing out his ears.
Iirc, Signy was originally looking at dipping Seeker Oracle, right?

Yeah, I figure it will need to be Signy for that reason as well as the Dex factor. I moved Signy's build away from it so it'll be tricky to work it in, but I'll figure something out.

Just go for it if you truly feel it will enrich your character and you will enjoy it, Signy. Otherwise, maybe we should consider recruiting a replacement (to deal with traps and healing? I reckon Brental can help with this later as well)
Strictly speaking, Disable Device may not be fully necessary. As long as we notice a trap, there are ways of bypassing it other than Disable. Magical traps can be dispelled. We just need to be creative.
I think we'll be fine with four. We can look back at the recruitment thread if we're feeling like things are rough.
Female Human Player/DM
Meneas you can choose to have Veil work on your own initiative or on her own if you want. Either way I don't mind.
Also sorry about that Signy xP +3 it shall be
This isn't a super trap heavy AP so you should be fine without a disabler but if you would prefer I'm happy to re-open recruitment to grab one if you want.
Also super important! Do you guys want to have monsters die when they hit 0 hit points or follow the actual bleed out/stabilize rules?

Speaking as a GM, I usually do whatever is dramatically appropriate - when creatures are downed but the group cannot communicate with them, I typically have them essentially dead at 0. If I think they're likely to want to spare them, I count it down.
Up to you, in other words.
Female Human Player/DM
Fair enough, then I have just one question for Signy...
Were you shooting to kill? >.>'
Female Human Inquisitor (Sanctified Slayer) 4 / Swashbuckler (Rostland Bravo) 1| HP: 45/45 | AC: 19 (T: 13, F: 16) | CMB: +6, CMD: 19 | F: +6, R: +6, W: +6 | Init: +7 | Perc: +10, SM: +8 | Speed 30'| Panache 1/1
@Rackal: Well, yeah. <shifts feet awkwardly>
Female Human Player/DM
That's all I needed to know :)

I wouldn't be able to do anything about traps, etc. until at least another level up anyway. We'll see how it goes.
Female Human Player/DM
First kill of the game goes to Signy with a one shot one kill on the leader of the bandit group!
Sorry this wasn't more exciting guys but I don't fudge dice rolls and Signy did exactly the right amount of damage xD

No need to be sorry! Loved the results. Lorna already talked the talk and got as much information as she'd ever hope to get, so I feel we're golden. Good job!
I'd rather count them dead only when they're in fact dead (negative CON) so we can stabilize and bring back anyone we might want to "interview". It's okay to count them out of the fight, though, to make things easier (assuming no one on their side would be able to channel and bring them back up).
Of course it doesn't apply to constructs and undead :D
Female Human Player/DM
Okay, so Happs isn't dead then just unconscious since he's at 0 so he's already stable somehow >.>' arrows to the throat are generally very survivable in my expert opinion
Male Neutral Human (Taldan/Kellid) Cavalier (Hooded Knight) 5 | HP 46/46 | AC 22 (23 after feinting), Touch 12 (13 after feinting), Flat-Footed 20 | CMB +7, CMD 19 | Fort +5, Ref +3, Will +3 (-1 vs. fire effects) | Initiative +6 (+8 on roads) | Perception +1 (+3 on roads) | Speed 20 ft. If Meneas had any ranks in Intimidate, I might've tried a demoralize with my standard action, but... I think he'd be at +1.
Female Human Spiritualist 1 | HP 11/11 | AC 17 TO 13 FF 14 | F +4 R +2 W +2 (+2 vs. fey spells and SLA, +4 vs. mind-affecting) | CMD 16 | Init +2 | Perc +0 DV
GM, would you mind please adding a link to Roll20 either to your header, or to the campaign header?
Also: how do I add another token there (for Lorna's exemplar)?
EDIT: Additionally, I like how Happs died cinematographically and how it enriches the action. It's okay to call some moments like that as it helps with the scene :)
Female Human Player/DM
I can add it for you if you find an image you would like to use! ^^
And sure thing I'll add it now.
In the meantime please feel free to use the substitute Lorna Exemplar I'll have out on the field.

Yeah, we don't need Happs. He died a cool death. We'll nab another or two of them.
Female Human Player/DM
Fair enough Happs is super dead now then :) for realz this time
Female Human Spiritualist 1 | HP 11/11 | AC 17 TO 13 FF 14 | F +4 R +2 W +2 (+2 vs. fey spells and SLA, +4 vs. mind-affecting) | CMD 16 | Init +2 | Perc +0 DV
... Or is he? Happs, the Zombie!
Aren't living creatures disabled and staggered at 0 hp?
Disabled
I love the cinema of it as well!
Female Human Player/DM
Technically true poly but I asked if we wanted him dead at 0 hp and the first answer was yes so that's what I went with~
Female Human Inquisitor (Sanctified Slayer) 4 / Swashbuckler (Rostland Bravo) 1| HP: 45/45 | AC: 19 (T: 13, F: 16) | CMB: +6, CMD: 19 | F: +6, R: +6, W: +6 | Init: +7 | Perc: +10, SM: +8 | Speed 30'| Panache 1/1
Technically yes, Happs is disabled. Mostly though from what I've seen, DMs don't typically go through all that for enemies and count them as dead at 0. Partially it's simplified bookkeeping, but there are other reasons too.
Female Human Player/DM
Alright, I must go to sleep sometime unfortunately so there will be a bit of a break here from me but Vod still needs to go so please have that ready! You guys are... redonkulously strong holy jeez >.>'
Male Neutral Human (Taldan/Kellid) Cavalier (Hooded Knight) 5 | HP 46/46 | AC 22 (23 after feinting), Touch 12 (13 after feinting), Flat-Footed 20 | CMB +7, CMD 19 | Fort +5, Ref +3, Will +3 (-1 vs. fire effects) | Initiative +6 (+8 on roads) | Perception +1 (+3 on roads) | Speed 20 ft. Pfft. Strong, maybe. Accurate? Not so much.
Sorry I didn't realize you were waiting on Vod. That's why I asked if we were consolidating animal companions. He'll full attack!
Female Human Player/DM
Vod is a beast xD
Anyways the two bandits at the edge of the map will begin fleeing on horseback starting next turn so get 'em while you can!
Male Neutral Human (Taldan/Kellid) Cavalier (Hooded Knight) 5 | HP 46/46 | AC 22 (23 after feinting), Touch 12 (13 after feinting), Flat-Footed 20 | CMB +7, CMD 19 | Fort +5, Ref +3, Will +3 (-1 vs. fire effects) | Initiative +6 (+8 on roads) | Perception +1 (+3 on roads) | Speed 20 ft. Sorry, whose turn is it now?
Female Human Player/DM
Yours I believe Meneas :)
Brental can go too~
Male Neutral Human (Taldan/Kellid) Cavalier (Hooded Knight) 5 | HP 46/46 | AC 22 (23 after feinting), Touch 12 (13 after feinting), Flat-Footed 20 | CMB +7, CMD 19 | Fort +5, Ref +3, Will +3 (-1 vs. fire effects) | Initiative +6 (+8 on roads) | Perception +1 (+3 on roads) | Speed 20 ft. "I keep my word." Also, cronch. Getting kicked in the head by a horse is no joke.
Female Human Player/DM
Let it be known that Meneas' threats are not to be taken lightly.
And yeah a horse kick can be freaking brutal >.>'
Oh! Also, if anyone wants a different image to represent their character on the roll20 map just post it here and I can swap it for ya! This goes for animal companions too of course!
Female Human Inquisitor (Sanctified Slayer) 4 / Swashbuckler (Rostland Bravo) 1| HP: 45/45 | AC: 19 (T: 13, F: 16) | CMB: +6, CMD: 19 | F: +6, R: +6, W: +6 | Init: +7 | Perc: +10, SM: +8 | Speed 30'| Panache 1/1
Well we came really close, but I don't think we can stop the last guy from getting away. I don't know where the attack would come from this round unless Lorna's spook can get over to him before he gallops off.
Oh well, hardy the end of the world.

He is not by his horse - he still has to mount, right? And we have someone already mounted.
I'll do what I can, but Brental is not particularly fast!
