After much deliberation by my wife and I the final selection is in.
To everyone who participated thank you all so much for your interest and all the fantastic characters submited. It has been a great pleasure to get to know all of you.
In the end there were too many great characters for us to stick to our original goal of only four players so a fifth has been selected and even then the decision was extremely difficult (like seriously I had no idea it would be this hard).
The final selections are as follows,

For those of you who weren't selected, know this was a very difficult decision to make and that just because your character wasn't selected doesn't mean that they aren't an outstanding character! I know the heartbreak of not getting selected myself but remember there are other games with more experienced DMs than me out there so please keep trying! I agonized over not selecting several outstanding characters on this recruitment thread myself all day, my wife and I had some differing opinions on who should be accepted as well making the decision simultaneously more difficult and way easier xD
Anyways, know that you are appreciated and that your characters were a delight to read <3

The submissions to this game were among the most consistently good I've ever seen. It must have been torture to narrow it down this low. You could form three or four fantastic parties here. I'll be starting up a second Age of Worms game on these forums pretty soon, and I hope some of you will consider applying there. I'd be thrilled to have any of these amazing PCs at my virtual table.
Congratulations to those selected, and have tons of fun! And, of course, I hope everyone else also has tons of fun, in some other campaign if not this one.
Perhaps our paths will cross again at some point, and, um, if you ever hear strange rumours about stuff brewing in Hymbria, don’t worry about it.
