Furious and humiliated by the results of his first attack, Zabu lets out a roar that vibrates in the chests of those around him. He's far too angry to let whatever poison the creature accosted him with affect him. Leaping to his feet, he rushes at the stick man and makes a jumping bite with his oversized canines.

Teja blinks as she comes round, seeing Oskar peering over her. Her first thought is an unworthy one.

Oh gods, a halfling, my pocketbook!

Even as she reaches down to pat herself, she stops, remembering what had happened.

"Ugh... thanks Oskar."

Zabu leaps at the grimstalker and tries to bite it in the process, but misjudges the distance of some hanging vines and gets caught up in them instead. The stalker gives what could almost sound like laughter as the small bestial gnome slips out of the tangle of vines.

Horatio fires off a bolt of fire, but misses the stalker, only adding to the flames of Ruby standing behind the stalker instead.

Teja moves about on the ground I forgot you should be going before the stalker now, due to nearly dying and feels the poison push further into her body as she feels her fingers growing numb. Instead she pulls out a bottle and downs the contents and grabs her rapier. Standing up will take some time later.

The grimstalker, feeling that it is getting surrounded, lashes out at the one that hurt it the most, taking two big swings at the ranger with the cold iron greats sword.

Looking at the bonuses page, Plants Cut Down seems to be useful right about now. Can I invoke it?

"Urrgh..." Roumatha says through gritted teeth as the wooden man tears through his flesh, however the sap in the wounds has no adverse effects on him for now.

He just nods at Oskar healing his wounds before giving chase again.

Normally I would need 3 strides to catch up with the Grimstalker through the difficult terrain. However if I can invoke Plants Cut Down, then I can make it in two strides, leaving a chance to Strike:

Zabu runs towards the large fey man and tries to take another lunging attack with his jawas, but once again the manuever is deftly avoided. However, this time Zabu is able to follow it up with a claw that scores down the hide of the creature dealing it some damage and pain.

Roumatha uses his knowledge of the underbrush and hacks his way through allowing everyone to get through the brush for a little bit easier. He then arrives next to the fey man and chops him down, ending the fight.

But not before Horatio has a moment to tend to Teja's wounds and keep her on her feet.

You have about 15ish minutes before the next fight starts. We only have a few days (Until sometime on the 27th) left in the special though, if you don't want to try risking it.

But during that rest time, Teja Still needs to make 3 fort saves against the poison. She will still take damage but if she rolls well it might more or less. After 3 rounds though it would run its course.

Finally, this is likely the last chance you can use the Pathfinders Rescued boon as that can only be used between encounters. If you want to use it, the please roll me a 2d8 for everyone's healing.

Zabu gives the plant fey a couple good kicks when he's down before wandering away.

His features shift back to normal just as another pathfinder comes along and gives them a burst of healing. He gives them a nod before sitting down on a log to wait.

I wouldn't mind trying another, but I think Teja should have the final decision since she's the lowest on hit points and is already Wounded.

Genuinely don't think we could do another encounter in <2 days.
If we only have 15 minutes, I can only heal 1 person and then I suppose I could burn my remaining divine font heals (2), but then we'd be behind the 8 ball on healing in an encounter

**HOUSE GM ANNOUNCEMENT**

There is a strange sensation throughout the demiplane of tension being released. It’s as though the plane itself had been holding its breath for a long time and finally exhaled. The Thorned Monarch has fallen. Gregaro Voth, now freed from his planar prison, stands before the assembled group.

“Pathfinders, there are no words to thank you for coming to my rescue. I have talked with Venture-Captain Tolal, and I understand I’ve been trapped here for a great many years. Unfortunately, I cannot return with you to Absalom. If I leave this place, the weight of time would suddenly bear down upon me, and I would immediately die. So, I shall remain here, though I imagine I can make this a more palatable prison.”

Voth, still wearing the crown, looks around him, and the landscape suddenly changes. In an instant, where before there was a copse of trees, there now stands a brand-new Pathfinder lodge with sprawling grounds. The scene is beautiful, with dozens of small buildings dotted across a verdant landscape complete with tall trees, colorful flowers, and chirping birds. “I suppose the adventure can come to me! Please, Pathfinders, stay and enjoy a well-deserved rest. Tell me of all the journeys you’ve taken and the discoveries that you’ve made!”

---

After a full night’s rest, though perhaps with a few odd dreams, Oraiah Tolal and Gregaro Voth ask everyone to meet the next morning. Agents assemble in a garden on the new lodge’s grounds.

Gregaro Voth begins, “Pathfinders, you have done amazing work, defeating the Thorned Monarch and his forces after making the arduous journey out here.” Oraiah Tolal continues, “But if Aleta smiles upon our work, you will have a much easier journey home.” Together, they cast a spell, and a shimmering archway appears. After a few moments, Master of Spells Sorrina Westyr and Decemvirate member Eliza Petulengro walk through. Westyr exclaims happily, “Well done, Pathfinders, all of you!” Petulengro explains more. “We’ve established a link between this new lodge and the Maze of the Open Road, a hedge maze and portal network that used to be carefully restricted by the Decemvirate. The Decemvirate is planning to add new nodes to the maze, allowing Pathfinders to swiftly travel to places far from the Society’s current reach. And so, if you are ready to go home, please follow me. You have more than earned a swift trip home!” Petulengro and Westyr lead the way through the portal, into the maze, and through another archway that leads straight back to the Grand Lodge.

That’s the end! Thank you for all your hard work, GMs, and thanks to everyone for playing!
