Realizing it would take too long to saddle the horse and he would probably fall off if the horse was being chased by flying hell dogs. Seamus follows the pig out the right hand door into the room with stair well, cursing under his breath he runs forwards, finding Pachemu standing in front of the barred entrance. Stopping near the pig, "There you are, you need to stay close. How are the flying hell dogs supposed to eat you instead of me if they can't find you?" Waggling his finger at the pig, he reaches for the large board keeping the fort doors bolted shut.
hmmm, out the right door, down the hall into the courtyard sounds like 60 ft to me...

Kizzy swings, but misses as she stays in position to help the most allies. Kast criticals, taking a chunk out of the poor hound just as Meg hits the creature as well, though she doesn’t crit.
Though it snarled at the watchman, the remaining hound continues to snap at Izomandakus, its protection keeping it in the air for now.

Making eye contact with the poor Pachemu, Seamus finally shakes off he effect of the flying hell dogs baying. Taking his hands off of he wooden bar, he smiles, "Come on Pachemu let's go help our friends."
Taking the shortest route to the courtyard, Seamus draws his bow as he runs down the stairs. Around the corner and through the doors into the badly done art room, he bolts down the hallway in enough time to see an overgrown furry goblin carrying a huge bow roaring through the door. Notching an arrow he calls out. "Hey folks we have a problem out here! I think we found Shalelu's bugbear!"

Bruthazmus looks angry, ”They’ve hurt Nualia, and probably your little pet too, get off your ass Orik and fight for you life damnit!” he urges his ally on, waiting for him to get into position before following.
Orik moves into the chamber, but hesitates at the door seeing so many blades and bows arrayed against him. Still, he triggers Kast’s AoO (which hits!) and Kizzy’s AoO (which misses) and tries to return the favor.

Meanwhile, the bugbear comes as far as the corner and shoots around it. He’s clearly looking for Seamus, but can only see the elusive one's shadow from his position. A puddle of grease appears at the feet of the offenders limiting their movements "Try to use that bow there now Brutontus! Don't you see the armor Kast is dressing and the sword in Kizzy's back? Nualia is... wait dead? When did she die?"

He lifts his hand and gives the bugbear another obscene gesture, ready to try and dodge another arrow hoping the bugbear would target him instead of Izomandakus.

Kizzy does what she can, but even over the prone Orik, she can’t land a blow against Bruthazmus. Kast swings at the prone Orik, but still doesn’t manage to hit the heavily armored man (banded mail). Valena doesn’t confirm the critical, but she does cut the bugbear to his scowl.
Orik, already severely pressed and he’s yet to draw blood, dares not to stand for fear of the three incoming AoO’s if he does. Instead, he presses Valena, doing what he can to try and slash her from the ground.

Reminder that the bugbear's will save's are -2 from Val's stare
A mirror image of Val pops into existence at Orik's failed attack, and it stays there.
The two Vals each raise a nonplussed eyebrow at the bugbear for his jibes at his supposed comrade. She calmly stabs towards him as he clumsily tries to back away.

Izomandakus tries another daze, this time against Bruthazmus. I’m sure wisdom is his strong suit… Kizzy stabs the bugbear through cover (nice feat) and hits! Seamus connects once, though his second swing comes ever so close. Kast also lands a blow, and only just, but it’s a hard hit. Valena continues to spread around the damage, catching Bruthazmus with her AoO, but not with her main swing.

Will may not be his strong suit, but he leans on his anger and perseveres.
Orik, getting well hammered now, realizes he should have stood last round, for now he’d be facing FOUR AoOs. "If the bugbear won't do it you should at least consider surrender Orik. Or do you wish to die here with the Brutus?" Izomandakus rebukes the warrior although not very convincingly as his face is fully covered by blood by now.
The boy will wait to see what happens with Orik. If the group manages to defeat him, he makes a gesture and dismisses the grease. If not, he casts daze on him.

Seeing the grease disappear, he looks at Kizzy smiling, "Do you want to get behind Val with that pigsticker and go to work on the Bugbear?" Sheathing the long knives, Seamus goes back to pick up his bow, hoping to get another shot in.

Izomandakus dispels the grease, making for easier going all around. Kizzy stabs Bruthazmus, cutting him viciously. Seamus hits with his AoO, and he switches his weapons up again. Kast also hits with his AoO before reaching back and coup de grace-ing the blue hound (per ooc). Valena hits with her AoO, and though it’s a light tap, it’s enough to drop poor Orik. Her follow up swing is a miss on the bugbear however.
Bruthazmus knows when the jig is up. He’s no fool. Well, he is a fool, but a cunning one. He withdraws and flees back into the chamber from which he came.

Kast isn’t going to be good at chasing anyone, and takes a moment to coup de grace the other hound, and 5’ stepping towards the no-dog.

Izomandakus exhales relieved when the bugbear decides to run. Holding himself to the column to avoid fainting down, he pulls out the arrow still lodged in his chest "Aaaaaah!" then looks for the potions in his bandolier. His trembling hand grasps one and raises it to the mouth to take out the cork with his teeth, quickly drinking it down the neck and beyond.

The boy barely registers Kast impaling the fallen dogs around while he drinks the contents with even more energy as the gash in the forefront closes, and the bleeding hole in the chest fills magically with new flesh.
Rejecting the now empty flask Izomandakus steps forward holding tight his staff "The battlements... we have to get out to the battlements and shot him in his run through the bridge"
Then looking around "Pachemu. Where is Pachemu?"
As he says this the pig darts past the shrine doors and down the corridor "Ei you! Where are you going? I am here!"

Hearing rather than seeing the the bugbear flee, Seamus confirmed his suspicions as Kizzy announces the bugbear is on the run. Seeing her start off after it, with bow in hand he bolts out the door after them down the hallway the bugbear came out of. Sprinting into the room he Sees Kizzy moving up the stairwell, staying right behind her he calls to the others. "He's going up stairs."

The party, mostly, charges after the bugbear as he tries to make his escape. You run through the twists and turns of the complex, nothing standing in your, or his, way with all the open doors. It’s a hard slog, with him always just a few steps ahead.
But the bridge is his undoing as Izomandakus suggests. The long, large open expanse where even your weak ranged skills will manage to drop him. After all, he only has two hit points left…
You drag his body back off the bridge, loot it, and return to the basement to decide what to do next. As usual, let me know if you’re keeping the bugbear or the human alive.

Having caught up with the fallen Bugbear, Seamus drops his bow, drawing one of his long knives. Tearing the necklace of elf ears off his neck, Seamus growls. "Let me replace that for you." He then reaches under the unconscious monsters head and draws his long knife across it's throat, almost beheading the brute. Stripping the body of any valuables, he rolls the body over the edge, watching it drop into the water below. Looking at Kizzy he gives a slight smirk. "He had that coming." Pointing to the gear he continues. "Here give me a hand with this stuff. Whatever we don't want to carry we can leave by the horse." Once they return into the captured fortification he bolts the door with the large board, keeping everyone and everything locked out.
As they head to the basement he turns to Kizzy, asking, "Kizzy I'm going to assume since you just bought new armor, your not going to want the humans armor." He shrugs a little. "So it won't matter if we get a little more blood on it." Once in the basement hallway, he slits the humans throat as well. Then stirps the body of anything useful. Pointing to the south, "We've been that way, the first room has three closed doors, two open ones and a stairway that goes upstairs." He then points to the east. "Let's check that door. I don't want to leave something behind us."
Nearing the door, he listens then checks it carefully for traps, once he sure it's clear, he waits for the group to join him and opens the door.
