These appear to be simple hungry wild dogs. Unlikely to stick around if wounded.
Ringo's throw goes wild, falling wide left.

Lugrok clicks his tongue a couple times in a rapid pattern. Urks head lowers a bit, staying near his friend.

Combat over

![]() |

Gronak hangs his head. His sword point drops lazily to the ground.
”I have failed. It is as though by choosing this new pursuit, I am to know that I will lose my current strength in combat. Must it be true that all wizards should be weak and frail? Is that what will come of me?”

![]() |

"Probably, Gronak. You should dedicate yourself to Gorum, at search for valor instead of magic!"

![]() |

Wrofyx pats his new friend on the back.
"I'm sure all will be fine Gronak, your mind may just be full with thoughts of your new path. Just focus on the now and the rest will come"

Smirks, hearing Gronak speak, but claps his hand on the big humans shoulder.
"You worry too much. Let Nature take its course, like the rivers do. If you try to dam them, it will only back up and flood other places in its attempt to find its path."
He smiled, the tusks more pronounced as he did so, then looked at the others.
"Everyone is well? Nothing serious hurt?"
Without so much as looking, he reaches down and scratches Urk on the shoulders once again, then patting him heavily.
"Good boy."

![]() |

Gronak takes a deep breath.
”I have no trouble in finding valor for Gorum. I have stood by my people as we have fought against the tides of the Abyss that leak through the Worldwound, and I will continue to do so. What has driven me here is to learn the secrets of magic that my people have seen tear through these Demons, as they continue to destroy my people.”
“I will not fail them.”
“Thank you, Fat Penguin. I will keep focused on what must be done.”
He stands straight, nodding down to Wrofyx and lifting his sword back to the ready as he moves up the pile of rubble to get a better vantage into the ruins.

![]() |

A small smile creeps upon Ringo's face,"Well spoken sir," directed to Lugrok, "Quite thought provoking."
He moves to collect his poorly thrown javelin, inspecting it briefly before stowing it.
"No injury here, shall we proceed inside?"

GM.Kashka |

The party takes a cursory look before entering the Tower. The ceilings appear 15 feet tall, and the only light appears to be flowing in through the ruined walls.
The southern wing seems buried in rubble. The northern wing of the tower seems to have escaped the worst effects of the collapse, but rubble still litters the floor and everything is covered in a thick layer of stone dust. Thick cobwebs cloak the ceiling and hang down the walls like gossamer tapestries. A single archway stands open in the southwest wall.

![]() |

Looking in with darkvision, do I see anything otherwise?
After recovering the leather strip and tucking it back into his belt, he took up his place in the gathering of the group, listening to the area about them. As the he approached the entry way of the northern tower, he looked in to see if anything looked abnormal or out of place within. The cobwebs usually were made by smaller spiders, ones who would leave them alone, but never disregard anything in older buildings such as these...

GM.Kashka |

The party scours around the East rubble, taking stock of the two options.
