Chorizal |
"Everyone gets one, Oraeus. That was yours," Chorizal says as the android narrowly misses hitting him.
"And that was yours," he says to the rock creature when it actually scores a hit.
He swings back, twisting his doshko in an upward slash from behind him.

Oraeus Vailash |
As soon as Chorizal's voice rings out, Oraeus shakes his head as the sensors and telepathic curcuits in his head restart. "Wait, one what? Did something happen? What happened to the giant Formian Worker that was here just a second ago? .... Know what? Tell me later, let's finish off this, uh, thing first!"

And with that, the Elemental is no more.

The portal appears active and ready to take you home, so you step through to the mine on Vesk-8. You emerge to find that Jularaz has arrived - the cavern is cleared of everyone aside from himself and Rahla.
Jularaz appears joyous, yet uncomfortably eager that you have returned - "Rahla and I had begun to wonder if you were all were dead, yet here you are, and no doubt you have a lot to tell me about what was discovered on the other side..."
Chorizal |
Chorizal shuts down his forcefield when the thing shatters. He hesitates a bit before stepping through the portal, though. After all, it seemed like it was just glitching. He can just imagine getting teleported into a sun or having his essential particles scattered over a star system through some messed up magic.
At Jularaz's question, he shrugs eloquently. "Not much to report. We were taken to Traverse. That part worked right. We found some dead vesk, a squatter in a crashed ship and a kothama."
Rastar |
"Mostly what we found was a bunch of nothing! Cold air and ice. A frozen moon. The broken remains of a starship and some crazy squatter. And the elemental. Don't forget the giant creature made of this psychic stone. Oh yeah, by the way, putting a bunch of desperate and deranged people in close presence to a mineral that reacts to psychic energy wasn't a bright idea. That's probably why your portal is going haywire. Maybe bring some happy people in here now and again. Children, maybe? You have happy children prisoners here?"
J'Shun Kay |
J'Shun salutes Jularaz smartly and says, "You'll have my full report as soon as I have a chance to type it up sir."
Chorizal |
"The squatter just seemed to be...living there. The Kothama was stargazing in preparation for whatever their big meeting is," Chorizal answers.
Oraeus Vailash |
Dangnabit, I think the boards ate my post? But it mostly amounted to Oraeus asking Chorizal if we really wanted to talk about the man who specifically asked to not be exposed to to the Veskarium.
J'Shun Kay |
The question is, most of us agreed to not report the kothama, but did Chorizal...
Chorizal |
The real question is...did Chorizal's player remember that he wasn't supposed to mention the kothama?
And the answer is...'no.'
J'Shun Kay |
Yes, I thought that was probably the real reason. However, it would have been fun if Chorizal had gone rouge, since he is a vesk, and we would have had to role play the situation.
Oraeus Vailash |
Oraeus gives a look of surprise at Chorizal for selling out the man who jsut wanted to be left alone. He'd understand that the vesk would think like the Veskarium and might have his worries. He telepathically sends, <<Chorizal, are you positive you want to tell the commander about the man who didn't want to be discovered?>>
He then steps in closer and tries to cover up the faux pas. "Chorizal is a bit mixed up when it comes to the komatha. There was a komatha statue built by someone, maybe the squatter? But it had been painted in an extremely lifelike appearance so mcuh we thought it was one until we realized otherwise. Chorizal must be mixing it up again."
Personally, Ceolor would mention there was a friendly and non-aggressive komatha who doesn't want to be exposed to the Veskarium to the Society, but he'll consult with the group before going ahead.
Maxamas Maxamas |
Maxamas will report or not report things based upon the group majority decision. He is a gentleman and feels he should go with the majority vote.
Shifty |
"Statues and wreckage, doesn't sound too interesting. Rahla will return you to the landing pad outside Penal Colony 8. By the time of your return, First Seeker Ehu Hadif will already have my review of your work."
Indeed, Rahla does just that. Thanking you for your time, she returns you to your shuttle and back to the Society.
The end - for now!
