Blanka looks into the room to the west, there seems to be a lingering chill as well as a few slowly melting blocks of ice. It is clear at some point magic kept this room cold but the magic has failed leaving behind clusters of fungus and a rusted, holey casserole pan.

everyone can do a Nature check while looking around this room

Doktor Middens sees that the fungus looks awfully similar to the rest of the fungus nearby, though none of the others appear to have gained sentience.

In the North room, Doktor Middens and Simeek easily spot a collection of things covered in dust and cobwebs: a light hammer, a hatchet, five backpacks, four bedrolls, two fishing tackles, artisan’s tools, 100 feet of rope, and a repair kit.

After done with the supply room, Doktor will look in to the cold room

Most of the group collectively avoids or scratches their heads at the fungus, but Blanka Cassa recognizes that there is a patch of Chanterelle mushrooms which can be cooked and would be a most delicious meal. Blanka also recognizes that the other mushrooms would be poisonous to eat.

Simeek then opens the southern door and reveals a gigantic hallway and a cavernous chamber to the east. Crates and furniture are stacked against the walls, atop which sit dusty games and an old, ugly duck toy. An enormous taxidermic alligator is crammed beneath a gaming table.

Blanka quickly gathers up the delectable mushrooms before moving on.

”What is this place? Seems too odd to be our treasure cache.” he says, moving into the room up to the alligator, pick in one hand, ready to poke the alligator to see if it is truly inanimate.

The Doktor heads in to examine the taxidermy and the is fascinated by the toy duck. "This is a rare treasure!"

Blanka pokes alligator with his pick but it doesn't flinch. The Doktor looks closely at the alligator and also determines the alligator isn't alive. It simply lays there with it's jaws wide open wide enough for your head to fit in! While The Doktor is inspecting the toy duck, however, several snarls come from the opposite end of the hall. Three taxidermic dogs then crawl into view with one dog blue running towards Simeek. The dog tries to bite Simeek but it's jaws seem to be rather stiff and not closing all of the way. miss

Doktor Middens takes a look at the closest blue dog and figures out a plan of attack

Feeling less than confident on a good strike he turns his attention to one of the approaching Red dog

He then reloads. "Let us see what stuffing there is"

The Doktor's bolt pierces the fur coat of the red dog, revealing some stuffing, however the creature doesn't seem bothered by this at all. Instead the red dog starts moving across the floor with it's mouth hanging wide open. It runs past Simeek who slices open a large wound that stuffing bursts out of but Simeek feels this wasn't as effective as he'd like. With the little stuffing it has left holding it together, the red dog tries to bite The Doktor. As it tries to bite, it's jaws also seem a bit stiff and can't quite clench the kobold's flesh.

Doktor hit with piercing, but it didn't seem as effective as he'd like. Simeek found the same with slashing

Blanka moves around to to flank the dog, and let’s his bottle rage loose! His pick starts crackling with electrical energy as he swings into the red stuffed dog with his massive weapon!

Rhin's blade whiffs the blue dog! Blanka moves into position and and strikes down with a glimpse of dragonesque strength. His pick pierces the red dog's coat and causes all of the stuffing to explode out of the dog. It's skin falls to the ground and remains moving for a moment before subsiding. crit!

Grimmir's spell misses the blue dog. As Grimmir tries to make the dog tremble, it seems to be fully unaffected and pays no attention to the kobold's prowess. demoralize not successful

Simeek's halberd then pierces straight through the blue dog with such force that it too also explodes into a mess of stuffing. Crit! As the stuffing hits the ground it seems some of it remains moving for a moment before stopping.

Shortly after the last dog runs down the hall and focuses on the first kobold it sees-- Rhin. The dog's jaws look like they are trying to also bite down on Rhin but it's mouth doesn't move. It shakes it's head and tries again but the jaws fail to close on Rhin for a second time.

Simeek, Blanka, and Rhin move against the third dog and collectively stab and bludgeon it until there is no movement left. Grimmnir nearby eats the stuffing to find that it is a bit bland and Grimmir is perhaps a bit disappointed to find both of their feet still on the ground.

Looking closer around the room, the group finds:
• An old dish set that is too good to be used
• several old games
• A few scattered children toy's like the ugly duck toy that The Doktor has deemed treasure

The hall extends to the east, but not much can be seen from the current position outside of a chest that has assorted sparkling treasure spread across the floor.

The group picks through the treasure and makes notes of what they want to claim as their prize once the trove is safe. Following Rhin's advice the group cautiously approaches the chest but find no traps. Looking into the room the group see it holds luxurious furniture, including a child-sized bed with forgotten children’s toys piled upon it. Not a moment later, a small doll that is singing to herself looks up and in a singsong voice says, "Come play with me!" She skips towards the group and then casts a spell at Simeek who feels negative energy begin to latch onto him.

Also nearby is a riding pony toy that seems to be rocking all by itself.

Blanka's pick hits the riding pony and some stuffing gets ripped out of the toy. Blanka, however, finds that the outer layer of the toy seems particularly tough and the pick didn't seem to do as much as he'd like. Hit, not a crit. and some kind of resistance

Simeek's halberd misses the talking doll who just giggles mockingly in response.

The Riding Pony then starts rocking vigorously and starts moving itself. It begins to trample through and headbutt Blanka, The Doktor, Rhin, and Grimmnir. After moving through Grimmnir's square it stops, seeming to have lost it's momentum. Everyone except Simeek needs a basic reflex save (DC 14). 9 bludgeoning damage on fail

Grimmnir's acid splash hits the doll and burns her skin slightly. hit! The attempt to demoralize the doll didn't work as the doll doesn't seem to even give Grimmnir a thought.

The doll then steps towards Simeek and tries to punch him twice. The first punch whiffs completely but the second one hits Simeek right in the nose! miss, then hit for 7 B dmg

Simeek shakes his head, trying to get rid of the stinging sensation on his nose.

He then brings down his halberd once more on the doll.

Seeing That most of the toys are in hand, Doktor Middens frees a hand from his crossbow as he moves over to Simeek. Grabbing some tools and bandages from his bandolier his quickly binds some Simeek's wounds.

Rhin reflex: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21 Rhin manages to mostly dodge out of the way of the Riding Pony.

Blanka's pick goes straight through the Riding Pony; near instantly the riding pony explodes into millions of tiny pieces so all that is left is a collection of dust that settles on the ground. Some of the dust gives a bit of an electrical shock when it is first touched. Crit obviously, but massive damage!

Looking around the room, no other toys are moving. The dresser near Camilla's bed holds a very shiny mirror that is clearly valuable. There also is a collection of matching, fancy sets of small clothing that might have some worth to them. Lastly, there is a hair bow that has been cut in half; last seen in one piece on the talking doll before Simeek sliced her in half.

The group has nearly secured the chamber as requested by Tunnelmaster Miknik, but peering around the open door at the end of the hall reveals some stairs leading upward into the unknown. Light seems to shine through the crack at the bottom of the door. Everyone except Simeek also seems to hear movement upstairs, with Blanka Casa recognizing that it sounds like just one individual.

Being close to healed up, Simeek takes point and heads to the door. He whispers, "You ready" as he reaches for the door.

everyone can be full hp, the group has enough medicine talent and in this case time that rolling isn't necessary

The group heads up towards the door. The steps, covered in dust, creak when stepped on but otherwise cause no harm to the group. No traps are suspected and the door knob is rusted but opens easily.

Unfortunately, Simeek trips as he opens the door that makes quite a bit of noise. He stumbles into a cozy living space with furniture that is almost offensive how nice it looks. Crochet doilies and fluffy sheep dolls litter the room, and there is also an aroma of tea and cookies that fills the air.

"Well, hello there! Have you come to pay Granny a visit on her birthday?" An elderly woman with dark skin and white curls pulled back in a bun is standing across the room in the kitchen. She reaches for a large jar, opens it, and reveals fresh-smelling cinnamon cookies, "It does get lonely here with all my own kids moved out. Now, don't be shy, or I'll have to eat them all myself! Eat myself sick!" She holds the jar out in the direction of the group, her eyes are squinting so hard that they are nearly shut, suggesting she doesn't seem to have the best eye sight.

"Actually, would you kids like to do Granny a favor? I’ll give you all some shiny coins if you do!” The woman smiles beatifically. “A little birdy told me my neighbor Jerren is out at the Grand Bazaar today and won’t be back until tonight. Go into his garden two houses down and get my hedge trimmer back for me, will you? I lent it to him six months ago and he still hasn’t given it back. The nerve of that man. As if he hasn’t got a whole shed full of his own magic tools to use! Just be sure to watch out for the lawn crawfish, dears. I’ve heard they’ve gotten a bit persnickety."

"Ja! It is about time for tea." Doktor Middens shoulders his cross bow and pulls out a once fine silk handkerchief and politely takes two cookies. "It is always an honor for cookies. So it seems you have a delinquent borrower. I think we can help. Ja?" He looks around for approval from he fellow companions.

"yes, please, help yourself! Take two, or three, or more!" She says with a smile as The Doktor accepts the cookies. "But Jerren...Delinquent borrower is one name for him. I'd say he's a cad, is what he is. Stealing an old woman's hedge trimmer. The man is obsessed with his garden, and I should know!" Granny is now looking to the rest of the group and starts holding out the cookie jar to everyone individually.

"Please, please!" she insists to the rest of the group until everyone has had a good share of cookies. "Well then, let's not waste any time. Who knows how long he'll be away. He probably keeps it out in that little round gazebo in his garden, but I can't be sure. I haven't been over there in a long time. The hedge trimmer is a long pole with a spinning blalde on the end to get those really high spots. Powered by magic! My boys brought it for me after I tried to prune the cherry true and broke my hip. Got a real mouthful about that. Anyway, off you go!!"

Heading over to Jerren's house the group finds a nine-foot tall hedge wall that is absolutely covered in leaf-like magenta flowers. Three-inch-long thorns stick out from underneath the petals. It appears the only way into Jerren's garden is find a way through or over the hedge.
