Wow... a 19 misses at level 1? WTF? I did miss the inspire, though. Thanks for the reminder.

From what you've seen already you'd know that the 19 would narrowly miss; and from a different perspective if this were a live session we'd be about 3.75 hours into the session so this is what youd suspect to be the 'final encounter' -- so yeah AC's are a bit high but throwing some debuffs or flanking gets it to a reasonable number

With one lawn crawfish remaining, it stood little chance against the great hookclaw dragons who collectively smashed, pierced, and electrified the creature in a few seconds. As the creature fell to the ground, it instinctively one final slice with it's claws but only caught air in it's grasp.

Leaving the hedge maze and that weird building, the group heads back towards Granny's house. Granny is enthusiastic for you to return, but squints her eyes more than normal to see her hedge trimmer, "Wouldn't you know it! While you were out, my grandson came by to give me a new one! Said the old model was rubbish. You can have it if you want, dearies; maybe one of your parents might like it!" She then pulls out a bag of coins and hands everyone a few gold pieces for your trouble.

Heading back to the Hookclaws; the clan is impressed with all the treasure you returned with. Tunnelmaster Miknik is eager to hear all about it, and when the lawn crawfish are mentioned he quickly sends a group of scouts to go and collect the bodies for a feast in your honor! When told about the set of fancy, matching clothes, those are also retrieved and the group is all asked to wear them in preparation for the feast!

During the celebrations there is much of the treasure from the trove piled behind your seats of honor. Stuffed crocodile, giant rubber duck, granny's head trimmer, and so on all sit behind you as you share your tale in front of the whole clan. This time when recounting the experience with the mighty Dragon, suddenly many lights begin dancing all around the room. Blanka sees Irlini in the corner! True to your word, the Hookclaws are terribly gullible and fall for all her tricks. After some time she shows herself and allows herself to be revered for but a moment before she suddenly vanishes. Everyone erupts in cheers at this surreal experience!

The rest of the feast goes swimmingly with spirits at an all time high. At the conclusion of the feast, Tunnelmaster Miknik speaks up,
"The Hookclaws are smart, and we must recognize our heroes." He pauses to look at each one of you individually, "Each of you have been given the title of 'Highly-Esteemed Hero!'" The hookclaw clan erupts in more cheers!

And that's a wrap! Thank you all for playing. I'll post chronicles in discussion
