with 2 toughness my parry can be 18, making it nearly impossible to hit me with melee weapons if you're a normal dude.

of course hitting me, im super frail so if you do you do alot of damage

sure, but if that is the case, your previous hits, didn't hit me, just this one when you rolled a crit,

anyways: Toughness: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24 (2 degrees i think.... at my previous 0, because your other punches didnt hit me and the explosion was regened, that puts me at -2)

The Black fox grunts, her gut brused, but the wound slowly healing away, not that she needed sight anyways, her eyes closed, the fox-ears on her mask flicked, and she struck with her blades in an all out attack at the man advantage allows her to ignore consealment with melee and ranged attacks, making her ignore the blindness giving you full consealment from her vision loss, and without error- as if she knew exactly where to strike her blades swung just as deadly as before.
sword: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (20) + 15 = 35
sword: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (18) + 15 = 33
(both of those are Crit- imp crit with swords- increased Effect so DC to resist damage is 25 each)

but yeah, she doesnt care if she cant see or hear you, she knows you're there, if she can smell you she can hit you

You can only attack once because you cannot use extra effort again without turning incapacitated. So only one hit to me.
Toughness: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16

1 Degree of failure, phew, I almost got 2 degrees but not quite. Remember, you are Vulnerable now, so your defenses are halved.
Getting quite angry now, and a shallow slash ripped across his shoulder, Shadowmeld strikes out at Black Fox Spirit once again. I forgot again, All-Out-Attack adds +2.

i think you should declare you all out attack BEFORE you go and edit it just because you barely miss
i find this a bit unfair that i see you roll and miss, i go to type up my response, then you edit and "hey, guess i get +2"
because it shouldnt be "oh i all out attack to get advantage because i missed" it should be "i all out attack because i am deserate to hit"

i changed my sheet, because you didnt feel like adding my abilites(which are automatically added to my defenses) to my defenses so i had to go back and do that so the number total is infact the same number, but the type of attack should be stated BEFORE you attack rather than after....


Yeah you can't go back and edit your stuff to change your actions or re-roll. You have to declare what your doing first and live with the consequence. If you want to change you got to ask permission first.

Alright, fine. Just don't change your sheet in the middle, either. You did other stuff, like adding shuriken, and saying you changed your bow to affect corporeal when you didn't.

as the Fox heals from her woundsshe heals to -1 from her regen She flicks an ear and moves her head back to avoid the wild blow, before holding a hand to her face, and her body shifts into Smoke, vanishing from view using her power to go insubstantial, invisible, and concealed from vision and hearing, as for Shuiken, it doesn't effect corporeal, and I added Shuriken before the session


no need to fight, just practice. And my warning goes out to everyone.

By-the-by, we can start once Dr.Smash is finished (no rush!)


Although maybe we should stop practice here. I think everyone got to see if they want to change anything about your characters, and i'll let you edit them after the first Issue.

otherwise she would have just sat back until her wounds healed then reincorporated and attacked again, ill swap some things around, and let you know what i changed after

it's just about as OP as having no parry, and just using 10 toughness and 10 stamina(which makes toughness 20)

or! you can just take Regen 10, and Immortal 10 and boom, if you die you come back after 1 round and heal 1 wound every round

it is only OP when you dont consider what Summon can allow you to do, you can essentally create a super demon that has power level 10 levels of powers, only it cost you only 10 ranks

M&M encourages making powerful characters, Heroes like ours are not normally supposed to fight with each other, hence it seemed overpowered that i was almost impossible to hit, because that's my build, while Villans might just be straight up immune to being hit with slashing weapons

with only 30 ranks in immunity you can be immune to Slashing, Blunt and Peircing weapons


It allowed, And you don't have 18 parry right? that was hypothetical? Either way, it legal.

i do have 18 Parry, but only 2 toughness

you cant hit me but when you do it hurts. of course 5 of the parry is from her mask, and 3 of it is from agl added by the mask. making it only 10 without the mask

I got alot of discounts from applying those bonuses to the mask (plus i can extra effort them for more), but they can also be taken away if someone just spends their turn trying to take the mask off her.

yeah, the mythweavers says 13 but that is parry without my fight ability added to it, with the ability added to it it is 18

I didn't add my fight to it at first because i planned to just keep track of how many points i put into it then add my ability into it whenever i rolled it or used it, but looks like i need to add my Fight to it now....

... i just wanted to keep my Ability separate from my Defenses so i can keep track of Points i used on it better

Just now looking at some of the options... I think a computer, communications, and living space seems essential. Other things that would be nice-to-have are a gym, infirmary, security systems, and maybe a fire-suppression system, though Lightning Bug can make it rain indoors, so that might not be necessary.

Realistic combat training simulator. Concealed. Isolated. Infirmary, security systems, defense systems, computer, communications, living space. Holding cells, power system. Make it Large, if you can. Toughness isn't too important if it's concealed, isolated, and has security systems and defense systems.

Personnel and Grounds would be cool if you had left over points, but not essential. Also, Doc might want a Laboratory and a Workshop.

Just now looking at how much a fighter jet cost you (66 plus features, wow!), you could probably get all that stuff, bump up the Toughness a bit, and get a Hangar and Military Copter. Maybe even a Dock and Yacht, and if you really wanna splurge a Garage and Armored Car. If not, just put leftover points into your character.
And remember, this all cost equipment points, not power points. So every 5 equipment points=1 power point.

That's easy. Make a short post to the gameplay thread. You can then immediately delete the post so the thread won't be cluttered with a useless post, but even if it's deleted, the page will then show up on your campaign feed, and your alias will show up in the Characters page.
