"Did we grab that Wayfinder? Is there anything on it to know which of our agents it was?" Eovar asks while helping the others search, starting with the closest building.
Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13

DM PeteZero |

The wayfinder does not come easily loose from the horse - DC12 Thievery or 10 min to prod it loose.
Mikaela, looking around, that the features of one zombie are rotted and torn. Its clothing, although tattered and dirtied, was nevertheless clearly fine at one time, with a torn ruffled collar and ripped cloak. This zombie shambler was once a human, and his neck and face both show significant damage from some kind of violent strangulation and tearing from teeth.
As Tok'Tok opens the door to the building (A3), he notices a horse cautiously sticking its head around the corner and approaching which clearly is not undead (just taking the same picture).
Building: Empty weapon cases and crates are scattered throughout this bare-bones building. Dust outlines the faint shadows of swords and shields removed from their resting places.
Eovar opens the door = this small house was where rotating Knight of Ozem guards would stay. The bed and table are crusted with a thick layer of dust.

![]() |

As Hornietelle tries to prise the wayfinder free from the horse she asks Mikaela, "See this wayfinder, it's stuck, would your nimble fingers be able to break it free from these bones? I'll look in a building for you whilst you do it?" She continues on and opens the door to the next building and looks inside.

![]() |

Since the group seems to be fanning out, Johann would also approach a building and look inside. If any of the buildings is recognizable as a structure where records would be stored, he will choose that one; otherwise, the closest one not yet investigated.

Keemul tears over, expecting another horse that needs killing. But it only looks that way to Tok'Tok.
"Hey there, fella," he croons. Being much better with crowds than animals, he calls over someone more suited to investigating it. Then he tries getting into the building the horse was near, taking a long way around so as not to spook it.

Eovar has no problems getting the wayfinder out. And you manage to collect some clothing from probably yes, Clement Marten and you might even have his wayfinder.

Stepping out of the apothecary, Johann informs the others: "Some herbs and candles in there, but nothing interesting." He nods toward Eovar. "I shall join you at the inn. Quite some space to search there."

A6 - Outside the building, a painted sign reading “The Flaming Wheel” and decorated with a flaming chariot wheel hangs from one chain, swaying gently in the wind.
A broken circular table and door, part of a makeshift barricade, rest near the entrance of this modest tavern. Other similar tables and accompanying chairs are scattered throughout the area. As he looks around he finds a small corpse—charred, broken, and its features mostly burned away—rests against the pew. The corpse is covered in a layer of fine ash and scraps of charred fabric that seem to be all that remains of the clothing it once wore. Around its neck is a soot-covered chain bearing an ankh.
Keemul finds census records and historical documents kept by the Goldenflame town council. These records detail the history of the town’s inhabitants and notable events in the town’s history, including festivals, feasts, and the like.

Mikaela, realizing that someone had already examined this shop, moved back to help the barbarian search the chapel. It was a big place after all. Turning over the burned body, she said, "Got a goblin here, with an ankh pendant or Sarenrae. Looks like it might be Gibb Potsmasher. Yep, and here's her wayfinder."
Mikaela grabbed the wayfinder and gently removed the ankh necklace from the goblin's body for return to her family.
