FINALLY got out of the house, took the wife and kids out to celebrate Father's Day.
At the one restaurant in town that not 2 days later reported they had not one, but SEVEN workers turn up with Covid.

IZ gonna be a LOOOONG time before I venture out. Again.
So...friend came over to visit during the weekend. Turns out she was sick the week before. I got sick Sunday.
I think I was conscious for about...4?...hours on Monday.
Ugh. Thinking I should get tested. Doing much better now, but if I did have a mild case, I'd like to know.
I was supposed to go to the office for the first time in 3 months Monday. I was very excited. I am now in voluntary (but unhappy) quarantine.
Ah, well.

I dont mind the quarantine that much. It's not like I'm a social butterfly or party animal. (Been doing house-work and catching up on my video must-watch lists!) ;P
What ticks me off is this weekend I was SUPPOSED to drive up to Oklahoma to see my mom and family. -_-
Only good thing is, with the extended (in Louisiana) 'stay in phase 2' I have time so I can always reschedule once I recover. If I have it.
Yeah I’m paranoid. I have a family camping vacation planned for the post 4th week. I need to stay healthy. I so need a vacation

The good news is that after getting in line at 7:30am, at 3pm I was finally able to go in and get tested. ;P
The good-er news is, I appear to be Covid-Free!
Which means this 'Bleah' feeling is just the usual end-of-June-Bleah I always get. ;)
On the good-er-er news, I get to drive 9 hours tomorrow to go see my family in Oklahoma(?) Yay? ;P
(I like the visit, I hate the long drives) :)
Yeah, I'll be on the road in a week to Assachusetts. From there a weekend on the Cape, then a camping trip to New Hampshire, land of tax-free booze!

(If I'm thinking of the right areas? The church I attended as a teen used to have us going everywhere during my high school years. We traveled from one side of the country to the other, doing church teen choir trips, revivals, etc.) :)

I beat ya! I got into line at 10:30, after an hour long drive, and was outta there by 3:30...with..another hour long drive home.
3-5 days for results, though.
I'm nearly better. A little tired, a bit of sinus and coughing, and the darned squeaky voice of doom.

I don’t think we are actually doing anything wrong. We’re people playing a game discussing stuff in the OOC chat, like any other PbP. We’ve done it for years
Oh, no, I don't think there's anything wrong, just worried that posts are going to start being eaten again.
Yeah I’ve gotten back into the CTRL-C habit again. When I’m mathing I end up revising posts several times and I keep getting random ‘you’ve backed up too far’ messages. So yeah, anything complex gets a CTRL-C these days.

As long as you still have your aliases.
(FYI - the picture/avatar change is in "Account Settings" - not the profile. You will get a list of all of your aliases and can "Edit" them, which mostly just lets you change the picture.)
