Kalvin swings hard at the orc! Its a deep cut, but not deep enough to take it completely down. The spell is a nice tough as Pai is safer from the next attack.

But Pai doesn't need it! the trip hits and the orc goes down. Then the next hit is a crit as the windpipe of the orc is smashed by the bo. It does not move.

Mordack points at the orc across the way and freezes him hard. You see chunks fall off as hes instantly freezerburt. He is not well.

The horse steps from its cage and snorts at your group. Its getting ready to rumble

The orc was not well before, but Kosh makes short work of it as the slash hits hard and goes to bone. There is splay, gurgle, and silence as the orc falls.

She looks around the place a bit as Kosh catches his breath.

You listen carefully. There is some noise coming from the north cave. The south cave is quite in the lower pen.

As for the pond, its pure toxic waste. Its will harm you if you spend any serious amount of in it or around it.

You head into the north cave. The bright light from outside is replaced by flickering torchlight in a narrow passageway cut deeply into the hillside. Suddenly, the passage opens into a broad natural cavern containing a series of large tables on the far side of the room. A series of alchemical experiments, most bubbling and frothing as they cook, are arranged atop the work spaces.

Two orks stand at those tables, see you walk in, and begin to grab things...

Kalvin jumps into the front and hits quick cutting the closest orc. It's not deep, but it does hurt!

Pai is not far behind as she lets fly a flurry of steel. One misses but one hits as well. that orc is not happy!

Mordack scurries up to the front and barely hit the orc with some cold. Its cries out in pain from the combined assault.

The orcs respond! the orc closest to Kalvin throws some solid punches with a knuckle dagger at the cleric.

Pai does not mess a round. with two solid hits to the head the orc is not doing well at all.

Mordack finishes off the orc with a solid blast of cold. It hits the ground and chunks fly off the body.

Kosh advances toward the orc and glares. It's not as effective as he hoped. the rest of the group is inspired however!

This area is used primarily for storage of alchemical gear and reagents. Anyone can tell that most of the barrels and crates are quite old, but the gear and equipment in the laboratory is of the same style and make and looks as if it may have once been stored here. It's worth money, to the right person. Maybe not you, but someone. Otherwise it's an empty room. Where to next? Left but north part of left or south part of left?

The northernmost passageway that exits the laboratory ends in a set of stairs that leads up to a massive double door to the west. Made from stout wood and bound with iron, the pair of doors is crudely decorated with a carving of a small rural village that has been set ablaze. Anyone examining the carving can tell it must have been made many years ago and, despite its poor overall artistry, the village bears an unmistakable resemblance to Etran’s Folly. The doors are not locked.
