Welcome, players.
I have purchased and started reviewing 1-32. There's a lot of prep here. Fortunately, Farol stressed the importance of role playing in his original post. Since you all jumped in on that basis, I'm sure that you won't mind if I leave you an empty conference room to chat in in-game, and this OOC space to help us get organized.
There are a large number of possible combinations of story elements, and I'd like to make the game as fresh as possible for you all. To that end please spoiler me what you remember about your previous runs through this scenario. Who was your dignitary, where did you go, what challenges did you face? If you haven't played this one yet, let me know that too.
For this game, with the emphasis on role play, I will not be pushing the pace. I encourage you to interact among yourselves liberally. Also, I urge you not to select a character that you wish to play in the next few months.
I just got slammed with work and will be very busy IRL for the next few weeks. I will try to maintain a two post per day rate for myself, but may not be successful. Hopefully all players can post 5-6 times per week on a roughly daily basis. If you foresee being unable to post for more than two days, please let us know. I will likewise notify you if I foresee an interruption in posting.

Likewise, thanks for running this. And greetings all. I am still in the process of finishing my PC sheet on Paizo (or myself while doing so).
I've run this scenario 3 times
1st was with Embri (a slug of some sorts) and the missions were:
- Restaurant
- Ship - do the round
- Shopping
- Squoxes
I think that was all, but I am not sure
2nd run was with Nuar
- Restaurant
- sqox
- shopping
- Goblins with their robots
3rd run was with a custom Damai envoy's daughter (a different feel when you cater for a teenager)
- Squox
- Ship
- Performance on a stage
- Bar with dancing ?
Just FYI I don't mind playing the same encounters (I don't know how many are there) but I will still try to play them according to my PC

I've played and GMed this a few times but it's always interesting how different GMs do the same scenario. Plus, each of my PCs are different as well so their interactions are different.
Usually it's the shopping, nightlife, restaurant and the station tour when I'm gming but I have done the pet finding as well.

Greetings, all and sundry!
I have not played or run this before.
As to post frequency, I will do my best to post daily. Sometimes I can post twice a day, sometimes it's 24-36 hours between posts.
I'm a pilot, and I fly cargo on international routes. Business is booming for us, so we're flying a lot now. Being on cargo birds means there's no wifi to keep the passengers boxes entertained. I also have to be rested beforehand, and sometimes am so exhausted at the end of a duty day that I just don't have the brain cells to post until after I sleep.
However, sometimes I'm sitting in a city for a couple days on a layover and have too much time on my hands (like today.)
All that being said, if I suspect that I'll be offline more than 24 hours, and especially if the scenario is getting busy with combat, etc., I'll let you know in discussion.

So sorry. Looks like I'm going to have to withdraw.
This character had one more Paizocon game to complete before this game officially started, and to cut to the bottom line - she died. It was a very tough encounter.
Since I don't have another PC ready who hasn't played it, I'll have to leave it. Have fun everyone.

Sorry to hear that, Phaeton. It's tough when a character dies, but I find that risk adds spice to the game. You do have a couple days to stat up a character if you still want to play.

Guys, I'm, still working through the scenario. I had a lot of chores at home this weekend. I will guess that I'll be ready Thursday or Friday. So you have plenty of time to get to know each other.
And Aerondor! Good to see you. I didn't recognize you behind Shokil's alias. You've run a game or two for me and I'm happy to return the favor here.

Thanks - nearly moved me to tears, it was so unexpected. Profile has been updated, new character sheet linked in - couldn't find the same profile pic but it'll do. So this version is ready to go.
Might keep this one as a pbp character for a while as this PC was built for pure RP, not combat. Maybe going on a bug hunt wasn't such a good idea in hindsight.

Sorry for not posting previously I hoped to have some time during the weekend and my family meetup got in the way.

Work is my enemy sometimes. This is just an update so you'll know I haven't abandoned you. I have figured out major portions of the adventure. I want to get it all into google docs before we actually start. Estimated on track for a Thursday start.
I love what you're all doing in the game thread. Great stuff.
I do have a question for Eric. Why isn't this PC named Pangea? :-)
Incidentally I'm near Boston so GMT-5 ish?

Yesterday I was in Japan, today is Korea. I typically bounce around and between NE Asia and the US. I'm rarely in any one city for more than a few days even on my days off. Hence the moniker Nomadical
We fly through Auckland, but I've never had a layover there. It's on my list of places to go hang out on my days off. Maybe later this year during the austral summer.

Long week at work. A couple notes,
1. The promise on expenses is made in the scenario, but there is no mechanism or direction provided for tracking and reimbursing. So ...
2. The 500 credits is my own invention. I played this game with a party of mostly brand new characters and our adventure could have been sub-titled , "How to entertain an instellar dignitary on 30 credits a night." Any of those credits spent on yourselves will come out of your mission pay at the end. You will get no extra mission pay for not spending the 500. You should plan on spending the 500 on the Hammer, and maybe a little more of your own funds.
3. I have really enjoyed the role play and loved Celly's comment about 'if a shirren came through the door.' Please don't stop the inter-character interaction just because I'm here. It is my favorite part of GMimg.
4. I will get around to the questionnaire for reporting information soon.

@GM: No need to apologize. I can relate to having a crazy work schedule. In fact, I needed to get a post in before I go fly today. I'm leaving Seoul in a couple hours, stopping in Shanghai to pick up cargo, and then flying straight to LAX. By the time I get there, I'll have been up 24 hours with just a couple hour nap in the bunk. (Yes, my airplane has crew bunks!) My next post will be after I've slept in LA.
So like I said, no need to apologize.
Apologies again. My home computer has been doing this thing where it's like the cursor is getting hammered at high frequency. I can't drive the mouse, and it eats up the processor so response is unpredictable and slow. A restart usually fixes it for a while, but last night it didn't.
I suspect the touch screen is failing. I also have horizontal bands where the screen is no longer sensitive.
Posting from work today -- a minor no-no. Game post will be brief. I will try my home computer again tonight.
So happy the computer is running well tonight.
I'll let Baila drift into the background until Eric can rejoin us. Farol, if you would, please give Eric another try if we don't hear from him in another day or two.
