GM RePete |

Currently have it placed for just the gargoyle - to get half-elf would minimum have to get the elemental as well
Will post this evening afterwork to move us onward.

With her companion's singing, and the rock thing hampered, Nizeagle manages to land a bite on the beast! Her beak scrapes across it's granite hide...and piercing through!
The cleric fires off a flame at the half-elf in the Dawnflowers name...but fear of scorching her injured companion causes it to go wide.
Kasvot does his best to help the villain see the humor of the situation...but she shrugs him off, frantically looking for an escape.
As the vines reach up, the flying beast manages to shake them off even with his current restrictions from the net. The elemental tries to connect again, but the woman manages to dodge the blow with ease.
"Scarlet! Stop playing around and get me out of here!" she shrieks as she fumbles to cast...something but her concerns break her concentration. "Screw this!" She bumps into the elemental as she takes off down the side alley.

The elemental reminds the half-elf of its power as she turns tail to run. Meanwhile, Nizeagle keeps a chunk of the gargoyle with her.
Knowing her companions, Nizeagle fits her desire to eat more rocks and waits a moment.
The cleric shrieks at the fleeing duo...causing the pair to hesitate a moment before continuing their retreat.
Two bolts of force shoot through the air and slam into the flying statue, cracking it's side.
With the realization he can no longer see the opponents, Arboreal gives chase. His elemental doing it's best to serve the summoner holds back a moment until...

Additionally, I've never really been.." she makes air quotes, "Interogatey." She stares blankly at the conjurer for a bit. "Okay fine. I guess I could talk to her. But you owe me." Do you pay him in like smaller rocks or something?" More poking. "Why do you hate the sun? Do you burn easy? You know they have stuff for that. You don't need to go killing priests 'n stuff." Cenae nods, "A wise thought. In my anxiousness to track this evil, I think I forgot about common sense. It's smart to have them there to witness anything too."
She turns to the guard captain, "Can you come with or do you have some guards you could send with us as we investigate this next lead? We are happy to continue working hand in hand with the local authorities."

"Uh...actually we've got other tasks to handle." replies the guard, looking down at the half-elf. "The main threat is handled, thanks to you, and we'll interrogate her. But, we'd certainly appreciate you lot unraveling the remaining mystery...and the payment will be in full upon completion as promised."
With a nod, her companions gather up the lady and begin dragging her back to the office. Turning to leave, she calls back "Let me know what you find. Thanks!"

She glances back at Dimple suggesting a rest and replies, "I'm fine, plenty of Dawnflower-power left. Plus, I don't want to give anyone she might have reported back to extra time to figure out what happened. I say we strike now."
