Posting Expectations: One post per day Monday through Friday, one post per weekend. Exception: During Encounter Mode, players are only expected to post during their turn.

Absence Policy: During Encounter Mode, players will be botted after 24 hours without a post Monday through Friday, after 48 hours Saturday and Sunday. Please give notice if you will be absent for more than 48 hours. During all modes of play, players will be contacted after 48 hours without a post unless prior notice has been given. After four days without communication, players will be removed from the game. During Society play, for fairness, long absences even with communication may result in removal.

I'm interested. First 2e game ever, but tons of playtime in 1e pbp. While I would like to start with my Alchemist, I am open to playing just about anything the group needs.

OK, now checking in with my character, though I need to update her a bit.

Lusinel is getting GM credit applied, but it will not change her level.

As a reminder, I have run this, so will defer to others when decisions are to be made.

Kazikli has just played Absalom Initiation, but is also still the same level.

I am new to PbP format but I have played most of the scenarios and quests in pfs2. I also GM'ed two scenarios and I am currently finishing running The Fall of Plaquestone. I have done this quest before, on a different character.

My only question is how do people have all their info above their names when they post something? I only have my race, gender, class, and level.

Those fields aren't precluded to just what they ask for (gender, class, etcetera), they can hold anything. So we just input all the above information into one or more of them. As you can see by yours, they're ordered gender, race, class/level.

A minor question. As part of my character description, I put in that I cast Mage Armor as part of my daily prep any time we're out of purely social encounters.

I didn't, however, say so in the gameplay posts. GM's call if I have mage armor up or not at the sea serpent fight start.

Time for Downtime rolls. Here's numbat/Barb's helpful post:

"As a reminder for those new to PFS2, downtime can be spent in several ways. The most common is to attempt to earn income which can be done with Crafting, Performance, or any Lore.

Other options including actually crafting items, and retraining.

As we all are playing level 1 characters, retraining is free and can be done at any time (before playing at 2nd level or above) so it makes no sense to use your downtime for it in this instance.

Crafting an object requires the formula and at least half the price of the item in base materials. You spend four days (2 now and 2 next time) for the minimal crafting aspect, then can choose to spend more time crafting to reduce the price or pay the remaining price to have the item.

Most people have been sticking to Earn Income as their downtime activity.

Also, if any are field commissioned you gain 50% downtime, so you would have 3 days after a quest, 12 days (instead of 8) after a scenario."
