Jeeves briefly looks down to see what made him feel so good all of a sudden and nods his head in thanks, never completely taking his gaze off the giant before him.

Eldric blows race like dancing flames, with one striking home.

Whisper snarls and attacks, but does not draw blood.

Horek's axe slams into his foe three times, taking the behemoth down.

Seltyn keeps alert but sees no new foes. The drums and party noises from the south echo on, drowning out your battle.

Yeesh, those are some terrible attack rolls! Whisper is moving 20' through the giant's reach and so will draw an AoO. If that attack hits her current AC of 24, Horek will use his 'Hunters Trick' of Bolster Companion as an immediate action to give her a +4 to AC (total = 28). If the attack still connects, she will only take half damage. Horek only took a 5' step to get to his current position on the map, so no AoO for him and he can take a full attack action as well. Thanks for the praise on the character build! I actually created this character a looooong time ago for another pbp Against the Giants game that never took off. Was very happy to get the chance to finally see him in action myself!

Also Mazrak, if you can get into the room far enough to touch Horek (doesn't look like you'd take an AoO so far as I can tell), I wouldn't mind some healing! :) Though if you have other plans at the moment no worries, I think I should be OK for the time being unless I take a critical hit or something!

Edit: As Mazrak is Hasted, he can get to Horek. But I am not sure where he can stand and not be in another's space or getting an AoO from a Giant. You may need to position Whisper to allow a gap for Mazrak to get to you in the next round. But as I am having issues determining this with the map; if you see a route in the current round without taking an AoO, please let me know, then Mazrak will move to it and cast a heal on Horek. As to AoO, healing is limited, so we can't afford to give the Giants free attacks.

Mazrak's available healing before the current round, is 3 CSW, 5 CMW, and 5 CLW. And that is if he doesn't have the need to cast another type of spell, like a Hold Person.

Elnaril steps to the side to use Parvo as cover while getting a clear shot at the nearby giant. He then reloads his crossbow.

Light Crossbow: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (14) + 9 = 231d8 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

Parvo continues to try to tear the giantess to shreds.

As the giant goes down in a spray of blood and gore, Horek points at the giant to the east and Whisper darts to engage that one while the plainsman splits away from his companion, assisting Parvo in taking down the other.

Combat Details:

Whisper's Bite Attack (Bull's STR/Haste/Power Attack): 1d20 + 11 + 1 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (2) + 11 + 1 + 2 - 2 = 14 vs Giant 5 (purple)
Bite Damage (Bull's STR/Power Attack): 1d8 + 7 + 2 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 7 + 2 + 4 = 18

CM Attack (Trip - Bull's STR/Power Attack): 1d20 + 12 + 1 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (4) + 12 + 1 + 2 - 2 = 17 vs Giant 5 (purple)

Horek's Greataxe Attack (Favored Enemy/Power Attack/Haste): 1d20 + 13 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 13 + 4 + 1 = 32 vs Giant 6 (red)
Greataxe Damage (Favored Enemy/Power Attack): 1d12 + 7 + 4 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 7 + 4 + 6 = 28

Horek's 2nd Greataxe Attack (Favored Enemy/Power Attack/Haste): 1d20 + 13 + 4 - 2 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 13 + 4 - 2 + 1 = 33 vs Giant 6 (red)
Greataxe Damage (Favored Enemy/Power Attack): 1d12 + 7 + 4 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 7 + 4 + 6 = 24

Horek's 'Haste' Greataxe Attack (Favored Enemy/Power Attack/Haste): 1d20 + 13 + 4 - 2 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 13 + 4 - 2 + 1 = 29 vs Giant 6 (red)
Greataxe Damage (Favored Enemy/Power Attack): 1d12 + 7 + 4 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 7 + 4 + 6 = 18

Whisper will move 15' to engage Giant 5 and hopefully cut off that one from trying to retreat. Standard attack, and the giant gets an AoO against her. However, Horek will use his Hunter's Trick Bolster Companion if she is hit, which is an immediate action that gives her a +4 to AC. If the attack still hits, the damage is halved. Horek will take a 5' step and attack Giant 6 with a full attack. He's also trying to put himself between that giant and the doors to the south. Even though he didn't understand them, he doesn't want them to escape this room, which is why he launched himself inside to begin with.

Current Buffs:
Horek - Haste (+30' movement, +1 to attack rolls & AC/Reflex Saves, extra attack with full attack action)
Whisper - Haste (+30' movement, +1 to attack rolls & AC/Reflex Saves, extra attack with full attack action), Bull's Strength (+4 STR), Mage Armor (+4 AC)

Female Orc

Eldric, you hit twice, but only rolled damage once. I will roll for it

Eldric's fists blaze like shooting stars as they slam into the giant, with Jeeves cutting her up badly from the front. Whisper attempts to attack but misses, as does Mazrak's arrows. Well, Dwarves were never known for archery. The giant swings at Whisper
greatclub AOO: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (4) + 12 = 16 but distracted by the heavy hits taken, misses whisper badly
Elnaril fires his crossbow, striking his target, but the odd beast Parvo misses completely. Horek, however, strikes from behind and ends the giant's resistance totally

Female Orc

Rolling for Eldric
punch: 1d6 + 11 ⇒ (2) + 11 = 13
fire: 2d6 ⇒ (2, 3) = 5

Female Orc

One giant left. The giant panics and attempts to flee. Both Parvo and Horek get attacks of opportunity. Assuming the giant survives, she will open the door to the south to scream for help.

It is still better than a sling. ;)

Horek growls in annoyance as the giant slips past him, headed for the door. The plainsman figures this could turn ugly fast if she manages to get reinforcements and he swings his axe hard, trying to put her down fast.

Greataxe AoO (Favored Enemy/Power Attack/Haste): 1d20 + 13 + 4 - 2 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 13 + 4 - 2 + 1 = 26
Greataxe Damage (Favored Enemy/Power Attack): 1d12 + 7 + 4 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 7 + 4 + 6 = 25
