Roondar Turen*
Init: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12
Roon'dar doesn't speak Orcish, but he and Winter think they look threatening. Roon'dar points at the Orc with the bolo and says "Attack" Then he swings at the same one.

"Orcs!" Jugger bellows as they emerge from the house. "Let's shatter some skulls!" He stomps toward the nearest orc, trying to shove him over.

okey dokey. assuming ben is down near toti and jugger is the one on the edge of torch visibility.
Totiyonce moves up between Winter and the well, hoping to catch the orc with the greataxe within her ring of torchlight. She then fires an arrow at him.
Initiative: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15
Attack - Shortbow: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14
Damage - Shortbow: 1d6 ⇒ 2
not sure on the damage for the bow, but i believe it should be 1d6, not 1d6-1.
edit: looks like it's -1 to damage. which means, next round, she's prolly gonna start singing.
edit 2: house rule. no str penalty.
DM Fflash
I have no token for Ben. Are you not seeing the labels? Dudes near you marked with green dots are the acolytes
Technically it's 1d6-1 for strength, but i house ruled strength penalty away for a bow. It doesn't make sense. If you can pull it back and it has the range, then it has the power
Burning House Round 2
Init: Jugger, Toti, Roondar/Winter, Quen, Orcs, Fire
Jugger charges the orc who sets himself and then at the last minute, grins and lets Jugger run through chuckling and heckling him as he does so.
Inside the room you notice a well-built unconscious and bleeding half orc woman wearing a smith's vest pinnned under a burning beam. Near her is a dwarven woman trying desperately to get it up and off, tears running down her soot-stained face.
Sara HPs: -4
Toti fires an arrow at the orc as he turns catching him in the shoulder and taking the smile off his face. The monstrous humanoid rips it out of his shoulder and roars back at her.
Roondar sends Winter rushing into engage the bolo wielder who leaps back in surprise at the wolf engaging him but drops his bolo in the process. The bite fails to catch more than clothing.
Roondar follows up with the nearest opponent he can reach and with the help of the flank from Jugger slashes the injured orc in the back.
Qu'en fades behind the building and silently and slowly stalks around. (Stealth is half movement)
The orcs roar into action, bloodthirsty and driven by the beating drums.
The greataxe orc spins on Roondar swinging his axe wide with a powerful, and poorly aimed strike that still catches the druid and nearly knocks him off his feat with the strength of the blow.
Power Attack vs Roondar: 1d20 + 5 - 1 ⇒ (14) + 5 - 1 = 18; HIT!;
Damage: 1d12 + 4 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 4 + 3 = 13
The southern orc steps into a flank with his bolo-dropping comrade and attacks Winter with both ends of his double axe, spinning it like a quarterstaff. The agile wolf jumps around and dodges however

To hit: 1d20 + 4 - 2 ⇒ (6) + 4 - 2 = 8; miss
The orc no longer with the bolo pulls out a spiked chain and swings it at Winter as well, taking advantage from the flank, but again the white wolf leaps about and over the chain, snarling as she moved with uncanny grace.
To hit Winter: 1d20 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 5 + 2 = 13; miss
The fire crackles and burns, spreading to an interior wall.
You see the heat crinkle at the half-orc on the ground as the hot beam sears at her skin where it contacts. She will die without help soon. The small dwarf woman is unable to pull the timber off her by herself.
Sara HPs: -6 (fire and bleeding)
Back to Jugger!
Jugger Grimbeard
Jugger snarls as he skids to a stop in the burning house. He spins, fully intending to return to the battle, but then stops dead in his tracks. "Bergi?" he asks aloud, staring at the trapped half-orc. "I'm coming, lass!" He runs over, shoving Kneecapper into a gap beneath the burning beam and heaving with all his strength.
Strength: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22 plus any bonus for lever action?
Totiyonce
Totiyonce lowers her bow, and begins to sing, inspiring courage and strength in all of her allies.
Inspire Courage (Su): A 1st level bard can use his performance to inspire courage in his allies (including himself), bolstering them against fear and improving their combat abilities. To be affected, an ally must be able to perceive the bard’s performance. An affected ally receives a +1 morale bonus on saving throws against charm and fear effects and a +1 competence bonus on attack and weapon damage rolls. At 5th level, and every six bard levels thereafter, this bonus increases by +1, to a maximum of +4 at 17th level. Inspire courage is a mind-affecting ability. inspire courage can use audible or visual components. The bard must choose which component to use when starting his performance.
. . . It's a thick, stomping tune about beating some whiny orc ass.

You still have a standard action

Burning House Round 2
Init: Jugger, Toti, Roondar/Winter, Quen, Orcs, Fire
Once a bolo Orc Will Save: 1d20 - 1 + 5 ⇒ (4) - 1 + 5 = 8
Jugger disappears into the burning building.
Toti sings, providing encouragement to all in the party. Roondar steps back and drinks a potion and then appears paralyzed with indecision about what to do next and misses a couple of key opportunities to engage in the battle. Winter, however, has no such limitations and snaps away, but can't get a grip on anyone.
Qu'en's spell settles on the rear orc and he watches as the hostility drains from its eyes. It speaks to the leader.
The lead guy, in a blood rage, responds in exasperation.
The lead orc wheels on Quen, and follows the opening left by Roondar to engage the rogue, swinging his axe with devastating fury and embedding it in Quen's upper torso.

Round 3
The horc woman sputters awake and looks confused and then relieved. Her relief lasts only a moment as she takes in the fire and then the burning beam settles back on her, causing her to scream in agony.
Sara HPs: 1: healed, end bleeding, resume fire damage
From inside the building you hear a guttural scream of anguish. It is definitely from a female.
Roondar slashes a brutal blow across the orc's throat. The creature sprays arterial blood but with a savage bloodlust keeps its feet and continues to advance waving its great axe violently and menacingly.
Toti ends the display of naked aggression abruptly with an arrow to the eye toppling the orc immediately.
Winter exchanges blows with the double axe orc, but neither draw blood.

"Oi, come on now. Leave the wolf alone. We can work this out amongst comrades. We got some looting to do."

Again, aiming at the nearest standing orc, Totiyonce works in an impromptu lyric for her song, "By Razmir's dark and curlies, boys. I'm a singer, not a fighter!"

Round 4
Jugger hauls back on the beam as the other dwarf moves back to help, clearing enough space for the built horc woman to extract herself and stand up, wounded, burned and fatigued, but stable and moving of her own accord. Wearing a soot stained blacksmith apron, the bald and green skinned woman gets to her senses pretty quickly.
"The fire! Your shop ... we ...", she starts to reach for a nearby shovel, but the dwarf woman stops her grabbing her by the arms.
"Sara, no! It's gone, we have to get out of here!" She begins to pull the larger woman out of the store.
Roondar moves to to engage with Winter unable to set up a flank right away but scores a strong hit along the invaders hamstring. Winter spins into the flank (additional +2) and tries to follow up, but the orc leaps out of the way of the snapping wolf. Toti fires an arrow but it deflects off the spinning melee. (-4 for firing into combat ... another -4 for soft cover)
The orc the steps out of the flank and attacks Roondar with his axe,

Jugger Grimbeard
Jugger looks a moment confused as the half-orc stands. "Not Bergi," he shakes his head. Now hearing the battle outside, his focus returns instantly. "Orc scum!" He hefts Kneecapper and rushes back outside.
As soon as he rounds the corner, he swings at the nearest orc.

Round 5
Jugger rushes out of the building and steps on a flaming piece of the threshhold that crumples under his weight and he staggers missing the orc with his swing.
Toti moves up and hits Roondar with the wand. (Wands are min CL unless otherwise mentioned, so +1 in this case). The druid's eyes flutter open.
The orcs turn and look a the dwarf. The one in the rear says,
and then splits, running off to the north.
Jugger looks askance at the other orc who begins to swing at him, but then has his skull crushed in as the half-orc woman, previously under a burning beam, comes up alongside Jugger and swings a blacksmith's hammer with a head the size of a watermelon at the orc.
To hit: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (4) + 9 = 13
Damage: 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12
END COMBAT! Everyone (who lived) receives 120xp. Toti receives 30 additional xp for the kill
The 2 orcs wear studded leather, carry a greataxe, 4 javelins and an orcish double axe. A bolo lies on the ground
DM Fflash
Sara nods back, leaning heavily against the southern building door frame. The dwarf woman joins her from inside the burning building and together they watch it go up in flames, tears in their eyes.
The half-orc looks at the dwarf woman first, "There's nothing to be done about it now, Astrid. Let's get to safety and we will rebuild once the raid has been repelled."
The dwarf woman gives a curt nod and then steps up to Jugger resolutely pulling a golden necklace decked with moonstones and white agates and holding a large pearl in its center, "This was me ma's, but it will be better off in your hands. I thank you for saving Sara ... she's the only family I have left."
A 1,500 gp necklace with a pearl of power (1st) in the center
Sara looks to the rest of the party and indicates Qu'en, "I'm sorry about your loss and am humbled by your assistance. Is there somewhere safe I can get Astrid."
Jugger Grimbeard
Jugger takes the necklace but looks confused for a few moments. "I'm not takin' yer ma's necklace from ye," he grumbles, looking flushed. His eyes glisten and he takes a hard sniffle. He hands the necklace back to Astrid, awkwardly trying to wipe his eyes with his gauntleted hand.
Roondar Turen*
Roondar points the two back to the southern Barracde "you should be safer back there, or as safe as any of us can be right now."
He also nods as Jugger hands the necklace back. "No lass, you keep that. Now move on and stay safe!"
DM Fflash
"No, you must take it ... I cannot offer you anything else ..." Astrid is nearly in tears as she forces the necklace into first Jugger's hands and now Roondar's as Sara drags her off again.
"Once she is safe, I will return to the fight," Sara assures you as you see them to the barricade.
Everyone can make the perception check that Jugger whiffed on earlier before the fight (page back/scroll up)
Where to from here?

"Shall we head to the next beacon? Or are you two gonna hunt around a little while longer for some soft linens to dry your eyes and wipe your little baby noses." Toti nods toward Astrid, "Honey, I'll take that if it's too womanly for these boys."
Jugger Grimbeard
Perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 1 = 20
Jugger stands a moment as Sara and Astrid depart. He takes in the war-ravaged surroundings, the vivid images of death and destruction. His breathing steadies as his composure returns.
Then, with a grunt, he starts marching towards the next beacon.
Roondar Turen*
Roondar says "We should say some words for Qu'en" He clears his throat "I really didn't know him very well, but he was a sneaky dude, and his life was cut way too short. Hopefully the Earth Mother doesn't reincarnate him as a rodent"
He moves off after Jugger.
