Looks like someone needs to fill the arcane slot
I'm having difficulty getting excited about a core low level wizard or sorcerer
Would a half-orc witch be acceptable with absolutely no slumber hex
I've never played a witch and would much rather spam hexes when I run out of spells than plink away with a crossbow
Sure

Poke Poke, I get the feeling your rogue is a stabby one. Would it step on your toes (or anyone else's) if i played a talky rogue? Investigative journalist type.
Nope. Doesnt bother me if you also play a stabby stabby one either. I thought there was a bard that did that not a rogue. Either way im good.

Description Bradan is a 20 year old Varisian man, lean and weathered from a life spent outdoors. He typically wears worn but well maintained brown buckskin clothes, with stout lamellar leather armor over that. He carries multiple outfits and rotates his outerwear at the weather calls for it. Standing 5’10” and weighing 180 pounds, he carries a beautifully crafted longbow as well as a long anti-cavalry polearm in addition to a simple belt knife and stout club. His gear is meticulously packed and organized, with separate pockets and pouches for the various needs of outdoor living.
Background Growing up in the forest surrounding Fentonville, Bradan has learned how to live off the land from his earliest memories. His parents Dale and Brena have hunted, trapped, and worked as guides for people in the area for decades, and have imparted their knowledge to their son as a matter of course. With the influx of new coin and people, Bradan’s family has flourished, with Dale providing copious amounts of meat and leather to Orctown and Fentonville alike, Brena assisting with teaching the newcomers the local plants and animals, and Bradan himself working as a fletcher, bowyer, and assistant smith to assist with arrow and spearhead fabrication. Recently flush with significant coin, Bradan splurged on himself and kitted up in the best bow and gear he could find (probably a cast off from the heroes and villains who so recently fought over Fentonville), and bade his family goodbye for now. He set his eyes towards the town and headed in to find more adventure, ready to face more danger and gain even greater rewards.

True, forgot about the remnants of that battle.
Still a but recent for me, I think human makes the most sense in his story.
Aggrah the White Witch
Aggrah reporting in. Spells and gear TBD.
@Baldwin please review Aggrahs background as I am asking for some exceptions that make, make sense for the character (mostly flavor)
Aggrah is a White Witch of Pulura and if the campaign somehow makes it that far will be going into the Stargazer prestige class
baldwin the merciful
Everyone needs to pick their starting location for this game:
1. You came with a caravan and it's your first time to Fentonville.
2. You are coming from Orctown
3. You are from Fentonville
4. You are from the local wilderness/farm area.
Anyone choosing the same starting position will know each other.
Aggrah the White Witch
Aggrah will come from the local wilderness. It is possible that she or the Old Crone may have healed Bradan or his parents at some point. Probably wouldn't be their first choice of healing but when in the wild sometimes an Orc Witch Doctors healing is better than nothing.
At the very least Bradan would have heard rumors about the White Witches.
Bradan Finn
Oh certainly. Brena is an herbalist and hedge-witch (not the class, undecided if she's an NPC class, druid, ranger/herbalist, or something similar), so she would certainly know of any magical folks in the area.
Dale hunts, traps, tans, and sells to anyone with coin (or useful barter), so I am sure he and Bradan would have encountered the group from time to time as well.

Calain
Posted Calain's Background earlier.
Was from Fentonville but moved with his Dad to Orc town so be the primary Blacksmiths since the other Fentonville Smith's were more skilled and had all the market.
It paid off since there were no other Smith's in Orctown, however Calain hates living among the pigfaces and is actually moving back to Fentonville today with all his wealth and belongings.
Beorn the Divine
Beorn was delivered in a caravan that was driven by a well known extractor of people who need to vanish. Not that Beorn really paid the man you see, he knew the man did such things and had to leave after lampooning a local noble and kicked out a bald spectacled man with a goatee who was fleeing due to drug production of an odd blue drug.

I only have Mythrox and Grung who have not completed their characters. My plan is to get posting up tomorrow.
Note I've already made a couple posts on the game thread. You can dot the thread. You don't need to do a major post in the game thread yet, I'm going to do something a bit different to start each person.
Bron Rilon
Bron arrived the day before execution day on a small caravan wearing nothing but his dirty armor, dusty weapon, a ragged backpack and the symbol of Iomedae, not a speck of dirt lay on that holy symbol. He came into town after hearing about the undead not to far from town and decided look around for any work in the area.
Bron was born on a farm near a small temple of Iomedae and at a young age snuck off to the temple, after going for about a month he spent his free time to going to the temple. After getting to the age of 17 he decided to leave home (without telling his parents) and dedicate his life to Iemodae where he learnt to be a cleric of Iomedae. After 8 years at the temple he was set off on a pilgrimage to fight evil.

Everyone but Bron and Aggrah have played in one of my games in the past, so they how I GM and what is expected. Here's a quick run down.
Remember the most important rule is COMMUNICATION. If you won't be able to post let us know. If you disappear without a word, I will write you out of the game.
Game Comments, Rules and Expectations:
1. This should be a reasonably fast paced game, so it’s important to check in and post. I would like at least 2 posts per day, per player more posting is welcomed. I tend to post quite a bit. It will not be unusual to get 40-60, (sometimes more) in a day (especially if there is battle going on.). If this seems daunting and you can't keep up, please tell me now because this may not be the game for you.
2. If you have not checked in, I will DMPC your character to move the story forward. This is especially true given the pace that I like to keep with the game. If you can't post for awhile, let me know, so I can DMPC you. I understand that real life happens but communication is important. If we begin battle check in more often, we don’t wait long. I like players to take their own actions, and if possible, I will skip over the player and permit them to post when they get on, or if need be I will DMPC the action. Again, we don’t wait long.
3. GM rolls initiative.
4. I will link a map at the beginning of each round and often an updated map towards the middle of the round. Please tell me the map coordinates for your movement. Otherwise, you run the risk of me moving you and if there is a chance of an AoO, I will take it. Example: Move E17>E16>E15>F14.
5. I, generally, post mid-round updates and end of round summaries.
6. I will fill in some gaps in the story or action when need be. These tend to be for flow of the game.
7. This particular game is a combination of homebrew and published material.
8. I like to have combat, roleplay and character development. Nobody likes to read a bunch of dice rolls, so please add a bit of flavor and spice to your acitons.
9. I don't mind if you post out of turn, especially if you won't be online. I will do my best to fit the action in, or I will fill the gap in a semi-logical manner. With a large group waiting to take an action can bog down the game.
10. I do not use delay/ready actions to switch/swap initiative orders, as that becomes problematic for me, the DM, to track on the boards. I do permit you to hold your action especially if you are waiting some tactical action.
12. Even though there will be a lot of combat, try to be descriptive in your text rather than posting a bunch of dice rolls. A list of dice rolls is mundane and boring to read. Your only limitation is your imagination.
13. Put your melee and range attack and damage dice on your character sheet, this makes it easy to cut and paste into the game thread, if I need to DMPC the character. It is beneficial, if you post 1-3 typical groupings of actions, that your character would normally do, such as: which buff, which attack, power attack and so forth. This is in case it becomes necessary to DMPC your character.
14. Put your vital stats: AC, saves, Init., Perception, Current HP/Total HP, CMB/CMD next to your avatar. This, generally, makes my job easier.
15. Although the players can't use 3PP material in character creation, the GM does not have that same restriction. Be forewarned that I, liberally, use monsters from the Tome of Horrors Complete and my favorite 3PP publishers, Frog God Games, Rite Publishing and Raging Swan Publishing. Expect some unusual monster templates.
16. Please don't rule lawyer me. I've been playing for years, mostly GMing, I know the rules but I do make mistakes especially with all the Pathfinder's tweaks and splat books. I follow the written rules but I'm not hardcore especially if it moves the story along. If I make an error made please point it out and provide a book and page reference or link to the PFSRD.
baldwin the merciful
I posted the game expectations and rules under the Campaign Info thread for future reference.
House Rules
1. I do not retcon actions. This game is designed to move quickly. It becomes problematic for me to redo actions and consequences.
2. A natural "1" on an attack roll is a possible fumble. The player makes a DC10 DEX check, including any ability modifier in the roll. A number below a 10 means you have either dropped your melee weapon or snapped your bow/crossbow string or your thrown weapon was dropped.
3. Roll HPs each level, reroll 1’s.
4. I will occasionally dip into the sanity/madness rules if the situation arises.
5. Just because an item appears in a book, or there is a rule set for an item, does not make it automatically available in the game setting.
I reserve the right to add or modify House rules.
