@Hanako I just read on PG 445 how comparable things are. They did away with rolling off. His flat DC is 21 so he grappled.
Actually, it's probably less than 21. The grapple goes against his Fort DC. Trips go against Reflex DC. In PF2, grapples are better (for a Lv.6 monk), whereas trips were better in PF1 (w/ greater trip + vicious stomp).
I do like roll vs. DC better than opposed rolls. It's practically the same odds, but with only one roll, PC good luck isn't undermined by GM luck and PC bad luck isn't undone by GM luck. So good rolls succeed and bad rolls fail, just as they do vs. AC.
Does anyone know how size categories affect grappling? And also, does Titan Wrestler negate the size penalty for maneuvers vs. larger opponents?
@Hanako You can't grapple anything more than one size category larger than you. There's no penalties for different sizes. So normally the biggest creature you can grapple is Large. If you take Titan Wrestler than that increases to Huge. If you have the Titan Wrestler feat and legendary in Athletics you can grapple Gargantuan creatures, the largest size in the book.

Good Morning everyone thanks for sticking around. I know things have been slow as of late. I think my schedule has settled down. Anyway how has everyone been? Anything awesome going on? For me my son is coming out during Christmas and I am back into half marathon training.

Yeah, we're doing running combat in blocks now right? So just need Jathal's actions so GM can update.
Then I am confused as I posted actions.I did not read it as a new round
So my understanding of block combat is that rounds don't matter. Combat is split up into PC blocks and NPC blocks.
So for this combat we started with Mob, Jathal and Hanako having a PC block without Zano since he rolled lower than the Warg. Then the NPC block where the Warg attacked. And back into the next PC block where we all act again, and which includes Zano now. And then we just keep alternating between NPC and PC blocks until combat finishes.
I did not know we were doing that, Most have missed it. I kept waiting for the GM to move it to the next round honestly.

Since it's not for the long run, I'd rather let it be. I do enjoy Hanako as an actress, but I've been removed from the role too long and already found another PbP to fill the gap.
