As the purple agent rises, Azrael and Ischell make him wish he hadn't, both knocking him silly...

Phosdlon fires a couple of arrows at yellow, the first of which nails the goon in his arm...

Ischell steps back and tries to trip the three goons in his front...two of the Aspis dodge the attempt, but yellow can't quite maintain his feet and goes prone...

And to add insult to injury, Ridley compounds yellow's predicament with an accurate bomb toss, staggering him...

Zaarah cannot cast brand defensively and looses the spell!

Poh's circus-like maneuver through his student's legs puts the Vanara in optimal position for his powerful punch to render the yellow Aspis goon unconscious. Seeing the drunken master take out yellow, Azrael focuses both attacks on purple...while his first attempt whizzes by its target's ear, the second kukri slashes across the Aspis agent's throat, dropping him like a wet blanket...

One of the Lizardfolk workers comes slowly forward, speaking in Common...

Zaarah activates her flight hex and then casts Vanish.

She flies into the air and goes into the cavern to see how the terrain looks like and if she sees any enemies.

60 ft flight speed. GM, Effectively she has now 9 move actions to return in a loop of 540 ft so one way around 270 ft. It would be great if you could tell what she would be able to uncover.

Azrael relaxes his stance as he cleans his weapons, following by proceeding to sheath his second talon and pick up his shield.

"These Aspis deserve what's coming to them. They do not deserve to walk these lands."

Yellow is technically not dead, are we going to heal him and talk to him? Azrael personally rather him dead than talk but the player would like to know if there's something to learn from the Aspis.

Phosdlon checks over the unconscious man, and deems that he will indeed live...left untended, the Elf figures the Aspis agent will probably regain consciousness in a few hours, maybe 4 or 5...

As Poh asks the Lizardfolk about the fate of the sole Aspis survivor, they all look angry at the goon's body and hiss, but only Essviss speaks...

"I agree with Talon-Man...they take egss, make us slaves...they evil, have no honor...all Aspis should die!"

Zaarah's aerial reconnaissance reveals a bit more of the chamber they briefly saw as they went to encounter the Aspis. This roughly semi-circular chamber contains a number of bedrolls clinging to the shore, as far away from the water as possible, though a number of them are still muddy and moist. These bedrolls are obviously of human make, rather than the typical mud and reed nests of lizardfolk.

She finds the chamber empty of any living creatures, neither Aspis nor Lizardfolk. Among the bedrolls, she sees various backpacks, gear, and a small chest...

The chamber has a wide watery passage leading further north into the Muckmouth...

”It’s clean... no sign of more Aspis. Let’s check their belongings and then follow the path?!“

She looks at the lizardfolk.

”I assume your eggs are not here right?“

Ischell moves into the larger chamber, finding it just as Zaarah described. He doesn't discover any traps and notices that the small chest appears to be unlocked...

The ever agile Poh moves unseen as he awaits the others...as Phosdlon moves towards the drunken sensei, both can see into the next chamber...

The relatively dry land of this cavern is cluttered with the artifacts of lizardfolk daily life. Small cooking fires, mats, turtle shell bowls, wood utensils, stone knives, and game pieces crafted from rock and shell litter this area. A large group of lizardfolk go about their daily routine, though in a skittish and tense manner.

"Ridley, you are brilliant! The picture room ... " Zaarah says and then with a smile looks at Essviss.

Zaarah tries to find out as much as possible about what awaits them at the end of the passage and directions to the picture room.

Zaarah then takes Ridley's arm.

"Ridley! When all this is over you have to tell me about all the fiend hunting you've done! I heard you been involved in a lot of these Pathfinder Society 'Specials'!" she says with a giggle.

The Pathfinders can distinctly see about a dozen lizardfolk, most of which are in the NW portion of the chamber...

Upon seeing the Pathfinders enter the cavern, the lizardfolk buzz with hushed activity. Zaarah and Poh (assuming he follows) hear hissing whispers from among them, questioning in Draconic whether the newcomers are members of the Aspis Consortium or some new form of “smooth-skin” enemy. While their response to the Pathfinders is tense, it is not violent.

A female lizardfolk, dressed in tribal gear that would appear to designate leadership, advances towards the Pathfinders, speaking in Draconic...

"You do not wear the sssnake sssign of the Asspisss...who are you and why have you come to the Muckmouth?"

Zaarah and Poh may make Diplomacy checks...

Zaarah nods at the Chief and shakes her hand!

”Let us see if we really have to do so much killing! Maybe they just give up?!? Team, I will again do some reconnaissance!“

When the group is near the picture room Zaarah again activates her flight hex and then casts Vanish.

She flies into the air and goes into the picture room to see how the terrain looks like and if she sees any enemies.

Repeat: 60 ft flight speed. GM, Effectively she has now 9 move actions to return in a loop of 540 ft so one way around 270 ft. It would be great if you could tell what she would be able to uncover.

Zaarah, while the picture room lies in this direction, there is another chamber/cavern area between it and the one you're currently in...I'll describe it first and you can decide what you want to do from there...

Zaarah does her invisible flying reconnaissance thing again, checking out the adjoining chamber to the east...

A small waterfall drums over several protruding stones before crashing into a large pool. A strange, pulsating light emanating from a nearby cave mouth fills this pool with a vivid and intense rainbow of colors. Torn nets litter the water. Parts of the netting are still attached to the shore, but most have been torn off, and now circle the pool in the current created by the waterfall.

Zaarah thinks that this place is the hatchery that the Muckmouths have mentioned previously. The door-sized cave mouth from which the rainbow reflects into the pool is located in the southern wall of the chamber; she is reasonably sure this is the entry into the 'forbidden picture room.'

Zaarah doesn't see any creatures in the hatchery...

As the Pathfinders enter the hatchery on their way to the 'picture' room, two arrows come flying, in different directions, from beyond the pool, one at Azrael, and one at Ridley...

Longbow (Azrael): 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (15) + 10 = 25
Damage: 2d6 ⇒ (6, 5) = 11

...one arrow strikes Ridley hard in his left shoulder...while the other arrow appears to strike Azrael as well...

I'm guessing Azrael gets another chance to do his superman dodging arrow thing here :)

While they didn't see Zaarah during her recon, she didn't see them either...
