This is my recruitment thread for a run of SFS Scenario 1-05, The First Mandate, to commence the sooner of when I have six players or April 1, 2019 (assuming a minimum table of 3).
Game Expectations
I ask for a posting rate of 1-2 times per day during the business week and at least once over the weekend, though I realize (and expect) that real life can get in the way of fun at times and that not all players will be able to meet that pace. I also expect folks to occassionally be unavailable for a period of time. If I know that I will be unavailable for some reason for more than 24 hours (or 48 over a weekend), I will post such. I request and expect all players to do the same.
I will bot players who do not post anything within a 24 hour period (or over a weekend) and will request each player have botting instructions in place before the end of the first briefing.
Play-Style
This scenario focuses heavy on role-play, but expect things to move quickly. I will likely use GM rolls for Initiative, Perception, and a number of other checks.

Welcome, Hobb Ben'gal! You may be clairvoyant as I was just posting another teaser on the Recruitment thread over at Flaxseed station hoping to get a few more agents for this scenario!
We have our table minimum of 3 players for this to be a reportable organized play event. That being said, I am still hopeful that we may drum up a couple more players before the planned start time.
The minimum number of PCs is 4, however, so a party of 3 must choose one of the pregen characters to accompany the other PCs on the mission. For more info about organized play requirements, please be sure to check out the Starfinder Society Roleplaying Guild Guide, the link to which can be found on this webpage. There is also a very handy Welcome to Starfinder Boon there, too, that you may want to grab for any "701" PCs!
The Starfinder Society Roleplaying Guild Guide also has rules for character creation in organized play characters, which need to be followed for play of a Starfinder Society reportable scenario, like this one. Which means, PCs are limited to races found in the Core Rule Book (unless you have a special boon that makes additional races available) and PCs must follow the official point buy system, which means (for instance) there can be no vesk with a Strength score below 12).
If you have any questions, feel free to post here or, better yet, post them over at Flaxseed Station where others are more likely to see (and benefit from) the posted answers to your questions and where the answers are likely to be from gamers more knowledgeable than I.

Based on Feriac's day job, I'm guessing we've got 2 mechanics.
If no one else shows up, I'm likely to roll with my Kasathan envoy and suggest that we bring the Vesk soldier or Kasatha solarian pregen. In which case don't forget some healing serums when you buy gear.
If someone shows up with a diplomacy minded PC, I'll definitely roll with my human soldier.
