So these opponents are not the most dangerous opponents you've ever faced, but they can do a lot of damage! I'd advise you use the aid token for Timely Inspiration (+2 to hit and damage for 3 rounds). With a tiny bit of luck, you'll get another aid token before the next combat encounter!

Cloudia taps Mao on the shoulder and gives him bull's strength. Then, screwing up her courage, she steps out from behind Mao and moves to a better position for a color spray.

I normally would ask a reroll for such a decision, as a miss might result in you getting Coup de Graced, but I'll let that slide
