"Most distinguished, DV8, you are being given a taste of how we Starfinders travel" announces Lightfoot as he gives the robot a tour of the science lab and stations of the Pegasus-class ship. "And, thanks to our fine pilot, you have also been treated to some of the ship's maneuverability and featured capabilities."

That's a pretty good roll... Shares spoiler. Team feel free to add in any flavor or sites you want.
As the team boards the Pegasus, Soryn shows DV8 to captain's seat. "Best seat on the ship, make yourself comfortable."
Leaving the dock, Soryn takes the ship on a leisurely tour around the station covering each site on the teams agenda. At each point, he asks DV8 what views it wants and when it's done viewing. Soryn saves the Armada and the Master of Stars for a big finish, slowly drifting and rolling and allowing DV8 every possible view of the ships. Once DV8 is fully satisfied, Soryn winds down by moving to open space and letting loose with the ship. A few rolls and fancy tricks at high speeds before offering DV8 a few moments to pilot the ship (with help) and a few shot at drifting debris.
"And that DV8 is Absalom Station, the Armada, the Master of Stars, and a Pegasus-class starship," Soryn grins and gives the team a wink as he gently guides the ship into the dock.
DV8 takes it all in as you expertly pilot the ship. "That was amazing friend Soryn. I did not know all of the things you showed me, and you handled this ship so well. All protocols followed. Most excellent."
You'll see on a later newscast that a Periphery Star cruise "liner" was went out of control during a tour, and the passengers were beset by some kind of gremlins.

![]() |

Aw, gremlins... Not sure if we chose well or not... :)
"You're too kind DV8, thank you. I'm glad we were able to provide you with such a unique perspective of the station and the Starfinders." Soryn gives the diplomat a polite bow. "So, that leaves shopping for souvenirs. Is there anything in particular you'd like to buy DV8? Soryn uses his comm to call for transportation.

![]() |
"This fine station has much to offer. A Starfinder t-shirt, perhaps? Or a pin? ?" Lightfoot suggests. "I understand, DV8, that some consider such items to be quite the boon."
I see what you did there
"I do have a list, friend Lightfoot." DV8 passes a rather lengthy list of items over. "But they are offered at multiple places at similar prices. I am afraid your culture's methods of distribution are a mystery to me."

![]() |

Soryn looks over DV8's shopping list...
Culture/DC18: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26
Using telepathy, he shares his insights regarding the list with the team. Open spoiler for the team.
"I think we should go through the list by the shops that less crowded. That way you can take your time and enjoy your shopping. Find what you really want. What do you think team? DV8?"

![]() |
DV8 replies "I remember the night life. Crowds don't seem to be compatible with me just yet. Thankfully, I have you to help me with these things."
"It might be best if I let you do the talking and purchase items on my behalf, but I do need to go along and make sure the items are adequate."

![]() |

Soryn gives DV8 a nod, "I wouldn't imagine going without you. Let's get started." Soryn calls up a ride to one of the calmer, quieter shops on DV8's list.
I think we're all still here... *Peers into the interweb*

everyone on the map please
number of packages: 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6 Six, six packages, ah, ah, ah. ahhhh sorry, been a long day
I'll let you guys figure out who is carrying what, and then we shall begin
After a good bit of shopping (mostly for things like Starfinder and Absalom Station T-shirts in varying immense, squarish sizes....you think one would fit a fridge...) you've settle down by some park benches to get your bearings before heading back.
"It has been so good of you to help me with my shopping, and help me manage the packages." DV8 says.
Each package is 1 bulk and takes a hand to manage.

![]() |

Soryn looks over the packages, "I can carry two. I think we can split out the packages, we've got six more hands and four more to carry." Using telepathy with the team, Since DV8 sees to attract trouble, one of our more capable intimidators may want to keep a free hand. Just in case...
I think we should keep one capable fighter with free hands if at all possible... This is so a set up.
After waiting for everyone to choose their packages, "Alright DV8, let's get this back to your quarters. I hope you've enjoyed yourself."

![]() |

Lightfoot takes two packages, placing one in his cheek pouch and tucking a second under his arm. In light of his ally's warning, and having experienced violence on the Station before, the ysoki keeps his free hand next to his blade and follows closely to the robot dignitary.
Token placed on map.

![]() |

Great use of cheek pouch Rozz. Do they have to be hand (or mouth) carried, could we stow them in a backpack?

![]() |

So so so sorry, had a stressful few weeks.
Edith snaps out of her daze, and waddles towards the rest of the group, taking two packages - one in each flipper - and reconvenes.

A couple of mall rats appear to be approaching with intent in their eyes

Cora: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 1 = 13
mall rats: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20
Order:
BOLD = acting now
ITALICS = on deck
Mall Rats
Rozicheep
Soryn
Edith
Cora
DV8 seems flustered by the sudden ambush "I am sure they are just looking to rob us, try to not kill them. You can't rehabilitate dead criminals"
One mall rat pulls out a grenade and throws it at Soryn and Edith
Grenade toss: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20
HITS DC 14 Fort save or be staggered for a round
The other mall rat attempts trip DV8 with their taclash
Trip: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21
DV8 doesn't seem to budge and the mall rat shakes its taclash free

Soryn places one package on the ground, and draws his Arc Pistol. Using his thumb to confirm it's set to stun, "Sorry for this inconvience DV8. That's why stun settings were invented." Soryn gives a grin and beings readying to fire.
Assuming putting things down gently and drawing a weapon take my actions.

" Forego further offense and submit yourselves to Station authorities for you will find no profit in your continued attack." warns Lightfoot, as he draws his blade. A humming sound accompanies the sword's unsheathed appearance.
Guarded Step, Readied action
Dueling sword damage (NL): 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
Add Crit Damage, Dueling sword damage (NL): 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7

"Tsk tsk, dear me! That's no way to treat a new friend. I suppose I'll have to teach you your manners in the way my gran taught me!"
Guarded step between DV8 and a mall rat and attack nonlethally with an unarmed strike, using my natural reach.
Attack Roll v KAC: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21
Unarmed Damage, NL: 1d3 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
Now, say you're sorry!

![]() |
Well, one is about to have a very bad day
Edith smacks the one rat - doing some nonlethal.
Mall Rats
Rozicheep
Soryn
Edith
Cora
The same Mall Rat goes to takes a swing at Edith and is dropped by Rozicheep.
The other Mall Rat makes a bee-line for the package Soryn sat down and picks it up.
With resulting AOO

![]() |

"That does not belong to you." states Lightfoot, as he moves to cut off the thief's escape route.
And provoking an AOO
The ysoki then delivers a blow by way of his blade.
Melee attack (dueling sword, tactical with merciful fusion seal) : 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16
Dueling sword damage (NL): 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8

Soryn levels his Arc Pistol, "I suggest you put down the boxes slowly, and then make some serious life path choices VERY quickly." As the mall rat looks up, Soryn flips in place and fires as mall rat follow his motion instead of watching his sidearm.
Provokes AOO
Trick Attack/Acro: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (11) + 12 = 23 DC = 20 + CR
Attack/EAC/Nonlethal: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11 Flat footed if Trick worked
Damage/E/NL: 1d6 + 1d4 ⇒ (1) + (2) = 3
"Surrender is always an option."

![]() |

Edith clutches the packages in her hands tightly, adjusts her dentures with a slightly disturbing motion of her cheeks, and speaks with a much more authoritative tone than usual. "Drop the package before I drop you."
Intimidate check to demoralize.
Intimidate: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (8) + 8 = 16 DC = higher of (10 + Intimidate bonus) OR (15 + 1.5x CR)
Ooh. Not sure if that'll work.
Taking on an imposing posture that had not been seen by the usually affable morlamaw yet today, Edith glares down at the mall rat. "By decree of the Order of the Nail, and the judgment invested in me thereof... drop the package and surrender. I will not ask a second time."

Once you have escorted Dv8 on his errands four, you return them for their scheduled meeting with Chiskisk. "Please stay my friends while we discuss" which happens largely through telepathy, so the conversation isn't overheard.
After a few minutes of the pair silently gesturing to each other, Chiskisk produces an actual document.
DV8 turns to the party and says, "Would you do me the honor of signing this agreement as witness to Counselmember Chiskisk and mine signing of this"
"Pens are funny things" DV8 says as they sign the document. Chiskisk signs it as well, and then gestures for you to sign in the witness section.

![]() |

Sorn steps up and signs with gusto, "DV8, it has been an honor and a pleasure but most importantly it has been fun. I hope you enjoyed your visit as much as we did."

![]() |

With her usual affable smile returned, Edith throws her flippers in the air with delight. "Ah! Wonderful! Let's see, pen clicky goes like that... what a contraption, and I admire the legal work!" She exclaims, giving the contract a quick once-over.
"A pleasure to work with all of you. Here, have some butterscotches."
