Perhaps, I am just over-thinking this. I'll second the vote for the theater.

It'll take you a few hours to get to the Theatorium, once you get there, you can see they are busy. It's everything the reports said it would be, all the moving parts, changeable seating, and an incredible audo system.

DV8 looks at the commotion "Would you be kind and arrange a meeting for me with Jedodah? I'd rather use an intermediary, in case he is too busy."

"It would please me most greatly to make arrangements for you to meet" Lightfoot offers.

The ysoki enters the theater, looking for a theater hand who can point him to Jebodah's dressing room.

"If you would be so kind, I am a member body the Starfinder Society and serving as host of a dignitary of considerable import. Were it not too much trouble, the dignitary would very much like an opportunity to meet with you for, at least, a short time. He is a fan of yours and it would, no doubt, please him to no end. And such a short audience would help our organization as well." Lightfoot requests.

Liberty's Edge

Troll 1-19 1-32

"Oh this is just what I needed today, thank you so much!" Jebodah seems very sincere in this.

“Welcome, right this way,” the spry gnome ushers the group through a set of doors and into a large round theatre with plush seats. On the stage, a troupe of masked actors look up in surprise as guests enter during their rehearsal.

“Not now, you lot,” Jebodah cries to the actors, waving his hands dismissively. “Out! Out! I have something NEW here!”

As the actors file out the stage door, Jebodah moves to a large booth containing a series of levers and dials. He waves into the booth and begins to pull levers and flip switches.

With a whir of machinery the entire room begins to reconfigure itself. The
seats retract into slots in the floor, and the stage folds up and slides into the wall.

A series of stadium-like bleachers extrudes from the corners, slowly building up seating for several hundred people. The floor seems to grow a carpet of thick padding as the room finishes its rearrangement into an arena-like space.

“Now,” he continues, addressing the dignitary. “Just what sort of art did you wish to demonstrate? I assure you, if you impress me, I can launch your career in show business!”

Unreadable as ever, DV8 says:"I will need access to your audio system. I wish to perform music for you."

As they are setting up there is small crowd of onlookers coming in to the theater, actors, stagehands, and the like to see what is going on.

"Great, my test audience is here, I hope you don't mind Ambassador?" says Jebodah

DV8 replies "No Jebodah, this is just what I wanted"

Ok, so here are the player mechanics for this.

DC 17 Bluff, Diplomacy or Intimidate to drum up support in the crowd:

You succeed, post something that sounds successful
You can use this skill again to influence the crowd but at 3 harder DC

DC 17 Culture, Life Science, Mysticism or Physical Science to bring up a related fact of the performance:

You succeed, post something that sounds successful
You can use this skill again to influence the crowd but at 3 harder DC

DC 17 Perception, Profession, Sense Motive, or Sleight of Hand to note point out something related to the performance or to subtly assist it:

Each PC can do this up to 3 times. A skill can only be used once unless you succeed, and there are notes in the success. RP this one out all of you please.

Ladies and gentle-beings, Lightfoot announces after taking the stage, It is both an honor and a privilege to introduce you all to the musical talents of the one and only, DV8. A dignitary from a distant world, one I hear tell is both abundant both with natural wonders and links to antiquity, this being has been offered the run of all of Absalom Station, yet has chosen to spend their time presently with you—sharing other-worldly melodies and instrumental skill unheard of by Pact World audiences!”

Mysticism: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (5) + 10 = 15
Cora welcomes a few of the rubberneckers to come and take a seat and listen properly. "You know, the walls of this hall have been enchanted to provide better acoustics for a musical performance such as this one." One of the stagehands seems skeptical and asks a technical question about her claim, and Cora finds herself tongue-tied. Maybe she should have checked details of the venue before she started speaking.

Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (9) + 9 = 18

Cora extricates herself from the conversation, embarrassed at her gaffe, and notices an android lingering near the door, as if they might flee any second but would like to come in and join the others. I don't know what kind of music DV8 is planning, but maybe an android would have a better appreciation for it? With this thought in mind, she goes to greet the android and encourage them to come in. "Please, I'm sure our guest will be able to perform its best with a good audience. You can stay for a little bit, can't you?" The android shyly agrees and takes a seat at the back.

Sense Motive: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (8) + 8 = 16

Cora looks around for another vict- er, audience member who she can make feel at home and bolster DV8's confidence. However, the others seem to have this in hand and she can't find anyone else to talk to. She takes her own seat and prepares to listen.

Troll 1-19 1-32

DV8 approaches the stage and looks around.

"A pardon for the delay...." They tilt their head to the left and then his voice comes out across the sound system a bit distorted. "Ah, connected" They boom.

The sound staff scurry and make adjustments at Soryn's guidance. During this Cora gently persuades an extra spectator to come in and have a listen, and snares an additional passerby, a wandering gnome to come in as well. Sorus negotiates seating for the add-ons. During this time Morlagrammaw is confusing a child about what is really going on here.

After a few moments, the sound people give a thumbs up to DV8, who awkwardly returns the gesture. "One thumb....oh, much better"
as their voice clearly comes across the sound system. Next the lights begin to shift and swirl. Morlagrammaw saves a startled shirren who may or may not have been choking on some candy, but clearly is now.

"This is an early art form of my people." but there is no explanation of who is people are. As the words fade out of the air, low tones, and rapid high tones start to fade in from the background, almost seemingly coming out of empty air. "Control is assumed, please enjoy" and at that the lights spring into action forming the very words said. Tones and rhythms fill the room, the lights moving in sequence.

As the music swells, Rozicheep's blessing is caught by a mic and is swept into and mixed into the music, being looped in over and over again. Soryn and Morlagrammaw apply the right amount of prodding as the assembled audience stands up and dances along. I mean, they are her cousin after all.

And after the music fades, Rozicheep is heard humming slightly off key.

"I do hope you enjoyed it"

And the audience applauds....

A dingy staircase leads down to an open doorway.

Beyond, the club is hardly illuminated at all, the other patrons appearing

DV8 looks over the facility "And music. I have not encountered this kind bef-" as they walk into one of the locals, a human, causing him to spill his drink all over himself.

"Hey, watch where you are going Toaster. This WAS an expensive suit, so now I have to take this out on you in one way or another. How are you gonna make it up to me?" He balls up his fists.

I had not heard of them either - I'm glad Lightfoot here has his ear to the ground. If you don't mind, one of us could call them to find out if they accept cancellations with a refund."

She claps her front paws together. "Maybe there's another way? The Starfinder Society has some ships; perhaps we could borrow one for a short time to fly out and take a quick suit-protected space walk looking down on the station. Would something like that do the job? We'd have to get permission first, of course."

I'm not sure if this works, just throwing out an idea.

You have someone you can check with on the ship idea

I mean, you are on a mission for a Forum member, Chiskisk

Soryn uses his comm to contact Chiskisk, to see if it's possible to request a ship for DV8 to 'tour' the exterior of the station. Preferable something with 'Luxary' in it's name. Maybe a guide to talk about the station too.

Diplomacy: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24

"Let's see if we can't arrange something a little more posh for you DV8," Soryn continues to grin, "A trip that's more suited to a dignitary."

Chiskisk, will come back over the comm. "I can arrange some time on one of the Pegasus for you...do you have a qualified pilot?"

"Yes sir, I can handle it. Especially a site seeing tour. Any chance you have a tour guide we could bring on too?"

I have Pilot +9, what's everyone else?

Soryn's comm chimes with an incoming message

"Access codes for a Pegasus sent. Please give the Ambassador my regards."

So tell me how you are going to do this

Do we need to fill starship roles like combat?

Here's my thought, we build a site list from the tour DV8 booked. Do an external fly-by of each major section of the station, the fleet dock, and anything else fun. DV8 can sit in the captains chair for the best view, though not in that role. Then maybe we move out of any flight paths, and let DV8 steer for a minute or three and maybe let him fire a laser and some debris. Team thoughts, suggestions or comments?

Soryn looks over the tour agenda that DV8 had booked, to make sure and include each site listed. "Anyone have any thoughts on other sites that would be interesting to see, DV8 is there anything special you want to see?" He begins to stroll leisurely to the dock as the team comes up with a flight plan. As they walk Soryn uses his telepathy (excluding DV8) discuss theirs plans... sharing the above

"May I humbly suggest that a view of the Master of Stars be included," Lightfoot suggests. "Though, the vessel is still undergoing extensive repairs, as I witnessed myself not long ago during my own Commencement with the Society--a momentous event within my own life that gave rise to a fine adventure of its own, which I would be delighted to share, should you so wish to hear it--the Master of Stars nevertheless strikes a most impressive image. It both at once underscores the possibilities of Starfinder ingenuity and achievement as well as the great need for assistance and aid as the Society rebuilds itself--with the assistance of generous and skilled persons like you, DV8--following the tragic losses brought on by the events of the Scoured Stars Incident."

Soryn's plan sounds good, particularly if DV8 does not express any particular points of interest.

DV8 perks up at the mention of a Starfinder ship (was he...sulking?) AND the Master of Stars.

"Yes, I would like to see the Armada, specifically the Master of Stars. Chiskisk has told me so much about it."

They seem almost..friendly?

Pilot/DC 16: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (15) + 9 = 24

That's a pretty good roll... Shares spoiler. Team feel free to add in any flavor or sites you want.

As the team boards the Pegasus, Soryn shows DV8 to captain's seat. "Best seat on the ship, make yourself comfortable."

Leaving the dock, Soryn takes the ship on a leisurely tour around the station covering each site on the teams agenda. At each point, he asks DV8 what views it wants and when it's done viewing. Soryn saves the Armada and the Master of Stars for a big finish, slowly drifting and rolling and allowing DV8 every possible view of the ships. Once DV8 is fully satisfied, Soryn winds down by moving to open space and letting loose with the ship. A few rolls and fancy tricks at high speeds before offering DV8 a few moments to pilot the ship (with help) and a few shot at drifting debris.

"And that DV8 is Absalom Station, the Armada, the Master of Stars, and a Pegasus-class starship," Soryn grins and gives the team a wink as he gently guides the ship into the dock.
