Sara stabs the gnome with her blade as she continues to inspire the others. Capricia attempts attacking the cultists near her but misses with her swing. Rossana launches a bolt at the one cultist closest to Caspian but she misses as the bolt lodges itself into one of the nearby crates. Otavio finishes off the gnome and moves toward the gray-skinned man. Bimble unleashes a spray of vibrant colors over the two cultists near Caspian, though the one seems unaffected already being blinded.

Will: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (20) - 1 = 19

The other one manages to close his eyes in time to avoid the blast and appears to be no worse off. Caspian manages to crawl away from the grease just as the stink cloud is dissipating.

The one initiate on Capricia attacks her again while the previously blinded one seems to regain his sight and moves to help the gray-skinned man. The other one, previously near Caspian moves up to assist in attacking Capricia.

Capricia: 1d20 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 3 + 1 = 8
Damage: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

All of them manage to miss though. The gray-skinned man steps away from Otavio casting another spell, this time directed at Otavio.

DC15 Will save or drop prone and start laughing uncontrollably for 4 rounds.

To the gray skinned man, though loudly enough for all "You have lost. Your people are falling left and right and my poet friend here is about to..." looking alarmed over to Otavio she'll whisper "are you all right, why are you giggling?" So concerned is she that she might have stabbed her own foot instead of the cultist in front of her.

Caspian stands unsteadily and attempts to look threatening.

"Hehe." It starts with a chuckle, but as soon as the first laugh drifts past his lips, the floodgates open. "Haha! Ohhh, Sara ... hold me ... who-ha-ha!"

Like that, Otavio falls to the ground and the man's body convulses with every wave of laughter.

Preparing her shot, Rossana suddenly notices two of the party having gone out of sight. Sara's voice still carries over the crates, but then trails off worryingly. We shouldn't be splitting up! Her worry carries into the bolt as it sails way past her target.

Standard: Shoot at the one to the right of Capricia...badly.

Crossbow: 1d20 + 6 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 6 + 1 + 1 = 10

Capricia raises one eyebrow speculatively when she hears Otavio chuckle and ask Sara to hold him, but she tries not to let her fanciful thoughts distract her from the task at hand. Changing the angle of her attack, she again slashes at a cultist, this time targeting the fellow to her north.

While Capricia slashes one cultist, Bimble tries to daze the other! Daze Will DC 14.

Sara attempts to stab the target of all her threats but is distracted by Otavio as he falls to the ground laughing. Capricia manages to slice into the one cultists but he stays on his feet for now. Rossana reloads and lets another bolt fly toward the other cultist near Capricia but it misses as well.

Will: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (19) - 1 = 18

Bimble attempts to daze the cultist Rossana just shot at but the man shakes off the effects of the spell. Caspian manages to stand up still feeling nauseous but the effects seem to be wearing off.

The gray-skinned man tells the other cultist "Get behind her, so we can show her what falling really looks like!"

Acrobatics: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 22

The cultist nods and tumbles past Sara to get on the opposite side of her as the gray-skinned man steps down to take the cultists place and they work together to attack her.

Attack: 1d20 + 3 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 3 + 1 + 2 = 7
Damage: 1d4 + 2 + 1d6 ⇒ (4) + 2 + (3) = 9
Attack: 1d20 + 6 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 6 + 1 + 2 = 17
Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7

While the cultist missed the gray-skinned man slices into Sara with his sickle.

Reflex: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21

The one cultist who Bimble just attempted to daze steps into the grease to attack him, managing to stay on his feet.

Attack: 1d20 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 3 + 1 = 14
Damage: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3

He manages to stab Bimble with his dagger for a small wound. The other one near Capricia stabs at her again.

His injuries are too much though and he can't manage to hit her.

Capricia dodges her injured foe's attack and strikes back...pretty hard!

Assuming that drops the wounded cultist, Capricia will also take a 5-foot step to her east.

Seeing Capricia cut down another of her assailants, Rossana decides to check on their laughing duo. Cutting around the crates as she reloads her crossbow, Rossana comes up short as she notices the fighting on the other side.

Move: Moving toward Sara and Otavio.

Oh this isn't good the brown haired baker thinks as she is easily surrounded. Her flesh is cut open bringing a pained cry to her lips. Holding her side, she wants to run, but she can't leave her helplessly giggling friend.

Gathering all the authority, scorn, and power of her voice, she looks at the cultist lackey and says "No matter what else, You Will Die Tonight." letting her natural magic infuse with it as it hits his ears.

The laughter comes to an end as Otavio processes the joke and comes to the sad realization that, in the end, it wasn't all that funny to begin with. What had come over him?!

Caspian moves slowly towards Sara as his stomach finally settles down.

My new HP is 23. I think Roll 20 still has my 2nd level HP.

Realizing he's traveled way too far ahead, Bimble steps back from the combat, trying once more to daze the cultist now pursuing him!

Sara says some harsh words that seem to physically wound the man even though there aren't any visible wounds. Capricia cuts down the cultists that she has been fighting with. Rossana moves up as she reloads to help Sara and Otavio. Otavio somehow manages to stop his hysterical laughing but still finds himself on the ground.

Will: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (11) - 1 = 10

Bimble steps back as he casts his spell again at the one cultists. This time it seems to work as the man stands there. Caspian finally feels better as he makes his way over to Sara and Otavio to help.

The gray-skinned man and the cultist continue their efforts to put an end to Sara while she is in a bad position.

As Sara makes sure to defend herself against the cultist who had just stabbed her, she leaves herself open to the other man who cuts her leaving a small wound.

Capricia turns her attention--and blade--to the last cultist standing near her. Unfortunately, she appears to be tiring.

"You stopped laughing!" she exclaims as Otavio quietens down, looking down at her friend with a smile, but distracting herself a bit too much "Ouch, flipping hells, Stop that" she yelps as another blade slices into her. She swings her rapier at the lackey, accurate but weak.

With Caspian coming as backup, Rossana fire a bolt at one of the cultist harrying Sara to hopefully distract him for a moment.

Finally recovered, Caspian applies his rapier as he flanks the man flanking Sara. Sadly he is still not at his best and cannot place the blow correctly.

Sorry about how bad I've sucked so far!

Seeing that Sara is in trouble, Otavio loses any and all reason to laugh. He lifts up his buckler into a defensive position and gets up amidst a torrent of thrusts and blows.

Std action: total defense
Move action: stand up (provokes AoOs)
Current AC: 25. Temp hp: 4.

"We have the upper hand!" As Capricia deals with the threats around him, Bimble is free to advance behind the protection of his allies. Plying his magics once more, he then dazes the enemy rogue!

Sara stabs the cultists but only leaves a scratch. Capricia and Rossana both attack their respective targets but they both miss. Otavio cautiously makes his way to his feet.

Even with his precautions the two men both land significant blows on Otavio, leaving behind deep wounds.

Bimble makes his way over behind the others casting a spell that dazes the cultist who had just stabbed into Otavio. Caspian tries to assist Sara but misses his swing as well.

Seeing more join the fight the gray-skinned man takes a step back and casts a spell as a pool of grease forms under Sara, Otavio and his own companion.

The cultists grins as he manages to stay on his feet and tries to stab Sara again.

Damage: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

The other cultists having seen the damage Capricia can do decides to go help his companions forcing Capricia to make her way through the grease.

Acrobatics: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (18) + 7 = 25

Avoiding leaving himself open to attack as he tumbles away he joins the other cultist in attacking Sara.

Attack: 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 3 + 2 = 12

Luckily for Sara, he misses.

Capricia easily steps through the area of the grease spell and rejoins the fray, targeting the gray-skinned man. And misses. Badly. Again.

Wincing a bit at the blows Otavio takes, Rossana raises her crossbow and fires again. Shoot straight. Shoot straight, Rossana chides herself as the melee gets larger and larger.

Barely holding on Sara decides to...

Caspian finally shakes off the lingering effects of the poison and manages a reasonably accurate blow.

Continuing to use his parlor tricks, Bimble tries to distract the mind of the opposing spellcaster!

If Sara is still up she'll attack the one between her and Caspian

Sara slips and then splats in the gunky slick mess, but still lashes out at her attackers, just their ankles instead of their meaty bits.

-4 to the above, and the poor lass is prone.

Otavio had 4 temp hp, so he's at 11/25 ;D

Otavio stumbles about and launches a feeble blow at one of the two manic goons that are upon him. "S-some help here, please!"

Attack: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10
Damage: 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11

Even as Sara slips on the grease she slices into the cultist between her and Caspian, as she does she passes out as her wounds become too much and she begins to bleed out. Capricia misses her attack against the gray-skinned man who just gives her a wide smile. Rossana takes aim at the cultists but misses as she is cautious to avoid hitting any of her friends.

Otavio also falls prone to the grease causing him to miss his swing.

Bimble casts his spell at the gray-skinned man but it doesn't appear to have any effect. Luckily Caspian joins the fight and helps put down the the cultist he was flanking.

The gray-skinned man calls out to the last cultist "Let's cut this b%#+$ down then we'll focus on the others." The cultist nods as they both step up away from the grease and attack Capricia.

Deciding that Mr. Gray is likely planning to sacrifice his last minion to make his own escape, Capricia takes another cut at the leader.

Sara slips into a sloppy dream of butter covered scones filled with raspberry jam that's starting to ooze out the side.

Otavio slips and slides, but no matter how much he moves, the sellsword poet doesn't manage to move a foot from where he started.

These dice rolls are getting to me.

As the man resists his magics, Bimble just continues to try and daze Mr. Gray! Will DC14.

Caspian too moves to give MR Gray a taste of his own medicine!

Move to flank him with Capricia if possible.

Sara-Con DC10: 1d20 + 1 - 1 ⇒ (20) + 1 - 1 = 20

Sara lays on the floor, it seems that she is breathing steady and not bleeding but definitely unconscious. Capricia lands a well placed blow on the gray-skinned man, cutting deeply into him, but he still appears more than capable to continue fighting on.

Rosanna-Attack: 1d20 + 6 + 1 - 4 ⇒ (3) + 6 + 1 - 4 = 6
Damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9

Rosanna steps to the side and shoots another bolt from her crossbow but it goes wide and flies off somewhere into the warehouse. Otavio still struggles to stand in the grease under his feet.

Will: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19
Acrobatics-Caspaian: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23

The gray skinned man shakes off Bimbles spell once again as Caspian manages to make his way through the grease and joins Capricia by attacking the remaining cultist. He swings wide though and misses his attack.

The gray skinned man nudges the cultist and says "Keep them busy!" As he withdraws from the fight and runs up the stairs further north in the warehouse. The cultists strikes out at Capricia.

Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14
Damage: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6

Missing he steps back to keep the boxes to one side, and give himself better positioning.

"Translation: 'Die here in vain while I make my escape, expendable minion!'" Capricia snarls at the man still attacking her, a moment before slashing hard with her falcata at the man's throat.

Rossana moves forward as she pulls out her new wand, ready to assist Sara.

Caspian strikes at the cultist again and then turns to follow the Gray Man.

Otavio manages to get up onto one knee but then starts to wonder if the magical grease could be used for some sort of alcoholic jelly. Before he completes the thought, he finds himself nosediving right back into the slippery stuff.

With Sara still unconcious on the floor, Capricia cuts down the last cultists in the groups way as she beings to chase after the gray-skinned man. Rossana moves up to Sara and pulls out a wand while Otavio continues to struggle in the grease that he can't seem to stand up from. Bimble watches as Otavio struggles in the grease, not willing to try his luck at getting through. With the cultist down Caspian moves after the fleeing leader, brushing past Capricia to start up the stairs. Further ahead Caspian can hear the man speaking arcane words similar to before.

Crouching down, Rossana presses the tip of the wand against Sara's wounds, slowing knitting them back together.

Bimble tries to work his way to the window or door where he can apparently see the gray skinned man once more. If it's possible, he again tries to daze the enemy!

I seem to have line of sight to him, so move and Daze. But if that passageway should be blocked, Bimble will just try to get to that door.

A miracle occurs when Otavio finally manages to get up and somehow shimmies out of the patch of magical grease! "Hey, look! I did it, I did it!"

Otavio should be at 11/34, because he had 4 temp hp :D I'm just going to repeat it, haha, because it might matter and I need to do everything I can to stack things my way what with these dice rolls!

Sara's eye flutter open, giving a weary smile to Rossana, "Did we win?" she'll pull herself up, taking in all that is happening.
