華子: Hanako
Hanako has been trying to arrange, with Miss Werntz, for Naysa to find employment as a nurse so she can adopt Maeve (and afford to).
Whatever the rest of the party feels about that, we know a nurse.
Kilarra Dimir
I'm all for not having to clean up your vomit
Piotr Tataru
What vomit?!? Piotr is suffering from being eaten by a huge mouth and still recovering from ghoul disease, but THERE IS NO VOMIT!
Kilarra Dimir
Oh I'm sorry, I meant decaying flesh! Giant pus explosions!
Piotr Tataru
Much better :) Something might have been impregnated in Piotr's belly, so you might have to give outer horror birth, Nurse Dimir.
Kilarra Dimir
If you're impregnated, I'm sure I don't have to do anything. You'll automatically give birth by internal C-section.
華子: Hanako
Wait a minute… if this is all about being a tortured crusader, then Kilarra absolutely *should* spend the night with Hanako. I guarantee she will find the experience torturous.
If Naysa is the nurse, she should bring Maeve. The kid’ll love it… other than the part where Hanako is lying there all unconscious and pale-skinned and stinking of mushrooms.
華子: Hanako

Werntz to Hanako: “Pfft. Whaddaya need a nurse for? The Cleric of the Death Goddess Is right next door! Er... um... I mean, yeah, nurse. Naysa’s local, huh? Ehh... can get her too. Either way.”
Piotr Tataru
Yes!
華子: Hanako
Guys apologies - work has been full s#&@, and my energy gets drained away. Can one treat two patients at once with Heal? If so, Garrosh can tend to both Hanako and Piotr, I think.
I used to play party healer a lot, and I believe multiple long-term care patients are possible.
(Six patients! —second paragraph under “Provide Long-Term Care”)That said, with Naysa being asked to come, Garrosh should be able to do the heal checks either way.
(In my head, it’s Garrosh who sees the sheets cover Hanako, though I guess I won’t know for certain until you post.)
華子: Hanako
FAMILIAR
• ???FEATS
• Lv.1: Point Blank Shot (Fox Shape, Weapon Finesse)
• Lv.3: Deadly Aim
• Lv.5: Improved Familiar
Piotr Tataru
Your familiar is a hole?
華子: Hanako
The familiar will stop being an a-hole and reveal itself. I just want someone whose PC is awake to see it to post first.
(I did enjoy having it do something to the timing of Piotr’s snore though.)
華子: Hanako
Your familiar is a hole?
So there’s no confusion, I’ll answer seriously. The familiar left a hole in the bedsheet. It’s roughly the size of the eye-holes cut out for a Charlie Brown Halloween costume. (Just one hole, not two or more.)
Garrosh Saurfang
Guys I am unable to log into Paizo on my PC... it seems only the phone session which is already running works. But phone posting is horrible, so... I will wait until the Paizo site is working properly.
華子: Hanako
I see that Paizo Rat every now and then. I only post by phone/iPad myself, so I don’t even see the current PC issue.
Hope it gets resolved soon.
I don’t know if Garrosh would attempt to talk to the now-revealed familiar, but RP’ing a nonverbal fairy is kinda fun. Her INT is low, so at least her messages should be simple enough to RP by gesture.
Baldhart the Warrior-Fairy
Glad I can edit profile by phone now. I addition to adjusting Hanako’s CON, I’ll try to keep track of which ‘giants’ Baldhart knows by name.
Known Giants:
Hanako = Goddess
Winter = Ladyfinger
Piotr Tataru
Lovely Lovely Sleep!
Kilarra Dimir
Did you take the lesser restoration into your calculation?
華子: Hanako
Yes. (Or DING! and glow green, if you prefer.)
Poison!: -8
Scroll restore (Rolled 1): -7
Winter restore (Rolled 3): -4
Long term care: -2 (I think)
華子: Hanako
Hopefully it’s clear Baldhart is still clothed in what little she wore at fairy size.
She and her gear all scaled from diminutive to medium, I just picture the mauler archetype as distorted.
—oh, and she’s still winged. And not to spoil further surprises, but she can fly in battle form! (I wasn’t expecting that.)
華子: Hanako
Assume tall Baldhart said the Chewbaccan equivalent to “ding” when responding to Garrosh.
Anyway, I *think* gear size-change works in both directions. In at least one of the many Baldhart PM’s (which poor Mort has been receiving and responding to since May), I received confirmation that gear enlarges. My current post(s) are my way of testing whether gear also reduces.
_____
Oh, and unless someone else replies to Naysa (which is fine), I might suggest we all meet at Binter’s, since Baldhart has to grow and get measured there… or we can just go to New Chapel. I trust whatever we do, we have a mission today regarding the endangered (or possibly already-dead) Omari.
GM Mort
I seem to have been bitten by the paizo bug. Only my phone loads my paizo account at the moment.
Long term care heals 2 points of ability damage.
GM Mort
Sorry about yesterday. I had a stomachache after lunch(could be a result of me overtraining by running 24.95 km though technically I have run longer before), or something I ate, but I spent the rest of the day curled up into a ball >.<
Piotr Tataru
Sorry to hear that Mort, I hate stomach issues.
華子: Hanako
@Garrosh, despite my IC response, OoC I think the GM is trying to cut me a break. Baldhart, without armor, has 14 AC. (…same number as her HP!)
The in-game reason the fairy can get mithril and we can’t:
Reason to get over the standard town budget is because Baldhart is diminutive so she just has the materials for that. But not other full sized mithril armors
Don’t forget our normal-sized, wingless characters can find armor, and a 4K armor would be a marginal improvement of 1 or 2 AC at best, whereas it’s another 6(?) AC for Baldhart. There isn’t a mundane armor she can wear instead.
None of this changes the fact that we just plain don’t have 4K, but I trust the GM knows that and this is going somewhere.
GM Mort
Not really that bad since familiar bond at level 5-6 gives +3 Nat armor, so we're still looking at 17 ac unarmoured. Worst case scenario there's always mage armor.
Honestly I didn't really check how much gps you guys had but for non proficient creatures and trying to fit them into armor yeah mithril is the way to go. Otherwise it's masterwork studded leather.
Ideally mithril breastplate of comfort. Hmm...and when you start putting it for non humanoids, which Baldhart thankfully isn't, the Costs go even higher.

I was counting the +3.
Diminutive: +3 DEX, +4 size, +3 nat’l = 20 AC
Medium: +1 DEX, +3 nat’l
So the MW studded leather is +3, right?
Piotr Tataru
Piotr has mage armor as a spell to cast on Ann. Right now it is only three hours per casting but he wouldn't mind casting it on Baldhart as well.
GM Mort
And this is just entirely OOC - ACP isn't really a big deal when it comes to skill checks, since if you really need to make the skill check, there's magic i.e potions of fly/spider climb for getting up walls, potions of touch of the sea if you need to swim. Besides in this party there will always be some clunky arse who won't be able to make those checks...aka those wearing heavy armor and not caring too much about it.
MW studded leather is +3. And oops, it appears GM maths fail >.<

wear under the armor to prevent chaffing
Without going into detail, I was once in my early 20s. LARPing was a thing I did. I played a hell of a barbarian, and had the physique to look the part in leather armor and no shirt.
But I am older now. And if I could risk the space-time continuum to go back to 23-year-old me and ask him a question, it would be “Put a shirt on under your armor, you f+~+ing idiot!”, which isn’t a question.
GM Mort
Some marathon runners apparently have to use nipple tape before they run marathons...so I have some idea where its coming from and I've definitely gotten chafed quite some as well while running. Bottle bag chafe...undergarments chafe...shorts chafe (yeah if I seriously run I'll be in my compression 3/4 pants, thanks), ah those little things here and there.
Garrosh Saurfang
Just imagine that - cold weather + leather armor without any undergarment. Eeeesh!
華子: Hanako

Thanks for that, but I’ll take the +3 armor so you don’t eat through spells as quickly.
What Baldhart could use, if Kilarra doesn’t mind, is Red Destiny.
Kilarra Dimir
Well I interpret Red Destiny to be a Ragathiel sacred weapon, so I'm not exactly keen on giving it to a non-worshipper. I did give you the mwk rapier, I know it's not magic, but the d8 is nice.
--------------
Here in Canada we don't need nipple tape. Our nipples fell off after the first winter.
--------------
I don't know if Kilarra'll get there, but I'd like for her to be in adamantine full plate. Her AC is never going to be very good, between rage and cleave, but man I love that sight of a fully armoured tank clanking forward like an unstoppable juggernaut.
Piotr Tataru
Piotr has saving shield and now bodyguard. Whoever is next to him will be ACed up (a bit at least). He is also planned to be a tank.
GM Mort

I have no idea how people cosplay in winter. Some of those outfits are rather skimpy.
Kilarra Dimir
Yeah I mixed up pathfinder and 5e again. They've got d8's
華子: Hanako

If we’re going to check on Melissen while waiting for the armor, I should probably take you up on this offer as a one-time thing.
Baldhart can only grow once more today, but the casting is there just in case. Otherwise, she’s a scout with 24AC, which isn’t so bad. She has constant detect good/evil, so if we encounter evil people/monsters, she might be aware of them.
@Mort, so far everyone is non-evil, I assume. Any PCs with an aura other than faint good? What about NPCs so far? Any moderate good or no aura? I guess no aura could simply mean “below level 5.” I actually don’t know whether there’d be an aura for a good Lv.5+ cleric with neutral deity.
Kilarra Dimir
I count as moderate right now, and next level it'll be strong
Piotr Tataru
Piotr is chaotic evil, he just hides it behind his love of food.
kidding
Kilarra Dimir
Clerics with TN deities technically radiate an aura of neutrality, but most detection spells can't see it.
Clerics radiate the aura of their deity's alignment, not their own. So a TN cleric who worships a NG deity would radiate an aura of Good.
GM Mort
Random fun thing:
The Rock breaks down his own gate
Me on reaction to that: Why didn't he climb over instead? I'd definitely have tried the climb over part.
