Don't know about the withdraw move portion but the regular round of running it says I can move 4 times my movement (20') so 80' per round and for a number of rounds equal to my Con, so for 12 rounds if needed. So if all clear ahead to me, I'll keep running.

I'll also yell ahead at Turngut, Don't get too far ahead of me Turngut! and a quick yell back, Run if you get too many of them, don't make a fruitless stand!, then grumbling to herself, Never split the party...never split the party!

I'll run with my sword and shield and then drop both to draw my bow and silver arrows when I think I have a target on the flying creatures. Don't want to leave my weapon and shield too far behind.

The orange vampire spawn flies to the side and attempts the bite Poppo but the halfling dodges out of the way. The green spawn goes fro the phantom but misses as well. The grey spawn misses Bobie but the magenta is able to dig its fang into the old man.

Bobie attempts to finish off the wounded magenta spawn but swings wide with his unwieldy morningstar. Beatrip slams once into the green spawn splitting it clean in half.

Turngut you can just barely make out as both of the vampire brides swoop down and dig their teeth into the orc Dholl. He howls in pain and looks weakly back at the brides.

So, is Turngut on the bridge? If so, he's going to double move to get closer.

Stepping out of the dark tower, Turngu blinks his eyes in the piercing bright light dancing off of the snow. Then, hearing the Orc cry out an Orcish oath, he returns the cry with a howl of his own. No!! You come and get Turngut. Turngut smash your babies. Turngut smash your friends. Come and get Turngut and see if you get smashed too! He yells as he dashes across the bridge.

Yeah I'd say its a straight shot you'll have exactly two squares in between you and the bride. And don't forget by running you'll lose your dex bonus to AC.

All three of your allies make meager attempts at attacking the vampire brides and can't seem to land any hits. Taco Tuesdays! Bobie says with a wild look in his old tired eyes as he misses again with his morning star. Beatrip however slams twice into the grey spawn and kills it.

You watch the red vampire bride five foot step closer to the dwarf and easily just bites out the jugular of the orc Dholl Kel. She then attempts to claw attacks and two wing attacks on the dwarven man but is only able to hit with one of her wings. The blue vampire bride goes for the young handsome chap who is able to skillfully block all except the bite attack from the bride. Your orcish ally has fallen but the human and dwarf are still upright!

As he bolts across the bridge, Turngut watches as Dholl's blood sprays into the crisp air. Even though he didn't know the man, Turngut felt a connection through their bond of Orc strength and battle. Turngut's eyes glaze over with the all-too familiar look as any rational thought drains from him and he is left only with his rage.
He rushes at Red and leaps, slamming his knee into Red midair.

Nalia runs desperately to try to get into combat. Turngut charges and strikes the red vampire bride but doesn't quite get a critical hit on her, he notices that not all of his damage goes through.

The red vampire bride does another full round attack on the Thraduik but the dwarf is able to stumble away from a large number of her attacks but isnt able to avoid one of her claws and wings 11 Damage. Desmore Barrin is on a roll dodging the now agitated vampire brides attacks.

Nalia debates drawing her bow and shooting from across the bridge, but knows her expertise lies in her sword arm, the favored weapon of her patron Malphas. So she sprints across the bridge, stopping just short of the battle, preparing her attack.

Me attacks aren't doing a thing! Thraduik Brune says as he goes into a total defense. The orc on the ground begins to breath more steady Stabilized. Desmore Barrin continues to attack but the vampire bride is just able to swat the attack away. Bobie and Beatrip both double move off of the stairs.

Poppo and Bobie continue their desperate race to regroup with allies.

So welcome back Jon! You havent missed a whole lot you guys are currently still in the fight with the vampire brides/vampire spawn. So the vampire spawn were essentially swarming everyone. A bit of miscommunication led to some people retreating down the stairs and and some people not. The vampire brides decided to go kill the people who accompanied you to set up a camp they got down there quickly took down your orcish ally. You, Poppo, and Beatrip held off all the vampire spawn and killed all of them. Nalia and Turngut got down to the bridge. You and Poppo are also sprinting to the bridge but are a little behind.

The vampire brides pay no mind to the heroes coming up behind them and continue their onslaught on your allies. The red vampire bride can only stab the dwarf with one of her wings to his total defense 7 Damage. Desmore Barrin continues to dodge the brides attacks but gets caught with a wild claw 8 Damage.

Woman! Watch out! Big, ugh. Big hurting! Ask big god for help NOW!. With that Turngut grabs the bride by the hair, pulling her head down and then jabs the sword up through her skull (hopefully killing it??)

The blue and red vampire bride both step into a flank. The red bride claws, bites, and wing attacks the unconscious orc who stops breathing. The blue bride with all five attacks tears Desmore Barrin apart ripping his head from his body and tossing it over the side of the bridge. Both give and evil grin to Nalia and Turngut.

As if in slow motion, Turngut watches as the vile hag spins away towards Dholl and deals the orc the death blows. Her movement wrenches the sword from his grasp as it remains lodged in the undead's skull. After killing the orc, she looks back and grins evilly, the alchemical silver hissing and sputtering against her flesh where the sword juts out from her face.
Still in shock and acting on impulse, Turngut grabs the vampire by the back of the head with both hands and rams it down as he thrusts his knee into the waiting sword hilt.

You watch as the red vampire bride steps toward the dwarf and goes to grapple the stout watchmen, perhaps to hold him hostage, a bargaining chip? But she lets her guard down as she approaches him and despite Dholl's axe not being made of silver Thraduik is able to slash the head off of the devious vampire bride. The other vampire bride cries out in rage and lashes out at Poppo delivering a bite, two claws, and one wing to the halfling bringing him to an inch of unconscious Think you should be at 0HP. She then sends her second wing at Nalia 3 Damage

Despite his wanting to protect Poppo he is unable to hit with his attack. Beatrip runs up to the remaining vampire bride missing with her first attack but grabs the hair the white hair of the vampire bride and tears the head off of the undead. Both of the vampire brides fade into a grey dust and get swept away with the wind.

You glance around at the mess before you. What was once an athletic young handsome man is now a headless carcass. A massive pool of blood has formed around Dholl and Desmore. Thraduik who also looks to be heavily injured sits down against the bridges railing clutching Dholl's axe. He stares at the bodies of the two now dead Ice Fang Rangers.

Seeing Turngut weeping over Poppo, the blood rushing from his body as well, I reach my hands out to soothe his wounds as well.

With that, she pulls out the healing wand and walks up to Brune and taps him on his shoulder. CLW wand: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2. I'm sorry we couldn't hold those creatures up there. When they fled to attack you we couldn't get to you in time to save your friends. I'm deeply sorry for their loss and please know their sacrifice for your town won't be forgotten.

With a practiced scan of the party heal check: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19, she turns to Turngut and Poppo and taps them both on the tops of their heads. CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6 CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7. With that, I'm officially out of healing. I think it's time to head home....she says, as she hangs her head.

Turngut stumbles and falls the the ground in a heap. Although he assumes Poppo is dead, he doesn't have any energy to weep for his friend. Nalia's healing knits his wounds back together, but the post-rage exhaustion causes him to remain lying on the ground for a few minutes.

Once he's able to stand, he silently gathers up the body of Dhall and readies the return to town. Turngut tired. No more fighting today.

Thanks Nalia, this place is a nightmare. Do you think we should stay here and hold the bridge rather than return to town? Poppo mentions as he walks over and retrieves his boarding axe.

We can stay and hold the bridge, hoping we don't get attacked. Heal 8 per night. I'd rather not blow my healing potion I have. That would get us partially healed, then could maybe explore that last area we were attacked in. Maybe we'd find some healing but I wouldn't hold my breath, the evil GM is surely out to kill us. I think he's tired of the campaign and trying to off us!
