Hey, getting some weird plugin error when I try to import the herobuilder download for the pdf export. Anyone else have trouble with this?

Whew! That was a tough fight! There were more than a few times that I thought we were goners! But now -- level 5 and loot!!!

As far as what we just recovered, anyone want to claim? I cannot use the bastard sword and the +2 intelligence ioun stone would be just...silly for Turngut to take.
I could take the mithril breastplate. It has a +1 AC over my current +1 lamellar leather armor and the ACP is the same (-1). However, it just doesn't seem right for a brawler to wear a clunky breastplate (even if mithril).

After this fight, Turngut would like to purchase a pair of alchemical silver brass knuckles. If available, a pair of punching daggers or butterfly swords would be nice as well. For armor, I'd like to see if he can get some armor spikes fitted to his armor and (a long shot) get the lamellar leather made from darkleaf.

That's my shopping list! :)

anyone ever play with the groom and leadership feats?
Would love to take craft magical weapon but the sacred summons feat is to good right now.

My son, Justin, plays a paladin who took the leadership feat in the Rise of the Runelords AP that I’m GMing. Having an NPC who is only 2 levels lower than the party STINKS for the GM. Overpowered feat. Take it!! I haven’t seen the groom feat in play.
Edit: 7th level required for Leadership.

the groom is the early feat you can switch to leadership at lvl 7. 1 groom level 1 and stays 2 lvls lower fighter, bard or hunter.

Jon... I understand you like pets dinosaurs, platypus, ghosts, and humans. But I am not allowing you or anyone else take feats or abilities that grant you any form of pet! I let you have your ghost without to much of a fuss so be happy with the pet you have because if you ask to have another pet there WILL be consequences. Also I believe that if you take a level of cleric Beatrip does not gain any HP that is unless you take some feat that allows it.

Lol I was wondering how long it was going to take you to reply and squash that. Already rolled up with sacred summons. Just waiting on your rolls cause mine suck as always.

I do have the phantom ally feat which gives me 4 levels outside of spiritualist that go to the phantom. So i would appreciate a roll for her. 2 more levels as a spiritualist and I get tendrils in combat!!

I'd rather keep the bone armor for now, so no on the breastplate for me. Part of me would like to keep the magical bastard sword but it's an exotic weapon so would either have to add exotic weapon prof. or use it as two handed weapon to be able to use. Malphas is a longsword person so think I might do better to stay with my longsword as main weapon. Could sell it when we get to town to help with peoples want lists?

Think I'm mostly ready to go as well.

What new abilities did everyone get? Also, this is a feat level. What did you all take?
I took Brawler 4. Nothing glamorous, but a lot of increased fighting ability. +1 to BAB, unarmed strikes go from d6 to d8. For feat, I took Weaponf Focus (unarmed strike). Not only gives Turngut an additional +1 to hit, but also +1 for disarm, sunder and trip attempts with unarmed strike. I also get Knockout Punch for Brawler 4. Cant wait to try it!!

lots of summoning stuff. got summon 1 and 2 now with "it came from beyond" which augments one summon and then i took bone fist which :

The bones of your targets’ joints grow thick and sharp, protruding painfully through the skin at the knuckles, elbows, shoulders, spine, and knees. The targets each gain a +1 bonus to natural armor and a +2 bonus on damage rolls with natural weapons, and they are treated as having armor spikes, with which they are proficient.
and thats 1 creature per level and 1 min per level. So a lvl 2 summons with +2's for all stats and a further +2 of damage and beatrip will get scarier. Would turngut benefit from this?

Hey Benj, what did you decide for my summons beast choices? As i am definitely not playing a pet class.

Oh and spiritual weapon is a cool spell where I get a floating weapon attacking things, which is a spell and not a pet. Should it be an estoc, deity favored, or the battleaxe that goes with chaos aligned, or maybe just materialize as a dove. but not a pet dove.

So me and Craig came to the agreement that for special bosses the knockout blow will automatically crit instead of knocking them out as it can take an epic boss fight to a one round coup de grace kill lol. I will get to work on what you can summon been quite busy and stressed with work lately so I honestly completely forgot to do that. I will send you an email of the list hopefully later tonight. The spiritual weapon would form as an estoc.

Ok, I need to pick a feat. I have light, med, and heavy armor, blind fight, improved init., martial weapon prof., power attack, shield prof, simple weapon, tower shield prof, weapon focus and weapon specialization both for long sword. Thoughts from anyone?
