If you have an questions as to the campaign, please go ahead and ask, Kn here to awnser questions and work out problems.
Also here is an explanation as to how Combat will work:
1) I unfortunately post mostly from Phone, therefore Websites like roll20 or Google Docs will be hard to use, Not to mention that there are no maps official for this game. So in turn I will dumb combat down a bit, as the focus for this game will be primarily RP, With combat never needing to be more complex than knowing how close you are to the enemy and how much room you have.
I will mostly ignore issues like Rough terrain or dead bodies. Aiming AOE will be optimized, unless stated. Meaning im going to assume your characters use AOE in the most effective way to avoid hitting allies while maximizing Enemies hit. However I will do initiate, and if an ally goes before you and approaches an enemy, They WILL be in line of sight and can get hit by your spells. As such I don't advise using fireballs unless you let your allies know first.
Here are the three things I will state:
1) how many enemies there are
2) how much room you have, and any environmental effects
3) the enemy formation. As most enemies will initiate tactics, or otherwise move in a fashion easy to understand or counter.
Additionally, Most enemies will attack smartly, or at least according to their abilites. Mindless undead will attack whomever hurt it last, as long as it can perceve them as hurting it. For example, if you shoot past an ally to hit a zombie, the zombie will see the ally and attack them, under the idea they are the closest enemy that could have hurt them. Gouls amd whights will attack casters and Rogues first, taking out weak links. And liches or Vampires will turn tanks against the party... So be vigilant.

I am hyped for this campaign, the setting sounds awesome and the combat being simplified in favor of RP is something I appreciate.
No Questions so far.
KN History: 1d20 ⇒ 7
Let's have a great game! :D

Checking in as well, and this seems like ti will be a fun mixture of people, all generally heroic fro mthe looks of it, which tends to be the best.
Might as well see what I know, but I doubt it will be much XD
history: 1d20 ⇒ 2
No real questions thus far but there will no doubt be moe in the future, I also approve of the more simplistic game style, even thought I do like the tactical planing and positioning.

Srik-srik 'Pinkie' |

Just checking in, thanks for selecting me. I figure Srik-Srik wouldn't know much about this, so will probably leave this one for our clever wizard!
Liking the sound of the game style, I also mostly post from my phone, so the various map sites are a bit of a pain at best.

Isnt it interesting to visit a place that is so frequently attacked by undead that they literally kill skulkers on sight ? Where the people are so used to having to go through the streets and clear out the lingering undead every morning that it becomes routine?
Aahhh, makes me feel quite lovely
I cant wait for the next season of Casltevainia to come out... 20 days... So close

I am just imagining a local housewife in the morning hitting a shambling zombie with a broom - like one would do with a big rat - to drive it away from her doorstep as if it was the most normal thing in the world to her.
That's actually quite the lovely image.

Ha! It seems that bargaining with evil spirits always seems to have the same tropes, its as if they've been there since time immemorial...
SpoooOooOoOoOoOOoky!

Wow, I really screwed up trying to make that link, what the hell?
I can fix that link for you, just sign here...

Anyways, Early game is gonna be mostly RP and lesser undead. Don't get too far ahead of yourself... We don't want you getting mauled this early.
BTW, i am allowing a moderately free form play, You can wander wherever however you'll probably encounter folks telling you how dangerous it os to do that before your continuation of that throws you into the deep end.
For example: the blackwood has been explained-" even the most experienced hunters rarely return"

Somehow I missed these the first time around. A hearty belly laugh was had.

Hovering over the row below basically scanning left and right starts to reveal them all.
It's a pain but it works.

i don't really have anything meaningful to answer to that xD [@campaign]
so do we like do small talk the rest of the evening and head to bed? or does anyone want to add something, just felt like we came to a small halt there

Vanessa Asergale |

Can we either get an update or some messages to the AFKs?
I understand life is a thing but I really would like an active-ish game.

![]() |

Hmm, well i understood that would be a slower game, I won't hold anyone to a strict regimine but it makes sense, can we get a roll call for who is all here, who is gonna post, and the frequency of the posts?
I will do my best to respond when I can, the slowest i will go is 1-2 times every day, however sometimes my work gets in my way.

Vanessa Asergale |

I'm here checking daily, I have a few games going at once.
Its just hard to move things along without everyone on board.

Oof, yeah, that's real though, I fully get why you can't post that often.
Okay then, thanks for the update, I'll get us back and rolling ASAP.
just let me know if I'm going to slow or if I should easily up(unlikely), I have spent quite some time making this game and my IRL party is doing quite well with it, if almost as slow paced :P
