Something about me - I've been running live games for a few years now, and I do have a few campaigns in PbP under my collar as well, but - If you find anything that can be improved, feel free to point it out.

Some extra stuff to keep games flowing:
Since we are sort of pressed for time in these specials, in case of an extended period of absence, I would like your permission to bot the character, or delegate this to one of the other players in the thread (in case of interest - I wouldn’t simply say “X bots Y” and carry on). With the following in mind, would you agree to being botted?
Me (or the players botting you) would try to not use any consumables in your inventory, or abilities or class features with limited use (x/day stuff such as spells, channel energy, stunning fist, inspiration, and so on) until deemed necessary to ensure the survival of one or more characters in the party.
Botting posts would be as sterile as possible, to not put words into your character’s mouth. We do this because we try to not post something the character would never say due to their convictions, life philosophy, or whatever other reasons they might have. It’s always better if you (as the ‘owner’ of the character) come in later, and fill the blanks if needed.
If you agree to the above, please set up a bot me section in the character profile containing your most common rolls and listing any feats that might alter said rolls.
Additionally, please make sure to put relevant information (initiative, perception, saves, other common rolls, etc) about your character into a spoiler included in all your posts. This can be done with the Classes/Levels field in the character profile. If you have questions how, don't be afraid to ask.

I've been away since Wendesday, with a very limited signal out in the rural areas. I'll make an update today when I find a few minutes while in the office, or after that when I arrive home. Thanks for being patient. I don't have any trips planned for the remainder of the month, so we should be moving faster than last week.

You can understand the spoken words of creatures or read otherwise incomprehensible written messages. The ability to read does not necessarily impart insight into the material, merely its literal meaning. The spell enables you to understand or read an unknown language, not speak or write it.
Read secret messages, maybe?

I would argue that sign language is speaking, it just uses hands instead of vocal cords. People proficient in ASL consider it speaking: see this discussion as one example.

We're approaching Thanksgiving here in America, so this is an early heads-up that I won't be available starting Wed afternoon through Sunday evening. Tomorrow, I head out for a weeklong vacation to where there are beaches, sunshine, and tropical beverages. I intend to be taking utmost advantage of all of the above (especially the latter). As such, I may have difficulty posting while I'm away; please bot me if necessary.
That said, the resort does have free WiFi, and I just got a new keyboard for my iPad that should allow me to post better on vacation than I ever have been able to before. I will be trying to keep up with all of my games as much as possible.
I expect, though, that my posts will necessarily be brief, even to the point of simply making my rolls without much roleplay. If I am silent in social situations, or not posting my combats, please err on the side of botting me early, rather than waiting; it will likely be better for us all that way.

I just wanted to make this quick post to let you all know that I'm back! As you may have noticed, my goal to post during vacation was a complete failure, so I have a lot to get to; it could easily take me all day to catch up on all of my games.
I'm cross-posting this note to all of my games early. Please feel free to continue to bot me until I post in Gameplay, if there's an urgent need; otherwise, I'll post before the end of the day if my character is up. Thanks!

That was quite the week, too.
We were out in the woods for the weekend (starting 18th), and got snowed in. 1m of snow appeared overnight, and it got a bit worse over the next day. We were not in tents, so no worries about that. We were chilling in a friend's hut a few km off the main road. Got back mid-week and had to catch up with work.
Fun times. The locals closed down schools and everything. Snow plows had to be on the main roads 24/7, but they got to us eventually.
Busy start of the week. I tried to get a post in today but only found time to edit the map a TINY bit. Post will happen within the next 18 hrs.
I'll try to hit you with an update within a few hrs. I switched jobs and was busy learning the ropes and getting acquainted with the team.
We should. I'm swarmed at work. I'll sneak in a post later today and try to rush after. Lots of botting after 24 hrs and all that jazz.

Hey all, I got hit hard by a bug on Wed PM, and I'm not quite recovered yet. Thanks for any botting you've done.
