I will be posting again tomorrow evening, tomorrow is the first day of the school year, so it will be a busy day. Expect 8-9 pm postings for a few weeks as I adjust. I may be able to post on my lunch at work, too, but not often.
So, what are we doing about healing? Are you picking up healing hex Pendleton, or are we leaving things as is and hope to acquire a healing wand sooner rather than later?
@Reynotto? Cavaliers get a teamwork feat at first level, right? What did you pick? I'm going to pick up paired opportunist, outflank, broken wing gambit probably. Would be fun if all 4 of us could work together with these feats.
@Arzodus: How does our characters know each other? We stayed as lambs together for quite a while...
I missed the tactician feature. I was considering coordinating manuver, to help with Disarm and trip, though I've barely skimmed the list
Well, I certainly won't pick up that one. Though if you share it, I might make use of it. I'm probably going to pick up the trip evolution on Eviryss at some point and Aleziella can try to trip just fine with her hammer.
If Darkmeer allows it, I could change to paired opportunist on both Aleziella and Eviryss if you want to take it as well.
Precise strike is generally regarded as pretty good, though I won't get that one either and I'm not sure you qualify.

Also I didn't realize there were 19 years between you. My story fits a bit better if he's a bit older, like 12-13...

If the GM would be OK with it I'd like to switch power attack for another teamwork feat.
Im thinking bonded mind (for The 6th level shield other thing), and then at some point I'd like to take the feat that allows me to use someone else's stealth (If The whole party took it'd be amazing.
If it's still ok to switch, I'll swap my Persuasive feat out for another extra hex and take Healing. I can also just grab it at 2nd level, and just use my spells for CLW

I do not have time for a real post this morning, the forums were down when I could post last night. I will catch up with everyone and post tonight.
The forums are down a lot lately. I was blocked by them being down myself the day before yesterday. Perhaps it's a good idea to be able to at least chat together outside the boards, to at least let each other know what's going on? I would suggest discord. It's easy and free to set up and it works quite well. I'll switch over to paired opportunist as well.
I would be fine with discord,but would prefer Google hangout or mythweaver
Mythweavers doesn't even have an app, does it? Hangout could technically work, but it's much more cumbersome to setup\use than discord (besides I'm already using discord for most of my other pbp games).
Forums appear to be stable. I will have harrows up tonight when I can access my notes.

Yeah, forum have been going down for irregular periods at irregular intervals for a while. This is the worst I've seen though. Good to see that you're still here. When such things happen, some people just disappear.

I hope your daughter gets better soon. I knew exactly how it is. When my son was younger he puked more days than not (reflux). Family takes higher priority of course. We'll wait.

Much Appreciated. I was able to get the post up. She's feeling much better today. First week of school and a festival in town wore her down too much and she simply got sick and needed rest.

Thank you all for your well wishes. It's been an overwhelming time. My father and grandmother have been very ill at the same time. Nothing is certain yet other than "not cancer" fory grandmother and my father... My father is in another not cancer but bad catergory.
Needless to say, I have been busy with family stuff.
I realize I've been forgetting Reynotto's banner... Does he actually have one? What does it look like and what benefit does it provide?
We seem to have lost Meresiel... That leaves us without anyone able to pick up disable device I believe. Could I change one of Eviryss class skills over to disable device and maybe even put a point in it?
It is made of a red cloth torn from Leon's bedsheet, and it has what appears to be a lamb (?) With devil horns with a longsword sticking through it (symbolic of Iomedae, as he is masquerading as a paladin of her) with the word Leon underneath. I took the standard bearer archetype which switched the level I got a banner and a mount (I wasn't sure I had time to stat out a mount, as I made my app the last possible day.)
It gives +1 to charge +2 against fear, and I get some nifty stuff from offering the terms of surrender
And I guess i didn't say it in the post, but the shoddy craftsmanship makes it obvious that it was sewed by someone with no training in sewing (He used his parent's banner when they were helping him find Leon, but when they give up he made his own banner, because if his parents have given up he will give up their banner)
I believe we are waiting on Darkmeer correct?
Yes, apologies. I was helping my grandparents this weekend. My grandmother is still unwell. Spent the weekend doing laundry, cleaning two houses (theirs and mine).

Also related, can Eviryss pick a lock (once she's trained) just using thieves tools and her claws, or does she need actual arms too? I'm probably getting arms at some point, but it would be good to know.

It'll take forever to roleplay conversation with all the kids. If we do device to question them, maybe a summary of what they know (about their own family or otherwise) could help along.

Yay loot! Unfortunately it seems like none of those items are particularly well suited to our characters... Are you going to be playing loot exactly by the book? It would be nice if we could sometimes find stuff that's more suitable to what we're trying to do.
This opening so pretty by the book. It has some plot points in it. As we move on, the gear gets much more customized.

As a note, the kids might get wierded out by a ghost at Zellara's, while that is the closest location it would also be very cramped.
The Dawnflower House is the next closest and, under normal circumstances would only be about another 25-30 minute walk. These are definitely not those circumstances. You're looking at an hour. From there the rest of the way is to the temple of Asmodeus.

Oh, I thought it was 3 hours to the dawnflower house. Half an hour is much more reasonable.
If we are recruiting another character to be able to deal with traps I would recommend at least allowing unchained rogue. It's much more in line with the powerlevel of other classes. Though there are certainly other options that could work. Best would be a character can heal and deal with traps, but the options for such characters aren't many (oracle with the seeker archtype, maybe some alchemists or investigators count). We didn't find a healing wand which means we might want to purchase one. Healing hex was enough this time, but it's only once per day per target...

I get the feeling that Crowler might not be too happy when he finds out Reynotto isn't really a paladin, but that he pretended to be one. Even though their dieties are LG and LE, he doesn't seem like the type of guy that would appreciate someone faking to be a religious servant
