Tegan pours a bit of positive energy into the idol. The stone instantly crumbles, turning brittle as it cracks open, revealing a pair of dead demons curled up within.
You guys did good there. If anyone non-evil had tried touching the idol it would have released two quasits.

Bartimaeus Hemlock |

”My goodness.” Bartimaeus prods the remains of the idol and its two inhabitants with his cane. ”Thank the Gods for sending you with us Lady Tegan.” He bows to the priestess.
Noticing the goblin checking the next door he slips up beside him and makes ready for more adventure.

Grek checks the northern door, finding no traps he opens it quietly. Though quietly is relative to a goblin as the silence is suddenly broken by the dozens of pieces of rusted armor attached to a rope clatter loudly together. CLANG..BANG...CLANG. CLATTER! The rusted metal grates and bangs together as the door is opened.
With the trap set off the group can now see further into the dark hallway that branches off in every direction.
At the far eastern end of the hallway stands a tall stone statue depicting a beautiful woman in ceremonial robes stands in an alcove here. The woman clutches a dagger with one hand and holds an hourglass in the other. Red sand swirls within the hourglass, moving of its own will. The statue depicts the goddess Pharasma.

"Woah there! That statue is a trap, placed to prevent non-believers from entering some sacred chambers beyond it. That's the statue of the goddess of death! Beware!"
He shifts to the balls of his feet, and looks about carefully before following the others into the chamber.
Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22

Tegan Ryker |

Tegan blushes furiously at the attention and praise. "Oh. My. You're too kind."
At the sounds of the goblin trap going off, Tegan flinches. When the clattering ceases, Tegan looks up to see the revealed area.
Knowledge (Religion): 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10
Another statue of Pharasma... A sunken temple, perhaps? Tegan remains silent, grateful that the dwarf had taken lead in explaining the new area. She grasps a handful of her skirt with her freehand, the other hand holding her glowing starknife. Tegan licks her lips nervously and looks at each of her companions, unsure as to what they should do next. The rosary hanging around Tegan's neck clearly marks her as a priest of Desna. She believes the visible sign of her faith will probably prevent her from fooling the statue.
After a minute of silence, Tegan comments "uhm, I- I think we will be unable to pass unless we show proof of our faith to Pharasma." The priestess stares unhappily at the hallway, unsure what to do. Perhaps they party should go to town and buy holy symbols of Pharasma? She doubted the stone statue had ears to hear a prayer - and what power would a prayer have if uttered by the faithless? Tegan continues to look distraught.

What do you wish to do?

Gorotha Spinebreaker |

Gorotha scowls as they set off the crude alarm. "Let them come," she mutters. She stops short once the statue is identified as a trap and she purses her lips as she looks at it.
"There are other ways we can go. Let us deal with the statue when we have no other option. No need to fool a trap we can avoid."
With that Goroth looks to the west tunnel.
I see a tunnel heading northwest, Gorotha will push there unless the group objects.

This large sunken chamber is more cavern than worked stone, and the tangle of damp flagstones underfoot provides an uneven surface. Water and slime drips from the walls, seeping in through narrow cracks above. A crude fire pit sits in the middle of the room, surrounded by filthy mats of fur and fungus. The stench of warm, wet bodies hangs faintly in the air, underlying the smell of overcooked meat.
A 15-foot-high ledge in the northeastern corner of the room. Athletics to climb
The pitch black room appears to be empty from the entrance.

Gorotha Spinebreaker |

Gorotha stops as Bartimaeus shouts at - something - to come out and Grek slips into the darkness. "So much trouble!"
She leans over to Bartimaeus. "How many? Where?"
Gortoha is not advancing but not quite aware what's going on.

Dim light illuminates a small goblin hiding in the corner. As Bartimaeus calls out the goblin screeches and clamps his hands over his mouth. "Oww!"
The small goblin crouches down behind a rock. "Noone here!"

Dufek Leatherfinger Reiteg |

Dufek becomes uneasy and wary when Bartimaeus calls out to an unseen enemy... that is until he hears the squeaking reply.
He laughs, "C'mon out little one. We'll probably not hurt you if you do - but who knows what we'll do if you do not!"
Sure that made some sense somewhere in his head, he waits to see what happens.

Grek hears a small growl coming from the goblin in the darkness. "Grek traitor! Drakus drink his blood fer coming back to Mudchewers!"
The young goblin doesn't come out of it's hole, but seems devoted to Drakus the vampiric hobgoblin.

Bartimaeus Hemlock |

Bartimaeus steps slowly into the room, closing in on the young goblin.
”We are here to make Drakus heel. And we’ll knock his fangs out if he doesn’t. If you can’t behave, then I suppose we’ll have to deal with you too.”
I’m expecting a trap, but going in anyway.

She looks up after the rocks stop falling. A small cut on her forehead begins to pool blood, threatening to drip down her face. "What- what a cruel thing to do!" @Grek- I believe the surprise round disappeared but I am still searching the rulebook. Though I don't see why it still would not be flat-footed as it has not acted yet.
Dufek rushes the goblin commando as it screams, dropping the rope. His fist smashes into the goblin's face, twice and hard, loosening a few teeth.
Grek clamors across the rubble and slices a few fingers off of the goblin pyro. It screams as blood trickles across the rocks. the screams quickly turn into a hiss of anger as the goblins leap in. As each goblin comes near one another it allows them to scuttle about.

Gorotha rages down the hallway and launches her axe into the first goblin's face, killing it.

Tegan is ready to proceed.

They went away from the wand of CLW spamming to top off after every fight with 2E. Though wands are still there it takes resonance points to activate magic items so still only so many uses in a playthrough. Most of these you will be quite low on health. In fact one of the scenarios is dedicated to healers to see what all healing can handle. I am just glad they are playtesting and altering this.
Searching the area and goblins Dufek finds:
The goblin commando also carried another softly glowing potion, similar to the one you found prior. 10 minutes of studying and DC 13 Knowledge Arcana, Nature, Occultism or Religion to ID Potion. Unless you have the Quick Identification Feat.

Taking a few minutes Dufek recognizes both this potion and the one found earlier as minor healing potions! They restore 1d8 HP each.

Bartimaeus Hemlock |

”Minor healing potions?” Bartimaeus makes a harrumph sound. ”What has happened to the economy? I recall when a potion cured light wounds. They used to have a little kick at the tail end, as if the potion brewer’s looked at the bottle and said to themselves ‘let’s add +1 ounce’ just in case.”
Throwing up his hands, Bartimaeus goes in search of more goblin skulls to crack.
”I think we missed a door. Let’s go back!”
Moved on map. Kicking in door when others arrive.
Resonance for wands - dislike.
Doing away with “cure light wounds” - very much dislike! It’s an iconic description!
