I just gained a level last adventure, so I won't be gaining another just yet.
This new game is run by GM Paladin, so you can confer with him if there's cause to do so.
I presently have 1,098 in gold pieces, so the reduced gold shouldn't be too constraining.
As for what I want to copy from whom, that depends on what they can offer me. Let's see...:
From Tiberius:
Could you please show us your full spellbook? I don't see it on your character sheet.
From Zaarah: feather fall (10 gp)
+
floating disk (10 gp)
=
20 gp
From Evariel: enlarge person (10 gp)
+
reduce person (10 gp)
+
glitterdust (40 gp)
+
gust of wind (40 gp)
=
100 gp
Grand Total: 210 gp (plus whatever I might yet be able to glean from Tiberius)
As for what I have to offer the rest of you, the answer is 'a fair amount' (under the 'Magic' spoiler). I actually made a point of learning a few weird spells before this adventure started so I'd have some interesting things to 'ante'!
Apologies, Xukong... I'll try to remember to check the full spell list from Hero Lab during weekend (I rarely post from a device that has HL installed)

Right, then:

Now, we players are slowing down the game as well. Can you guys please post! Zaarah has a game in 10 days and it would be great if we could all post regularly now.

Since there is a mechanic for that information (Knowledge & heal checks) it isn't something I just give out. Sure your skill in combat lets you know that burying your blade to the hilt does more damage than just scratching the surface, or that a sword is more dangerous than a bare fist. You can see the difference between fast healing and damage reduction, but not the details. You couldn't actually see that you got a '28' either, but omitting that kind of detail would kill a game pretty quickly.
And the clues are there ooc :)
I am for giving players options however, what would you do differently if it was DR5? DR10?

Sorry, you are completely right. ;-)
If I would know DR 10 then I could not damage them with my weapon and would start using shocking grasp.
As you are correct that I did not make the checks so far I could potentially continue with the current tactics until I make the heal check and notice that I don’t do damage.
IMHO anyone with a positive BAB would be able to tell if they were ineffective against an opponent. Only one of your attacks was fully reduced, though you have been landing damage consistently. If you would like to change tactics, it would be perfectly reasonable to do so. That is what a decently trained Pathfinder would think about (as opposed to metagaming 5/10/15 DR). Going into a battle this long could be another IC reason to bring out the big guns (though some characters might consider the big guns a waste of resources this late in a battle. :)
Is BBEG randomized in this scenario? This one was quite tough... Of course, full-caster party was expected to run into some trouble :) So many thanks to Drogun for bravely standing between the casters and a world of hurt!
I picked the spells I'd like to copy, but I need to check if they are all in my Hero Lab.
M Elf Necromancer wizard 4 | AC: 14/12/12 | HP: 26/26 | Fort +4, Ref +4, Will +4 | CMB +0, CMD 12 | Init +4 | Perc +5 | Command Undead 7/7 (DC 17 Will)
Oh my gosh, my streak is finally broken! My lack of GameDay boons was starting to defy probability-- this was something like my 18th GameDay game, and I've never gotten a boon. Email sent!
It is random as to which storyline, but the qlippoth was the last encounter of this storyline (summoning gone wrong). The random included the myconids, and the ooze. while the howlers were a 'related encounter.' Their howling should have triggered a collapse in the ceiling, but dice can be fickle :) and being blind they were unable to defend themselves very well. The river ride was not a part of the story, but it seemed like a fun idea so I went with it :) (it does give mechanics should someone fall in, but jumping in... brave folks indeed. :)
With 5 attacks around the qlippoth could have been much worse, but it was blinded early on. I probably shouldn't have had it dim door away, but it was blind and had successfully grabbed someone capable of dealing a lot of damage to it. nomnomnom
Chronicles are here! Please let me know if I got something wrong. Please note the session number is 268. I didn't have that number until after I reported so the chronicle might show session 77 (my number on the GameDay VII recruitment page). Zestel I will finish yours when I know the 'gold spent'.
