You remember the attack. You were with a group of travelers heading through the Argent Valley when it happened. The baying of the wolves initially startled the travelers, but when the goblin-ghouls leapt out the panic started.
The Ghost Knights kept people from escaping as their companions were paralyzed. You caught glimpses of shadowy figures dragging bodies to the wagons before you fell to the ghouls. The last image you remember was a flash of fangs and red eyes before everything went black.
