Alluriel fluff:

Background

Alluriel's mother, Nitsche, was a blood hag who lived in Arthfel Forest, who often preyed on people who entered or lived near the woods. General Heskell, Alluriel's father, saw the devestation she was wrecking and marshalled his men to hunt her down. THey found her in a clearing, about to devour a helpless woodcutter. Caught by surprise, Nitsche was wounded by them, but she managed to escape, swearing vengeance on the General.

Nitsche bided her time and used illusions to conceal her true semblance before infiltrating Augustana. She found out that General Heskell had a young wife whom he loved very much. One day, when he went out on a long voyage to raid Cheliax ships, she kidnapped his wife, tortured her to death and war her skin, masquerading as her. Who knows how long this deception would have gone on, except when the ship mage paid him an unexpected visit and recognised her for what she was. She was forced to flee, pregnant with his child...

She left his child, Alluriel, in an orphanage at Almas, secure in her knowledge that she could "collect" the child later. Alluriel grew up in the orphanage, where there was never enough food to eat, leaving her waif thin and pale. Yet there was something about her mismatched eyes and streak of white running through her dark raven hair that gave people shivers. Her only friends were those who were not human, ostracized by the rest of the society just like her. She ran into a stranger who asked her to help bring a certain book(religious book on Dispater), out of the city, where he would collect it from her outside the city, paying her in advance. She waited for him, but he never showed up. She was about to dump the book when some of the symbols caught her eye. Curious, she read from it, finding that the principles outlined in the book were very much to her liking.

She started a protection racket in the slums of Almas with her friends, offering protection for tithes to her, while employing more of the non humans to "encourage" more people to sign up for protection by thrashing the places of those who did not pay up. Her mother, Nitsche, tried to call her out of Almas, but reading the religious book, she found meditation techniques to help her resist the call. Soon she had the slums under her iron grip, and she began to spread her base of operations to the rest of the city.

Capture

She's not sure where it went wrong. Probably someone snitched out on her. The result however, was Eagle Knights showing up at the doors of her headquarters. She ordered her men to blockade the front door while she and a few friends tried to escape by the back, just to find the Eagle Knights waiting on the other end of the tunnel. She tried to break through their lines, but the last thing she remembered was a mace coming down on her head...

Then she woke in prison.

Unchained allowed? Specifically the Rogue? If so, would that also mean Skill Unlocks are allowed?

@Cam James: If you want to give your character a bonus capabiliy then you will have to invest some resources in it. That's just how the game works. I don't think a single rage power is that much of a burden.

I suppose this is a homebrew setting though, so we can be a bit creative. If you want, you can take the combat trait:

Strong Leaper: While raging, you may use your strength modifier in place of your dexterity modifier when using the acrobatic skill to jump.

@Monkeygod: unchained is allowed. Unchained rogue gets skill unlocks and anybody can take the Signature Skill feat.

Languages Common, Draconic

Alternate racial traits
Inscrutable (Blood Hag): The Sense Motive check DC to gain a hunch about the changeling increases by 5.

Hag Magic: Some changelings develop a gift for spellcasting instead of their mothers' overtly fearsome traits. A changeling with this trait displays one or more stark white streaks in her hair as a child. The DCs of any saving throws against enchantment spells she casts increase by 1, and if her Charisma score is 11 or higher, she also gains the following spell-like abilities, usable once per day each: dancing lights, detect magic, disguise self, and pass without trace. The caster level of these spell-like abilities is equal to the changeling's character level. The DC for these spell-like abilities is equal to 10 + the spell's level + the changeling's Charisma modifier. This racial trait replaces the claws and natural armor racial abilities.

Variant Channeling - Rulership (harm option) - 8 times per day - DC 21
Rulership: Harm—Creatures are dazed for 1 round - 2d6 neg energy

Inspiring Command (Su): As a standard action, you can issue an inspiring command to your allies. The inspiring command affects one ally plus one additional ally for every three cleric levels you possess, who must all be within 30 feet of you. Affected allies gain a +2 insight bonus on attack rolls, AC, combat maneuver defense, and skill checks for 1 round. This is a language-dependent mind-affecting effect.

Single Minded
An evangelist focuses her skills and learning on proclamation rather than the fine details of the church’s deeper mysteries or martial training. Thus, she may select only one domain and does not gain medium armor proficiency or shield proficiency.

Public Speaker

An evangelist gains Perform as a class skill. In addition, she is trained to project her voice with great skill and effect; the DC to hear her speak in difficult conditions is reduced by an amount equal to her class level plus her Charisma modifier (minimum 0).

Sermonic Performance - 19/19 rounds

An evangelist gains the ability to deliver a select number of supernatural and spell-like performances through the force and power of her divinely inspired preaching and exhortation. This ability is similar in all respects to bardic performance as used by a bard of the same level (including interactions with feats, spells, and prestige classes), using Perform (oratory) as the evangelist’s performance skill. However, an evangelist gains only the following types of bardic performance: countersong, fascinate, and inspire courage at 1st level; inspire greatness at 9th level; and inspire heroics at 15th level.

Sermonic performance replaces the 1st-, 9th-, and 15th-level channel energy abilities. This caps the cleric's channel energy damage at 7d6 points.

Spontaneous Casting

An evangelist does not gain the ability to spontaneously cast cure or inflict spells by sacrificing prepared spells. However, an evangelist can spontaneously cast the spells listed in Table: Evangelist Spontaneous Spells by sacrificing a prepared spell of the noted level or above.

1st - Command
2nd - Enthrall
3rd - Tongues

Other Gear
MW Chain Shirt, Sickle, Headband of Alluring Charisma, Handy Haversack, Lesser Reach Rod, Wand of Infernal Healing, Cloak of Resistance +1, the rest TBD

chuffster, I wish to introduce Graithenar Half-elven, infamous necromancer and mass murderer.
Sorry this took so long. I wanted to get his backstory and capture down properly.

How do you plan on dealing with any characters that might be elves themselves, TheWaskally?

Because I'm not sure a character that literally wants to kill every single elf on sight is a good idea, as several people might have planned elf characters, myself included.

Well, that would be an interesting dynamic. I'm certain any elf characters might want to kill Graithenar as well. I'm sure the party members certainly aren't friends. I'm also sure Absolom would provide some kind of 'kill-your-teammates' restraint, magical or otherwise. Besides, a lot can happen in the heat of battle. Rolls fumbles and you have a scorching ray sticking out of your chest. These things can happen.

Cue evil laughter.

I don't think having Graithenar submitted for consideration should limit you in making an elf character, bigrig107.

Just checking in

Still here :)

I'm sure we'll all get along just fine. Danira (a Drow) doesn't have such complex rules for killing, such as the victim must be this or that. If you're alive that's usually good enough for her. And it should amuse her, which it likely will.

=)

At least they could agree all surface elves must die..? Cheers!

Background:

Silvio worked as an apprentice for the Alchemist, Patricia Larson, in Almas. Silvio was Patricia’s cousin’s son, and the alchemist only took him on as a favor to her. While Silvio was sharp and learned the alchemy, the two other apprentices, Naomi and Gregor always seemed to get Patrcia’s favor. Each of the apprentices were supposed to sell their own wares in the shop, and it always seemed that their concoctions were displayed in the front of cases while Silvio’s were pushed to the back. Patrcia would suggest Naomi and Gregor’s creations when dealing with an important customer. It was only when dealing with the poor that she would hawk Silvio’s work, earning him a pittance compared to the others.

Since his work never sold for as much as the others, he barely ever had enough materials and looked like a pauper compared to the others. Quality materials were nearly always out of his grasp, and many of his concoctions were weak, which only reinforced the cycle. In his situation, Silvio did what many would do, he turned to crime. He began stealing items from the shop to sell on the street. At first, he sold small amounts of supplies that he could find, but soon, he was pilfering older stock which he hoped no one would miss. Soon, Silvio had developed a reputation for being able to provide the criminal elements with alchemical stock. Almas guards soon found themselves facing fire, acid, and ice when they went to arrest lowlifes. Several guards died from the unexpectedly equipped criminals. After several incidents, they began to notice a trend and soon, a name began to emerge: The Chemist.

Capture:

In the end, it was Naomi who discovered Silvio’s secret. She was a smart girl and noticed that the young man was around less and less, and when he was, his skills had improved markedly. When Naomi confronted him about his stealing and using stolen goods to create his alchemical items, she taunted him. Knowing that exposing him would completely end his hopes of being an alchemist, Naomi shared Patricia’s dirty little secret. Patricia despised Silvio because his mother had blackmailed her into taking him as a student. Silvio’s mother had discovered that Patricia had cheated on her husband with a Chelaxian diabloist, a revelation that would have destroyed her reputation both in society as well as business. The revelation suddenly made clear the years of suffering and abuse from Patricia.

Faced with the truth about his apprenticeship and being jailed for his crimes, Silvio retaliated. He hurled acid at Naomi, burning her badly. When Gregor came to investigate the yelling, Silvio turned on him too, using Alchemist's Fire and acid against him. Then he set the shop on fire, leaving Naomi and Gregor trapped in the quickly burning building. Enraged by the revelations and stoked by the murders of his fellow apprentices, Silvio went to hunt Patricia down. He found her at home. Not even allowing her to plead for her life, Silvio threw fire and acid at her, her husband, and their small child repeatedly. The guards could barely even identify the bodies afterwards. The Chemist had earned a new name: The Mad Bomber.

For the next two weeks, Silvio evaded the guards thanks to his criminal connections. But Silvo continued to terrorize Almas, attacking random people with a seemingly unending supply of alchemical weapons. Over two dozen people died from acid, fire, or ice in those two weeks, with another nearly 50 suffering burns of one degree or another. It took a squad of Eagle Knights to hunt down and corner Silvio. Even they did not escape unscathed, but in the end the Mad Bomber was captured. He now spends his days rotting away in the dungeon.

Let's stick with the race restrictions as given in the original post.

No problem, Soul Drinker it is :)

So, I always worry that when I jump on a recruiting thread, post a PC, and then wait until the deadline patiently that I will get forgotten ("the squeaky wheel..."). Is there anything I can do to help make Oghash a more competitive selection? Thanks, Chuffster!

First question? Aasimar allowed?
If so, Aasimar Ninja, Char to come

Background: Cannos Blackthorn was a typical child in a normal town setting (Easternish)... that was until a brutal war engulfed the area. Both sides recruited (or enslaved) the locals in the area. Cannos was one of the unfortunate children enslaved and placed in deathcamps and tortured until he was compliant with his captures and started training as a deathdealer ninja. From age 5 thru age 11 he was trained hard and earned his place among the ranks. Ages 11 thru 17 saw him performing many missions from sabotage to assasinations with moderate success. His lastest/final? mission had he deployed to (insert setting area here) to retrieve a person of interest and resulted in capture..... (insert starting quote here)

Capture: While on a mission to (insert setting area here) to capture and return an important political figure, Cannos and his group assaulted the safehouse where the target was suppose to be... After a deadly battle, Cannos suffered major wounds while most of his group were killed. Only he and 2 others were captured and imprisoned. Being separated from his companions, enduring multiple tortures... (just like old times) and losing any semblance of time, he is suddenly (insert story start here....)

I know the feeling Darkone. I always fear that either I have will be missed/forgotten or that I will forget to post my character (its happened).

Speaking of, thanks Chuffster for creating that trait for me!

The basic idea that I am going with is;
Orc Barbarian (prob invuln)
15 Str, 11 Dex, 16 Con, 12 Int, 14 Wis, 10 Cha for his point buy (then add in +6 Str, and -2 to Dex, Int, Wis and Cha. I get -2 to 4 different stats! Yay!)
Feats: Imp Unarmed Strike, Imp Grapple, Dragon Style
Powers: Brutal Grappler and either Raging/Bestial Climber or Raging Leaper/Scent combo.
Trait: Strong Leaper.

and go from there.

That way my first punch will hit like a truck, i can use those big meaty hands to grab and pin someone, I can leap around and climb up buildings if needed, or I can Smell out our prey and chase him down.

Nobody has been forgotten. I'm going to collect everybody into a list for a big reminder post tomorrow.

You can edit your character all you like until the deadline.

Loup Blanc finally resurfacing here, with my submission completed. Stats are in the profile along with fluff, which I'll also repost below. If anybody wants to take a look, feel free, and let me know if anything needs changing or expanding!

Background:
From a paid informant in a tavern of ill repute.
Lucifer Graves? Yeah, I’ve heard of him. We’ve all heard of him. The highwayman that fancies himself a lord among bandits, even calls himself the Flame Prince. You can learn about him in any tavern up and down Avistan, from Varisia all the way down to Qadira. Folks in Absalom have heard of him, but I dunno as they ever met the bastard. There’s plenty what have, though, if you look in the right places round here.

Where he come from, well, I don’t rightly—ten gold, eh? Well. Rumor says he’s Varisian, was born and raised there in the Sczarni clans. Started out young as a crooked one, thieving and conning for the gypsy criminals. Course sooner or later his nature started showing itself, what with the fire in his blood. And that ain’t just fancy language about him having a temper or nothin’, not that he doesn’t have quick passions about all sorts of things. He’s got actual fire in the blood, they say. Er, maybe not actual fire, you know, but, he’s got family of that element, you know?

Anyway, eventually something happened pushed him out from there. Maybe he got tired of being told what to do, or working small-time with the caravans. Some point along the way he moved up from sneak-thief to alley knife, so he had the skills to keep himself alive in most manner of criminal work other than picking locks, it seems. Whatever it was pushed him, he left the Sczarni at some point, and didn’t leave no bridges unburned when he did, neither—stole a wagon and brought some other young folk with him, left ‘em high and dry as he went.

And that’s about how it started, so the story goes. I’m sure you know the rest… but with a fee like that, how could I refuse to explain? He stayed in Varisia for a time, and that’s where he got started doin’ what he does now. He’s a highwayman, and in the old style, too. Fancies himself a gentleman bandit in some ways, I guess, claims he don’t kill when he don’t need to, doesn’t like unnecessary violence. But you tell that to the folks what don’t give in right away, or who start hiring guards after he robs them before. Usually he leaves somebody alive to spread the word, but only one. And sometimes there ain’t no message but a smoldering wreckage on the side of the road.

He’s a flamboyant one, that’s for sure. Leaves his marks, leaves his story. He’s a devil in a fight and easy to recognize, but only once he makes himself known. Be glad he ain’t round here.

…All that? That’s mine? In that case, yeah. I heard tell an old nobleman from before the Revolt got hit up north near the Isger border. Said the robbers’ leader was a man with red hair in a mask and fancy clothes. That’s your man.

But you didn’t hear it from me.

Capture:
From the debrief report on Operation Penumbra.
Following the gathering of information on the target, a simple and straightforward plan was devised. We set about spreading word that a particularly wealthy and unguarded Andoren emissary was bound for Nirmathas, and then prepared a wagon train to look the part. Of course, the wagon was filled with our own men and women. Although capture of the target was the goal, the other bandits were not of interest, and preparations were made to put down the entire group if necessary. Mission parameters were clear and accepted.

In an uninhabited span of land our lead wagon saw a broken-down cart at the top of a rise, with two apparent peasants nearby. The peasants waved our caravan down, and were heard calling for assistance with their trouble. (Clearly the target possesses a clever bent, or has learned of Andoran’s political situation and respect for the peasantry.) By this time our outriders had already discovered and detained several outlying bandits in the surrounding foothills, and with our prior information on the target’s tactics we were certain of our having found him. After brief discussion, the decision was made to approach to within easy crossbow range before engaging the target in combat.

The battle with the target began with an upper hand on our side: he was struck by one quarrel, and his companion on the roadside was felled in the first volley. However, it soon became apparent that we had either underestimated the target’s following or simply not acquired enough information, as nearly three dozen bandits rose from hiding at the target’s cry. He himself struck off his hat—apparently enchanted, as with it went his disguise—and quickly moved to engage our forces in close combat, throwing a single starknife as he approached.

The target proved as capable in a fight as we’d expected, if not more so. Although most of his followers were poorly trained brigands, the target himself was a fiercely skilled swordsman, and he fought to the last against us, having drawn a rapier shortly after his disguise was lifted. (Where and how he hid the rapier isn’t fully understood at this time; the target appears to be quite skilled at such concealment, as proven further by his later pulling a punching dagger while believed disarmed.) Even when all of his companions had been put down, the target fought, and personally brought down more than ten of our finest agents before being surrounded, beaten down, and manacled.

As the target was being brought back to our facility, he confessed to knowing the operation was a trap. When asked why he engaged our caravan anyway, he grinned and said, “Would’ve made a great story if I won, wouldn’t it?” Target proceeded to draw a punching dagger and killed two more men before he was knocked unconscious and further chained for the remainder of the trip.

(Personal note: I know dispassion is important, but I wish I could be there to see them break this bastard.)

I dont have hero lab personally, but my friend does and we have a saturday night game. I will create and print the char then and post it tomorrow. If thats ok....

"She should have died oh yes, she should have. The portents were clear. Black cat and white dove. Yes, yes, she should have died. Good woman, nice woman, kind to her children. Yes. But my lady, my lady said it is her time. Oh yes. So bad for her. But the portents were clear. I watched. I waited. But no illness, no accident. Balance was broken. Oh yes. So... I had to do it! You understand. Yes, yes, I had no choice. The portents were clear. Her time had come. So sorry. But necessary. I watched. And waited. No accident, nono! So I took my fathers dagger. Left it behind. But no matter. Good weapon. And his friends. But children with her. Couldn´t use knifes. But she gave, oh yes, the lady, she gave me a chance. She walked toward that barrel towed up the barn. Was sooo easy to cut it with my knife. Very easy. Of course child died, too. But died innocent. So my lady was easy. And that night a crow flew across the moon. The Lady was pleased. Yes, yes. She liked it. So I checked and waited. And a little thrust here, a slit throat there. I was a good girl to my mistress. Oh yes. When the portents said, it was time and they cheated, those bad people cheated my mistress, I made things right again. Oh yes. But then.... then they caught me. Bad luck. Someone saw me. And then they hunted me. I hid in the sewers, but those bloodhounds, especially that dwarfen one. He was not denied. Oh no. But he did not kill me. Brought me before the court. I told them, full of pride, of my sacred mission. But they didn´t understand. So they threw me in the hole. Was there, many days and nights. Many! Now they say they need me. Someone else is supposed to be dead. The portents are clear, they say. Some more will help me. Does not matter. Many better sometimes. As long as he is DEAD and walks before her throne!"

Yes, Sychon is completly nuts. Like many devoted of pharasma the loss of prophecy drove her to madness. But unlike most, she was not caught. At first. She thinks it is her divine duty to kill those that should be dead according to the portents. So she helps to even the scale.

She is a dagger wielding half-orc warpriest. An alias will be made the moment she is selected. And thank you for the opportunity to create.. a truly sad mad person.

Hel's History:

Hel Blackhand didn't start out evil - not by a long shot. Raised as a 'classic' mousey librarian by gentry librarian parents in Alvis, she learned the classic 'gentry' skills: manners, diplomacy, grace and deportment, languages, the use of the bow, the managing of a house. Unfortunately, their Iomedean haven of light was discovered by an ultra-zealous witch hunter to possess 'evil tomes' - discussions on the worship of Asmodeus, diabolism, and other similar themes.

Without benefit of a trial, the witch hunter declared them evidence of their evil, and brutally battered the three into helplessness. Lashing them to the bookshelves, the fanatic torched the library, intending that the books would be the timber necessary for the purification of their souls. The skylights in the library broke early on, though, and acted as a chimney, drawing away the smoke that would have mercifully killed the four; though Hel shredded the skin of her left hand and forearm to free herself, she was unable to unbind her parents and younger brother, screaming in agony as the fire consumed their flesh.

But escaping the flames didn't end her torment. Though the witch hunter didn't get the chance to put a blade through her heart then (too many witnesses), when she was placed in a local convent of Irori he would leave items for her to discover - a heat-shattered piece of ceramic sculpture, a half-burned page, and various other items from the library. His persistence shaped the fifteen-year-old's approach to her new god, and she threw herself into learning the self-discipline and skill with the bow necessary to protect herself and never need to put up with such a person again.

When she left the convent, she swiftly decamped to Almas, disappearing into the warrens of the capital city. Soon she was trading her accuracy with a bow and her willingness to brutalize people for food, equipment, and privacy - and never, ever, ever for the company of men. She made examples of every man who laid hands upon her, and made corpses of those who thought 'no' meant 'rape me later'. For the next years, she lived in a most low lifestyle, but it was one that gave her what she most cherished: freedom to do what she needed to, when it needed to be done. She kept a strict regimen of basic habits - bath, working out, practice with the bow. And then a bath.

She gained a reputation for a sharp, biting wit, a keen discernment, and a blazing hatred for men and withering contempt for almost everyone else. It was said that she could blister a man's thoughts right out of his head with a scornful critique of his form, failings, or intellect. She also amassed a small collection of useful items - things that could help her blend in, kill better, or just make her life easier. Because Hel was a woman with a mission.

Hel's Capture:

Having evaded him when she left the abbey, for almost seven years Hel hunted the witch-hunter that had started her down this path. She determined his habits, catalogued his preferences, identified his family, friends, and co-workers, sifted for rumors of his duties, the people he offended, those who owed him debts and favors. Eventually, her persistence paid off, and the woman the authorities called 'the Arrow-Slit Killer' (for her ability to strike her targets through only a narrow gap) was able to deduce the witch-hunter's pattern, and a vulnerability.

Unfortunately, despite her success at getting the drop on him in an early-morning ambush, he led her on a hellish cat-and-mouse chase across the wakening city. Ruthlessly using civilians to block line-of-sight and absorb an arrow or two meant for him when necessary, the witch-hunter raised the watch, further delaying her pursuit. Her fleetness, however, meant that though he was able to temporarily evade her, he was unable to make good on his escape. Hel's arrows cut too close time and again, slicing across his skin and, by the time he stumbled onto the steps of the Temple of Iomedae, turning him into a bloody, tattered mess - one which, except for the burns, echoed the mess Hel had been ten years earlier.

There is no doubt that Hel is guilty of murder; the clerics of Iomedae emerged from the temple just in time to witness her straddle the barely-conscious witch hunter and calmly, ruthlessly fire two arrows into his skull. Spells blasted her into unconsciousness, and the Iomedaeans turned her over to the city guard with alacrity.

Her trial was equally short, for though they desired to prove her guilty of scores of attacks and dozens of murders that had occurred over the past seven years, she would confess only to one: the murder of the witch hunter. She told her story to the judge (excluding of course the other incriminating bits) with neither shame nor pride, as poised and self-controlled as any martial nun of Irori. The sentence given down was that of the death penalty, but a wise person commuted it to life at hard labor ... and then someone else decided that a certain 'team' they were putting together could use a ranged combat specialist.

Sovereign Court

Bigrig107 checking in here, with my submission's alias.

Haven't gotten background/appearance/personality up yet, but that'll be up shortly.

Liberty's Edge

Alright. Josh.Ingle here. Actually going to throw something up soon. I have like three pages of horribly disorganized notes and thoughts but I need to make them make sense and make his character sheet. Recycling a name and alias that didn't get picked for a thing. Look here in like an hour and a half-ish.

Liberty's Edge

Oh wow I was only 8 minutes off on my guess. Arryn is ready for review. Finally gathered all my build notes and made an actual build.

Still working on crunch but bare bones is there, trying to get background in before cutoff, I'll finish crunch ASAP

Iacobus Flint, Background:
I am a proud Taldan, from a long line of proud Taldans. My family has been among the senate for generations and we have served the interests of the empire all that time. The honored ancestor for whom I am named was one of the soldiers of the First Army of Exploration! My great-grandfather was raised and inducted into the royal family for our families contributions, even now we still celebrate the anniversary of his raising. My father married my mother in a great ceremony, hosted at the home of the Grand Prince himself. What better way to celebrate the union of the royalty of Taldor with the nobility of Kyonin, hmm? I tell you of my family history so you can understand who I am. Elorus, my brother, sits on the senate. Iaome, my sister, is married to one of the great generals of the empire. So, you may ask, how is it that I, the younger son come to you now? The answer is simple, I love my country more than I do myself. As soon as I was of age I joined the army, in the army I learned that my youth on the family estates as a hunter had well prepared me for the role of scout. I did well in the army, but the command structure was not for me. After I left I was approached by agents of the Grand Prince, they had a request, a duty, for me. I readily accepted without truly knowing what they wanted. The nature of my new job soon became apparent however, I became what is known as a deniable asset. When enemies of the Empire moved against us my job was to find them and eliminate them. If I was caught, I was simply a Taldan extremist who would be disavowed by the Grand Prince. For years I served the interests of the Grand Prince, killing Galtish rebels, Chellish infernalists, and hated Qadirans.

Iacobus Flint, How I Was Caught:
My last duty for the Grand Prince was one of the most sensitive ones in my career. I tracked down a senator who had been selling state secrets and operating against the best interests of Taldor and in the best interests of Chelliax. I found him, slipped into his home, and I killed him. It was a simple thing really, the act itself. I cleaned up, put him in bed and made it look like he drank to much and expired in his sleep. The was no evidence to link me to the crime. No physical evidence anyway. Magical evidence is harder to control for. The damned Inspector Vors found me out, he raised just a bit to much havoc and the Prince was forced to placate him. On the night of my capture I said goodbye to my wife, kissed my sleeping children, and went out to give the inspector a show. I caught him in an alley just off the main thoroughfare and made as if I was going to kill him, he was surprised and had little chance. Bleeding and crawling away he saw my masked face and my drawn daggers and little else. The agents of the Empire waiting nearby appeared and apprehended me, beating me to near unconsciousness and dragging me away while tending to the inspector and telling him that I was a Galtan extremist and that I would be dealt with accordingly. The next morning they hung some poor merchant from Galt and said he was me. They stuck me in this prison to let things blow over and keep me on tap for if there was another job requiring my particular talents. So, here we sit.

*hype intensifies*

Thank you to everybody who submitted. There were a lot of great entries! Unfortunately there are only so many spaces available.

Our starting squad will be:

Kyra Banior
Danira Mournbringer
Myzaraphiston Synderfell
Alluriel
Lucifer Graves

Please check in on the discussion thread and check out the gameplay thread.

The following people have the option of being alts:

Silvio Slate
Calos Grange
Graithenar Half-elven
Sychon
Iacobus Flint
Hel Blackfist

Please pm me if you would like to be an alternate. This could involve filling in should we lose squad members or filling out a new squad if I find the bandwidth to run another game.

Also: Seth86 -- I told you your submission was complete when in fact you did not have a background or capture story posted. If you'd like to be considered for alternate status you can write up your background and capture story and send them to me.

Thanks again everybody!

I'm up for altification.

I was not selected for either membership or the bench, but would be interested in Chuffster's opinion on why Oghash was not a good fit. The way I see it, you can always learn from another person's eyes on a PC. Please send me a PM, Chuffster, and good luck to everyone in the game!
