Any weapons or items that you would be looking for as panic spreads? Any places that you would go and hide or fortify in the school? Also I know most of you are loners but do any of you have friends or acquaintances, you know people that you might find or come upon?
Electra starts every morning with a shrill alarm clock. After a few moments she will shower and have a quick snack while checking her timetable, taking care all homework is done, all books for today are in her backpack and everything is prepared..
She will clean up, as learned from Joachim, a member of the security detail, when they lived in Mombasa and leave the empty flat. On her way to school she will text her father, and wish him a great day.
Waiting for her at school are her friends from the nerd herd, waiting for the blond gai-jin, who gives them a bit of prestige.
"Get up or you'll be late for school," Devin heard his mother say from down the hall, "I'll be working late tonight so you are on your own for dinner, breakfast is on the table, be safe on that death trap you ride around on, and I love you."
"Love you too," he replied just before he heard the door shut. Devin quickly ate his breakfast and was out the door. For some reason traffic was awful today but being on a motorcycle made things easier. Arriving at the school just before the gates closed, the parking lot was empty of people. Devin parked his bike and walked through the doors just to hear student body president Dorky McDingus finish his announcements.
Excellent Electra and Devin you can post that in gameplay. Electra you can also add in any specific interactions with your nerd herd and how your group gets to school early or on time?
Everyone please have perception (listen, spot, and search all put in one) in your vital info, if not your skills.
Please put your grade and age into your crunches, Devin I could not find yours.
Another skill that I forgot: Jump, Tumble and Balance are all Acrobatics. Unless you think we should have jump separate?
Since Devin and Quinn have done their skills as if using Pathfinder, I think we should all switch it over. You don't multiply your starting skills by 4 at first level, but instead gain a +3 class bonus for any rank that you have as a class skill and at least 1 rank in it.

Maki it seems you are free to act in your classroom, the teacher seems aimable and the students willing to make the room more secure.
Electra with your back story it would seem that a +2 on wisdom would be best.

So interactions can happen in the rooms but with blockades most students wont bother with the room.

I was thinking about zombie conventions and how one bite can ruin you. Since hit points are not *exactly* your health, why don't we have it be that when they connect with a 'bite' attack, the character has to make a fort save? (Something like DC 10+ zombie's hit dice) If they make the save, the teeth didn't puncture skin. If not, then the bite went through?
I also didn't know if you're wanting to have bitten people make fort saves as per a disease in D20, or it's just instant doom.
I've been toying around with the idea that people who survive bites can become immune to the zombie virus after *years* of repeated exposures in my games.

I like rungok's idea of a fort save on bites that turn you into a zombie. That way you can also use an action point to reroll that save. (2 chances to live and tell the tale!) Although, perhaps you would have a small side effect, like a strand of white hair or a hankering for meat cooked rare.

With dms aproval, I am poking my head in here and officially saying 'hi'!
Hitomi-Sans day starts the same everyday- standard routine is good for him. He probably lives on campus and has a minder attached to the schools medical staffs. He would have a breakfast arranged by his minder and delivered to his room. After showering, dressing and then eating, Hitomi-San would then head for his home room class, alone. After so long here, he has learned to be fairly autonomous. witu all he learned he has been rather quiet this year- the big quiet guy in the back of the room that gets special treatment.
Sounds good Hitomi Tanaka. Now for the fun part... how did you react to the movement of your classmates as mobs were formed? Did you stay in your room or go hide out somewhere else?
I would have been collected by my minder given the chance and stuffed somewhere they thought was safe- medical ward maybe or back in his room. If it happened too fast, he would have probably stayed in his seat for the beginning of it- that is what you are supposed to do after the bell rang.
So Hitomi you are still in your seat. Wait for someone to interact with you then.
