Lleidr
Hurray! All Lleidr wanted for Festivus was to drop that damn mage.
Zilt, just asking, but since Tsuto moved through Lleidr's square, he has to beat Lleidr's CMD+5. If he beat Jubrayl, I'm guessing that's not enough to get an AoO on him, but wanted to double check.
Lleidr
Really lucky indeed, 'cause I'd have made thatAoO as he was leaping over me and I'm dying to make a callback to his line about keeping my eye on the ball.

[Afternoon, Thistletop, 8th Day After Goblin Raid, Round 5 Part 2, Thistletop Level Two]
Ned slides over and re-engages Nualia. Her skill at fending off two opponents is impressive, but speaks to her empowerment by evil.
Selia sprints ahead of Tsuto and slams the door to E4 shut (NOTE – I thought Selia’s move was only 20, due to a lame leg, but maybe I’m wrong).
Jubryal charges after Tsuto and is able to yank the door open (NOTE – I’m assuming 2 move actions, the actual move and opening the door, since an attack through the door is impossible).
Lleidr
I've gotten a little confused about who shut or opened which door, so lemme know if I try an invalid action.
Round 6
hp: 8 of 25
Spells: 3 of 4 1st lvl
Lleidr's admiration for Tsuto's leap will distract him for only a moment before he empathically calls for Arg to join him (free action), enhances 'tugger with Arcane Strike (swift action), and staggers punch-drunkenly after the patricide and the paladin. As Lleidr enters the corridor and sees the situation, he'll pick up his pace and move Acrobatically through Jubrayl's space (no check) and on through Tsuto's, hopefully avoiding AoO's to end up in a flanking position. He'll then attack Tsuto, stabbing at him with 'tugger.
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (9) + 13 = 22, moving out of Jub's space, DC=opponent's CMD
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (4) + 13 = 17, moving through Tsuto's space, DC=opponent's CMD+5
Gut-tugger: 1d20 + 7 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 7 + 2 = 23
damage: 1d4 + 0 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 0 + 1 = 2
Sneak attack damage: 1d6 ⇒ 6
Selia D'Averam.
Let's see ... Tsuto closed the door which is now in between him and Jubrayl. Selia closed the door which is north of Tsuto, which leads into the north room, E4, where poor Nualia is trying fend off a bunch of men attacking her.
I starting to rethink who the real hero of this story is.
You are right about Selia she is out side of the room because of her limited move not inside.
Selia walks to the east door in room E3 and from the E3 side slams it shut
Lleidr
I starting to rethink who the real hero of this story is.
C'mon, that's barely a frat party up there.
Also, never doubt, Lleidr is the real hero. Remember how I bravely focused on stabbing that young woman to death because I knew she would be an easier target to drop than her boyfriend? That was pretty heroic.
ziltmilt
Ah, right, that makes sense. One wrinkle - Jubrayl would need to take a 5' move backwards, right? I'll adjust the map on my end to accommodate this.
Also, I believe Hakak is Staggered at this point, but correct me if I'm wrong. I would like an action from him, however.
And, I just need an action from Nicholae.
Nicholae Szabo
Cant load map properly
Nich tries to find a space to attack the evil nemesis.
1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17
1d8 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11
Hakak Bloody Axe
|
Do to my feat Ferocious Resolve and my racial ability Ork Ferocity I am allowed to continue attacking even at negative hit points, but as soon as I went below 0 my rage automatically ends so I'm fatigued for the next 4 rounds.
Hakak will attach "sweet young" Nualia yet again.
Attack roll: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22
Damage roll: 1d12 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Nicholae Szabo
Not enough room for Hakak and I both to attack... move me south into the doorway and use that roll for Tsuto who I believe is in the corridor. I should get +2 flanking with Jub, thus giving me a 19 to hit

[Afternoon, Thistletop, 8th Day After Goblin Raid, Round 6 Part 1, Thistletop Level Two]
With a second wind, Hakak rushes over and gives Nualia a glancing blow with his axe.
(NOTE – nevermind what I said earlier about moving Jubrayl 1 step backwards; I’ll keep him where he ended in the prior round) Lleidr tries to scoot past Tsuto, but the monk blocks the way ahead and forces the halfling into the corner with the statue (Lleidr failed his Acrobatics check, and since Jub’s square is occupied, there was only 1 place left to put him). Tsuto’s fist lashes out (AoO), for 4 hp damage. Lleidr is able to strike the monk back, but only with a minor wound (since the move failed, there’s no flanking damage).
Nich smashes into the distracted monk. You see a look of despair on Tsuto’s face.
With a blind fury, he lashes out at Selia, but his wounds have impaired his aim. His fists knock chips from the stone walls as Selia expertly steps back.
“With my dying breath, I will take this traitor with me!” Nualia shouts. Her sword hammers Orik, who ends up pushed backwards against the ancient font on the north wall. Her demonic claw hand rips into his left arm, sending his shield clattering to the floor.
Orik returns the favor, hitting Nualia and pushing her away. But, you can see that the fighter’s strength is ebbing fast.
Lleidr
since the move failed, there’s no flanking damage).
I had a feeling that second Acrobatics roll wasn't gonna cut it :) but, since Lleidr got shunted off to the side, does he now flank Tsuto with Selia on the other side?
Lleidr
Round 7
hp: 4
Lleidr will empathically direct Arg to become a tattoo again (free action for Lleidr, move equivalent for Arg). As the monkey complies, Lleidr will retrieve the potion of cure moderate wounds (move equivalent action) he identified out of the goblin haul that no one else claimed and gulp it down (standard action).
potion of CMW: 2d8 ⇒ (7, 7) = 14 +? (Caster level unknown, don't know how many points to add
Nicholae Szabo
Nicholae moves into the gap made by Ned,
Attack 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13
Dmg 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
Yep - RNG hates us.
He then takes a 5ft step back and diagonally down allowing another access.
Lleidr
I think it's 3. Don't you use the minimum number for the caster level when using a potion?
Cool. So that's a total of 17, bringing his hp back up to 21!
ziltmilt
Nich and Ned swap spots, with Nicholas' blade smashing into Nualia, throwing her backwards against the wall. Her face twists in fury and hatred, but you notice she's unsteady on her feat. Nualia is weakening.
She chants a profane piece of liturgy, calling upon the fell power of Lamashtu. The room dims and your hearts quell at the unholy presence of such raw malice (Everyone except Lleidr: DC 15 Will Save for 6 or else take the full 12).
Orik collapses to the ground, his skin raw and blistered from Nualia's latest assault.
Next up: Lleidr, Selia, Jubrayl.
Selia D'Averam.
will: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 = 15
Feeling the wave of Nulia's magic she nearly buckles at the force hitting her but stands firm and walks to Hakak trying to heal his wounds.
healing: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
Jubrayl Elhan.
will: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26
Seeing Selia's spell all but fizzle Jub moves over his fallen comrade and tries to lay down his axe while healing himself.
lay on hands: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20
lay on hands: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
lay on hands: 1d6 ⇒ 2
Jubrayl Elhan.
so I copied my lay on hands for the basic dice roll expression then forgot to change them to attack and damage. so I tried to hit her for 20 and did 3 damage if that hit.
EDIT: Well darn I messed up there I could not step over Hakak he doesn't go down short of death so just give him this hp from the lay on hands. ignoring the attack.
lay on hands: 1d6 ⇒ 5
