You move onto the next room to find a ritual room. It has four glowing pillars. At the other end of the room is a man, atleast something shaped like a man. Under it's hood seems to be a mass of undulating worms that form it's humanoid shape. "You invade my home, I will destroy you!" This must be Xanthir Vang, the one in charge of the Sanctum. He levitates into the air, a semi-visible force field surrounding him as beams of energy shoot from the pillars. Arueshalae starts inspiring and then casts a spell on the party. Haste!
Gorn is up! Xanthir Vang is 20 feet in the air, the ceiling is 30 feet high in this room.

Hitting the pillar was easy enough, though it resists some of the damage it has taken. Though it is not enough as it is demolished by the party's efforts. Varda is the one to finish it with her third shot, her last two embedding into the western pillar.
As the first pillar is destroyed you can feel a warmth from Deadeye's bow. In your mind you see a vision of the bow creating arrows that explode on impact.
As a swift action you can spend a mythic power to cause Deadeye's Bow to fire explosive arrows. Instead of doing physical damage, they do deal 1d8 fire damage(plus modifiers) to the main target. They deal minimum damage to all creatures within 5 feet which can be negated with a reflex save equal to 10 + your mythic tier + your intelligence modifier.
