Surgery slated for Thursday this week. I'm working hard to get far enough ahead on my schoolwork that even if oxycontin'd out of the wazoo I'll not lose too much ground.

Either I'll have tons of time, as I'm bored out of my mind, that I'll be posting by the end of the week, or I will be so gorked on drugs/in so much pain, that posting will need to wait for after my convalescence.

Don't quote me on this, but I have a vague memory of the Perception DC being 15 or 20 to notice. The Drow Sign Language is supposed to be subtle, being small motions like maybe a quarter of the movements of our Sign language . As well as a fuzzy memory of it only being known by nobles, the higher priestess, not the common drow. Again, I could be wrong or that might have changed between versions.

But, I'm totally down with more infrequent use :P

Oh, and I spent some time combing through feats before I realized what should be obvious (you all probably already knew that): Quicken Spell. Effectively doubles spellcasting in combat, or allows me to buff myself without slowing down the bloodletting at all.

Wrathe has the Sending spell (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic/all-spells/s/sending), but it looks like everyone in the group can cast it, since it comes to clerics one level quicker.

Scrying (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic/all-spells/s/scrying) is something that we can all potentially do as well, though this one comes to wizards/sorcerers one level earlier.

oh, I forgot to mention it, Ssilax is all for asking the doctor more about the spectre, and what brought them here. Plus, if Sel Torrin is as hard as we have all decided it is to reach planerly, then what's the harm? We might learn of new way to jury rig a planer hop to shielded areas :P

So, even before Loki's hiatus I was wondering if the PF Society wanted to send someone with us, an "observer" or something.

With Loki stepping out for hopefully not too too long, maybe that could be one option. Probably the three of us, as Gestalt character, will manage; after all, we have two clerics, a slayer, a rogue, a wizard and a sorcerer, even without Wrathe (not sure if you'll be NPCing him or not).

Options...
1. As above, add a PFS agent.
2. Get another player or two, for extra input. Could be incorporated as 1) above.
3. Keep things as is.
4. Go on hold for a bit.

What think you all?

I was just going to npc Wrathe until he got back. If if looks like a long term, we could go from there, if the group wants to go on hold we can for a week, and at the end of the week, see where we are at.

So, Ssilax is planning on hitting everyone with both Protecion from Fire and Acid. It will absorb 108 of each type and last for 90 minutes. Not to mention a smattering of a few stat buff spells

Wrathe, I'm guessing here, would be throwing powerful summons along with a few buffs and damagy type spells.

I will also have my sheet fully updated spell-wise by tomorrow am, including and doo-dads Ssilax might have purchased.

The party got a twisted silver ring, holding it up to your eye it seems to move and change shape, staring at the ring for too long will cause a headache.
When you get to the gate it will open up.

Yes that's:
158 damage if only the two crits hit, or
261 damage if all 5 attacks hit.

Not including Simba.

Just have a quick question for you Argon: Per the rules about quicken spell:

Quicken Spell (Metamagic)
You can cast spells in a fraction of the normal time.

Benefit: Casting a quickened spell is a swift action. You can perform another action, even casting another spell, in the same round as you cast a quickened spell. A spell whose casting time is more than 1 round or 1 full-round action cannot be quickened.

Level Increase: +4 (a quickened spell uses up a spell slot four levels higher than the spell's actual level.)

Casting a quickened spell doesn't provoke an attack of opportunity.

Special: You can apply the effects of this feat to a spell cast spontaneously, so long as it has a casting time that is not more than 1 full-round action, without increasing the spell's casting time.

not that it matters at this point, but I am unclear about how you managed to get your kitty up so quick my friend :)
I know we are using the mana system, just couldn't remember if you can make the spell quickened that is a summoning spell with the mana system.

I think it would still have had "summoning sickness," there is a feat that gets rid of that, at least I'm pretty sure there is.

And yikes! that was a lot of damage dished out. Go team!!!!!

It doesn't have more than a 1 round casting time so Quicken spell should work.

I thought our mana rules allowed any metamagic, with the extra cost coming off in mana. If not, then we need to clarify...

Also "It appears where you designate and acts immediately, on your turn. ". I didn't see anything about sickness (I never have). Where is that from?

For the Bag of Holding, that's 35 lbs, capacity 1,000 lbs. and 150 cubic ft.

We can put all the gold (that's 480lbs) in it and Argon can carry it for all of us.

What's the limit on our spirit pouches? Was it 20 lbs?
