Just make sure that in the options you make sure only the core rules and arsenal are chosen.
I don't know if there's an srd for shadowrun but if you don't have access to the book and still wanna play I can build your character for you based on what you'd like to play. There's also quick start rules available free that gives you the basics of the system.

I believe I've got my character all built. I based her largely off one of the example characters in Anniversary. I just have to add some finishing touches and begin writing on her. Keep in mind, I've read a good portion of the Shadowrun book but it's been awhile and I have never played so things will be rough until I can get a hang of it.

No problem, I've never ran it and only played a little bit. I'll leave it up to everyone if they want me to recruit one or two more

Take a look at the ARES executive protector in Arsenal, it's basically what you saw in the video. Plus it can also be fired while still in the case as well.
If you wanna be able to have a case like that and fire immediately then yeah you would use QuickDraw.

Can people do two things for me formatting wise?
Set skills you have ranks in as OOC so I can see them easier
Put a space between each weapon, armour, vehicle, etc so I can tell what goes with what please.

Do we need to spend BPs on contacts? From your campaign lead in you mention that our contacts aren't talking to us, plus we're in a completely different city.

Hey Arc, Im just confused a bit. Should we not have contacts or lifestyle? Right now i have three and a high lifestyle but since were moving to a new city should i just take those out. Just wondering.
The relocation is just flavour for the beginning of the game. If you wanna play that you either only had contacts in Seattle or they all dropped you you can. As for lifestyle, it goes with you. You moved, so you've made arrangements to rent a different condo/apartment/hole and have packed or shipped your belongings.
