This peanut is neither a pea nor a nut.
Oh wait, it is a nut.
Discuss.

GM thunderspirit |

Pedantically speaking, peanuts are legumes, which is biologically a fruit. A nut, biologically speaking, is a fruit composed of a hard shell and a seed.
Practically speaking, of course, no one really cares. LOL :-)
The line comes from a Mike Myers-era Saturday Night Live bit called Coffee Talk.

Actually question of moderate to modest import: I am debating switching a trait before we begin, Trustworthy (+1 to Diplomacy, +1 to buff to lie, but not to feint, and Diplomacy as a Class Skill) will convert to Excitable (Gnome only, +2 Trait Bonus to Initiative).
Thoughts?

GM thunderspirit |

For blasters and buffers, going first is a Good Thing [tm].
For others, there's a certain amount of diminishing returns in my view. What kind of wizard do ya wanna be when you grow up? LOL

I want to not get hit by a brick to the head when I have a minuscule 7 hp. So going first to avoid getting said brick to the head is a good thing.
Then again, talking my way out of fights would be a great thing. I suppose I can take additional traits down the line if I feel I have made an error.
I will go with Excitable for now. I can always change my mind before I hit level 2.

Out of town a bit unexpectedly this weekend. I'll get something up tonight or tomorrow.

Have you looked into roll20.net? Each player would be able to control only their own icon. It has dynamic lighting so each token/player could see only what they could see based off of each light source, etc.
I use it for face-to-face gaming to show my maps, and heavily use the dynamic lighting. We still use miniatures on the displayed map.

I have, and I like the platform, particularly for live online play.
But, I can't access it at work, while I can get to and use Google Drive, and I frequently post on lunch. That's why it's my default choice as of now.

GM thunderspirit |

Animal? Vegetable? Mineral? :-)

GM thunderspirit |

Nope, I didn't drop anyone — you're still active AFAICT.
Yay, Paizo's never-know-quite-what-you'll-get site! :-)

I am sorry I have been absent. My mother in law recently had some surgery related to her cancer, and stopped breathing and was put on a ventilator for several days in the ICU at Deaconess Hospital in Spokanne, WA.

Real Life Comes First [tm]. Always.

I finally put up my spell book, apparently the Hero Labs output does not include that particular feature. Odd, you have to add spells tot he spell book, but it does not output it. Anyway, I am wondering if it is a good time for the party to take naps? I still have not used any of my 'spells', but I notice our real wizard is using acid splash. Is there a time-line for this one, or do we have time to sleep until morning before we venture on? If we have time, I would like to spend a couple hours taking 20 in each room to fully clear anything out, and to make sure we have gathered all relevant intel on what might lay in wait before we get queued up to face the final enemy.

GM thunderspirit |

This one does not have a specific timeline like some scenarios do (like, say, the follow-up to this one, The Penumbral Accords), so if the consensus is to take a nap, no problem. Although heading back out would probably make Nigel none too happy...

FYI ... I will be gone/traveling from Next Wednesday June 25 - July 3rd ... spotty internet at best (camping)
Think we'll be done in the next couple days?

GM thunderspirit |

We should be. I'm out of town thru Sunday, but this is the final encounter and it's nearly wrapped up itself. Will resume Sunday.

GM thunderspirit |

Well, that about wraps it up for God Voice in the Void.

Day job rolls (if applicable) and PFS numbers, please.

Primary success condition: The PCs end the threat to the Blakros Museum by destroying the sorcerer Kubburum Ishme-dagan.
Secondary success condition: The PCs complete their mission without killing Imrizade.
Both prestige points. Yay!
Looks like everyone is level 1, so all in tier gold. Please let me know if anyone is on the slow progression track.

GM thunderspirit |

Chronicles are available here once I get your number/PC and Day Job roll.
Azimuth and Vayu are done.

I love Hitchhikers and Douglas Adams, despite my stubborn belief in God lol.
There used to be a website where you could copy a sample of 5 paragraphs of your writing and it would analyze your writing style and compare you to a famous writer.
I placed 5 paragraphs of a sermon I had written to fill in for my minister earlier that month and it told me I wrote like Douglas Adams.
Irony, meet your definition.

GM thunderspirit |

Lore's chronicle is also ready.
Hope you had a good time, Lore! :-)

GM thunderspirit |

Yep. :-)
Payj's should be up too.

GM thunderspirit |

Oh yes — forgot to have you all roll a d20 to see if you get a boon! Please do so!

GM thunderspirit |

Since I want to get this in today...
Azimuth: 1d20 ⇒ 19
Clara: 1d20 ⇒ 17
Lore: 1d20 ⇒ 18
Ooh, so close...
Okay, deets sent off.
Thanks for playing, everyone! Hope ya had fun!
