I'd be willing to permit that, Tyver, if you are interested. Maybe a shield and/or melee weapon. I certainly wouldn't classify you as defenseless, however. Heightened Endurance really adds the hit points, and your natural weaponry is nothing to sneeze at. Your weapon would start out pretty basic, but you could modify it using inventing points (or get someone to modify it for you) into something more suited to your desires.
A good example is a character I once had who started out using a simple katana. By the time she was 4th level, she had tricked it out so that it could generate a magnetic field to repel metal objects and did electrical damage on a successful hit. At 6th level, she modified the sword into a pair of wrist-razors, to prevent her being disarmed. By 9th level, she had added the EMP generator and sonic burst.

so would it be possible to modifiy my gauntlets to one day act like the device in singularity? Also what are the cost for healing recent wounds and would it be possible to revive someone who just died? like reverse his time before he was shot? ill probably have more questions later, time is a tricky thing and typing on a ds is annoying.

Natural weapon is martial arts, claws, teeth, spikes, etc., yes. But nothing stops you from carrying a weapon as well.

Natural Weaponry simply grants a straight bonus to attack and damage rolls in unarmed HTH combat. However, there is a 20% chance that you also get a bonus power that suits the nature of the Natural Weaponry. For example, if your Natural Weaponry is due to martial arts skill, your bonus power might be nerve combat. If your Natural Weaponry represents claws or teeth, the extra power might represent a venom.
The weapon and shield are not associated with the Natural Weaponry. They are simply pieces of equipment that you might modify using the inventing system.
In a nutshell, you get a number of inventing points each level equal to your Intelligence score divided by 10. Your chance of successfully inventing something is equal to your Intelligence score x3%. In other words, if you have an Intelligence of 10, you get 1 inventing point each level and have a 30% chance of successfully inventing or modifying a piece of equipment.

Excellent example, Dialkar. Each successful use of an inventing point (each attempt costs 1 point) allows you to build one device or modify an existing device to provide a new ability.

Ice Storm |

Assuming Dialkar shows his stuff in practice
Zane, you should team up with Jiminy. I think you would complement each other.
When Orion shows up. Morning Sleepy head. He brings the dimensional traveler up to date, and asks him to find a place in the team dynamics. Just giving Orion some scarves, he could effectively blind opponents with his telekinesis.
Ice takes Zane aside and asks. Daddy Warbucks, can you get some comm devices short notice, for the team?

Zane Kheldon |

I should be able to come up with something...but we wouldn't have them until tomorrow if I next day air them.
Jumps on ipad...These look likely. It says they are ear pices...like the secret service use. Hmmm, they only have a 30 day warranty though.
What about these, 1 year warranty and made locally! Wow, they are $150 each...oh well. Next day air... clikc click click.

Cardinal aka Dr R Stanton |

Perhaps it would aid the ambush if I gave that reporter an interview after all, and let her know we're checking out some leads, spending the day interviewing the previous sites of attack, etc. You know, pretend we don't have a clue. Pretty much where we were at earlier today. I should probably run it past Broyko first, though.

Ice Storm |

Maintaining your integrity with the public and the reporters, would be more valuable to the team, then spending it on what would result in a minor advantage at best. You handled that Cutie with professionalism, and, in my opinion, are a great front man for the group. I hate to see your reputation tarnished, just when its getting established.

Ice Storm |

You and me both. But we have a couple of Astral travelers in the group that could act as an early warning system. Ice pulls the picture of the Marionette and with a series of agressive finger flicks to her head This one should be taken out first, should she show up. Other than that, I think we're as ready as we can be. I'm going to rest and rejuvenate for a few. I want to be fresh for tonight.

Zane Kheldon |

Its not the kind of thing that Zane would keep around. His spells have toughened his body and sharpened his senses but swords, body armor, and the like he wouldn't have around, unless it was decoration. He could buy something but probably wouldn't have it sitting around to use.
Perhaps we should go buy something while we still can? Maybe a military surplus might have something like Kevlar.

Kevlar is available. It acts as 8 points of Invulnerability, but has no effect on attacks other than kinetic. With ceramic inserts in place, it acts as 15 points of Invulnerability, but reduces agility by 2 points due to bulk and difficulty moving.

Riot shield is also available. It has a Parry Rating of 5, which means that when you spend an action to evade, you subtract 5 from your chance of being hit by any attack that could be parried.

I have no issue with Tver getting some protective equipment, but don't go overboard. The two things to ask yourself are: a) does this suit the character, and b) is it overkill?
Think about the super-heroes in the comics. Batman doesn't carry an assault rifle, even though it would make him more effective. Spiderman has incredible agility, so he doesn't wear armor.
