Looking up at Garret and over at Vekaessena Farrin nods.
"Iii Am fine with being called whatever you want to call us. I will differ to either of your leaderships. You both are much taller than this dwarf is. Other tall-folk will probably respond to you better, Which is great because that means i can be in the forge at work on something or in the library looking for new leads that we may find some lights within the darkness of this weird place. Soo many people."

Looks like you weren't the only one according to this THREAD. Must have been a glitch.

Stat array: 18, 18, 14, 13, 12, 10
With those stats, I am thinking an overly courageous, upbeat Paladin with the Empyreal Knight archetype. An Angel-Blooded Aasimar (+2 Str, +2 Cha).
Final stats of: Strength 20, Dexterity 10, Constitution 14, Intelligence 12, Wisdom 13, Charisma 20.
"Onward ho!"
I'm thinking a Paladin who steadfastly refuses to kill any intelligent beings as he is convinced everyone can be redeemed of their ills. Undead, demons, oozes, etc, get splatted though. Either that or an overly enthusiastic Paladin who smacks around anything that detects as evil.

Are we using the default Golarion pantheon?

I dont think you explained it too well or perhaps i missed it.
Are the two groups able to interact, are we in the same time-space intercection or instance as each other or are we in unique worlds? Say one them finds the only X in area 1 of the ruins, does that mean we cant find it or could we both find the X where there exists only one within the world?
Are they competition or are their adventures a piece of alternative fiction that someone in MY universe wrote that i may consider a "referance document" within the library, and their researches the same with our tales?

I explained it before as sort of like a spinoff show. They both inhabit the same "instance" of the same universe. So, yeah, if one of you finds the Holy Unique Sword of Impossible To Copyness, then the other team is not (or if they do, something odd is going on).
However, it's unlikely the teams will meet unless you decide to. Or if Team Good is hired to kill Team Bad after a horrible misunderstanding involving mouthy orphans and bad luck.

I'm not sure if there's going to be room for another, we'll see how things play out but I don't want to make any promises at this point. There are a lot of people dropping in, throwing dice and clearly not reading the entire thread and I just can't accommodate everyone. I've already splintered this into two groups.
We're using whatever gods the individual players decide they want.
Charlemagne's Brain |
Yeah, I found the thread at work and only skim read it. With the stats rolled, I can apply them to anything. What's most required for Team Good?
No judgements, it's just a logistics thing. You're on the waiting list though and we've had drop outs already, so if a slot opens up it's yours. Team good currently has an archery Paladin, a Dwarf Wizard-Historian, A half-orc with a cool backstory and an undecided class (maybe rogue, maybe bard, maybe ninja, possible mix), a melee summoner, and very likely an Orc Barbarian (and I might even have forgotten someone, like I said lots of people are just plopping down and throwing dice).

Farrin is now in my profile. Ill make a separate persona for him if required, but i prefer to keep my posts under the same name so i can find them all easier.
He is kinda wandering around town, looking for the guy hes hoping is still here and alive. Maybe following around one of the others on Team good that are more city wise.

I believe you will have to create a new campaign. There is an option to change the gameplay thread link, but not add a second one.
When you create a new one, I think you can just not even make a recruitment and link everyone the gameplay?
Yep. Pretty sure that's how the GM did it in the two team PbP I mentioned earlier.
Malbrighka |
I haven’t played in a campaign with two different groups. However you want to orchestrate it is fine with me.
Also if Malbrighka isn’t a good fit for the campaign I have no problem stepping aside for someone else. She’s more interested in interacting with citizens of Venture Town and working at Floating Petals than exploring the dungeons at this time.
Klokk |
Farrin looks up at Malbrighka speaking softly as he admires her Greataxe.
"I think lass, that you may be a fit for our team, your ax is at least as big as mine, and you seem to carry yourself better for combat then I do. ya know, you working at the Floating Petals or whatever that place is called, could vary well come in handy. Between digs you can acquire the gossip and rumors that i would never hear in a library or sages tower surrounded by the books and scrolls i love so much."
As he finishes talking Farrin looks down at the ground and kinda shuffles his feet some, as hes nervous of speaking so many words in common to a female.
Malbrighka |
Malbrighka glances at the dwarf then looks at his face closely. She nods while suppressing a frown. After a moment, she straightens her back and clears any troubled emotion from her face.
”What kind words,” she says with a smile, bowing her head slightly to the side. ”Please do not feel embarrassed to speak with me. Is it because I’m half-orc? Surely you’ve heard of the Kir Dunraghk tribe? I’m Malbrighka. You know, I recognized you. I dreamt of you. We were in the vaults with some others. Imagine that.”
Garrett Carr |
I made a couple last minute adjustments (including buying some arrows, kind of important to this character!)
I'd appreciate it if you'd go ahead and start a new thread and open a the discussion tab. Even if you aren't ready to start the campaign yet it would give us a chance to roleplay a bit in the bar.
Jamako |
Reminds me of a dwarf I'm fond of. His first combat action after joining the campaign was to frighten the bajeesus out of the town guard. All but the captain soiled their britches and ran. He soiled his britches and stood there in awe.
To be fair.. a 10ft tall 1 ton dwarf with a greataxe isn't something you see every day. I'd run too. >_>
