The circle was mine and can be deleted. It served its purpose.
I fixed your token Morgrym so all good. My question for you is where are you getting the +4 for your force of will reroll on the save? It isnot on the original save.
Male Humanly Awesome 'n Totally Rockin' Paladin of Greatness
Okay, had to look because I was wondering the same thing. :P
Ansha's "Shape Emotions" ability. Link
I didn't apply it to the original roll because it didn't matter. And obviously, it didn't matter on my second crappy roll either. Ugh.
If it doesn't apply then let me know and I'll remember not to include it next time.
The shape emotions would apply for everything after her turn. For the reroll that would happen on the dragons turn so would not work. You are shaken but Ansha negates it for now. It will only matter if she stops using the ability.
Yes Arigoder you are immune to the fear. That is why you will be targeted.

Male Humanly Awesome 'n Totally Rockin' Paladin of Greatness
So not shaken until she stops using Shape Emotions. Only then will the effects hit him. Okay, cool. Will keep that in mind.
Female Elf Wizard (Manipulator) 15/Archmage 7 Portrait
Better stay within 30' of her, too!
Male Humanly Awesome 'n Totally Rockin' Paladin of Greatness
Ah, gotcha. Will definitely keep that in mind for sure. :P
Male Humanly Awesome 'n Totally Rockin' Paladin of Greatness
Crap! My bad, Variel. Yes, it should be 18. Total mistype. Should be 34, not 44.
I don't know how I didn't see that. Ugh.
Ok then 3 misses. Thanks for clarifying

Oh, good grief. I literally never saw your post two weeks ago.
Wait - I did go before the dragon - my prayer spell was my action this around for Nasira.
Damiel, coming up.
Yes and you also get to go again as the readied action means you go just before it in the round.
Next round update tomorrow. I was stuck at work overnight due to the cold. Everyone stay safe in the US that are dealing with this storm.
Merry Christmas as well!

Merry Christmas to all y'all as well!
With weather, work and Christmas I just haven’t had time to get to my laptop and look up stats for the dragon’s turn. Should be going by tomorrow night.

Hi folks,
I'm about to be away for 2 weeks - but with the usual "post-trip" recovery time, I think it's safer to say I'm away 'til Jan 16th (so we can all be pleasantly surprised if I'm online sooner).
Please feel free to bot Arigoder while I'm gone. Now that he's within reach of the dragon, he'll be doing the full attack and parry the bite, most likely. Throw in a smite, too.
Male Humanly Awesome 'n Totally Rockin' Paladin of Greatness
@Variel: Man, thanks for the heads up on that "Non-mythic creature" save business. I totally forgot about if you save from a non-mythic creature you save completely. That's cool. Thanks again.
I can be nice everyone once in a while. It was the holidays, and I was in the Christmas spirit.
Male Humanly Awesome 'n Totally Rockin' Paladin of Greatness
Nasira you just might be the target if you keeping spamming heals like that on yourself and Arigoder.

Yeah, I’m afraid of that. I need Morgrym to work fast!
Male Humanly Awesome 'n Totally Rockin' Paladin of Greatness
Lol! Man o man, he's trying. Boy, is he trying. This stinking dragon is a freaking punk. :P

Back and getting up to speed.

Pleasantly surprised to see you online sooner!
Welcome back!
Welcome back Arigoder. While you were gone though I did have you use a mythic point to force a reroll on the dragon's tail attack. That was an immediate action which means no smite this round. It was either that or knock you unconscious. I assume you prefer this than prone in front of the dragon.
Without the smite you will miss the first 2 attacks but do get a critical confirmation. I show that is 24 + 45 + 6 + 6 = 81
Male Aasimar (Musetouched) Bloodrager (Urban) 1/Paladin (Virtuoso Bravo) 14 [Champion: 7]
Could I use a standard to smite? Could burn a mythic to activate Amazing Initiative for another standard.
And, yes, 24 (blade) + 45 (bonuses) + 6 (prayer) + 6 (holy) , but also 13 precision unless he's immune.
Sorry. Forgot about the precision. Yes that adds. I don’t think you can use a standard for a swift
Female Elf Wizard (Manipulator) 15/Archmage 7 Portrait
I would assume you could, ordinarily, use a standard for anything less than a standard action (the PRD explicitly says you can use a standard action as a move action, for example). The problem would be that you can only use one swift action per turn, and the immediate action to parry would count as the swift action for the turn.
Male Aasimar (Musetouched) Bloodrager (Urban) 1/Paladin (Virtuoso Bravo) 14 [Champion: 7]
It's not the parry that was the immediate - parry's an AoO. It's the use of a mythic point to avoid the critical hit. But, same holds.
Since Ari would know he didn't smite, small edit to his action -- would still be a full attack, but will use a free (and spend a panache) to use the Bleeding Wound deed on his hit. That'd be Bleed 9, since he's (controlled, dex) raging -- and punishing blow means he can't fast heal or regenerate since Ari hit him.
Updated map tomorrow with dragon actions
With the punishing blow the dragon can still heal wounds via spells though correct? Is there a heal check or caster level check needed?
Male Aasimar (Musetouched) Bloodrager (Urban) 1/Paladin (Virtuoso Bravo) 14 [Champion: 7]
He can cast. It's just no fast heal or regen. Also, because it was a crit, he'd lose his DR for a round.
Punishing Blow wrote:
Path Ability: Punishing Blow (Ex)
Any opponent you hit with a melee or ranged attack loses the benefits of regeneration and fast healing for 1 round. In addition, if you score a critical hit against the target, it loses the benefit of its damage reduction for 1 round. A creature whose regeneration can't be suppressed or ignored (such as the tarrasque) is immune to this effect.

Ansha Saeralyan wrote: Shouldn't that natural 1 on the first attack end the dragon's full attack action? Really? Seriously? Because I confess I've never heard of that rule. (Of course, there are a multitude of rules I'm unaware of, so, there you go) :P
I just thought rolling a 1 was a miss. *shrugs*
Female Elf Wizard (Manipulator) 15/Archmage 7 Portrait
Well, looks like it might be that way in PF1e. I thought it ended your attack sequence in PF1e, but I guess it could have been a carryover I learned in 3.5. Apparently it’s a pretty common house rule, though.
I have never played with a bat 1 ending an attack sequence unless playing with house rules or an crit fumble/confirm deck
Male Humanly Awesome 'n Totally Rockin' Paladin of Greatness
A house rule? Really? Boy o boy, I'm glad I've never played with that rule. That would suck. I'd NEVER get any attacks in at that rate with the way I roll. :P

I've never encountered that rule, house or RAW.
Male Aasimar (Musetouched) Bloodrager (Urban) 1/Paladin (Virtuoso Bravo) 14 [Champion: 7]
That's not one I've ever heard before, other than when using a critical fumble deck (which I never do).

Apologies for the holdup. Will make it a point to get to it tomorrow. Been a busy several days for me.

Usage question: Somehow, this thread has stopped notifying me of updates. Anyone know how to get that functionality back? I don’t think I hit the “don’t notify me” link, but putting them next to the “new” link, it might have happened.
No idea. Didn’t even know there was a don’t notify me link

Shows up just right of the “(x new)” when there are new posts waiting. But it’s always there until you click it once. Then they no longer show up as having new posts. I guess I named it wrong, but it makes me miss new posts!
I think manually looking at the Gameplay thread should un-do your attempt at Hiding a thread. I know that’s what happened with me when I accidentally clicked on an L5R game I was in on the forums and dropped out of.
…although, strangely enough, that old L5R game doesn’t even show up on my Campaigns page at all any more—even on the Previous Games section.
Works for me, though. I didn’t want it showing up on my Campaigns page to begin with!
Male Humanly Awesome 'n Totally Rockin' Paladin of Greatness
I never heard of that either. Weird. And yeah, what Ansha said. If you just look at the gameplay thread, you'll get notifications again.

Worst case, posting again should reactivate it.

It's been broken for a while. Doesn't seem to be recovering on its own. I've posted several times.
Thanks for the thoughts, though!
